Thank you for your valuable feedback and thought process regarding this product's performance. It is unfortunate you weren't completely satisfied with your experience using this product. 1406 is s a high strength PVA adhesive and isn't designed to be overly "tacky". Follow flooring manufacturer’s guidelines for bead size and application (top of tongue or groove application).Apply bead to tongue or groove according to flooring manufacturer’s instructions. Insert tongue into groove and tap as required to ensure full contact. Remove excess glue immediately. Once dry this adhesive is highly solvent and water resistant.

I have purchased several bottles over time. I use the glue to seal all seams when I place a new floor down. Seems to work well. Only problem is that the covering lid gets lost easily because of its size and thereby allows the glue to dry out. It should be made to cover the snout and not plug it.

Once I got to where I had used 40% of the glue application became tedious. The glue was difficult to get out of the bottle. Once I got to 30% left, I just had to buy a new bottle. The glue companies should try using their product before they sell it.

I needed to do a laminate repair for a customer as the laminate had separated on the ends (snap together flooring) this glue worked as it should and was easy to use, it looked more professional using this then Elmer's glue even though it's pretty much the same product

I bought three of these to do a engineered wood floor, save yourself time and money and find another glue. It took me 15 minutes to glue up the first two pieces and even then I was not able to get a good tight joint. It had consistency that was thick and rubbery like and all three bottles were just the same. It reminded me of old rubber cement that had been left open over night. I tried using hot water to warm them up but it made no difference. I ended up getting the tite bond tongue and groove glue and was much easier to work with. I have used other versions of tite bond glue before and all performed much the same.

Should have read other reviews first
I could not squeeze the glue out of the container. I was also expecting it to be a creamy colour like other wood glues. It was a golden see through colour but too thick to squeeze. Other reviewer said to check containers before purchase. I will be returning this one.

The product applies easily and works well. Make sure it is fresh. Turn it upside down and make sure the glue easily flows to the nozzle. I had to return two containers because they must have been old and the glue would not flow out without squeezing hard as I could.
