I purchased a bottle of Roundup in central Texas. The labels are in English, but all of the instructions are written in Spanish. No English translations.

Roundup Plus (red - 18% glyphosate) does not work as quickly as it has in the past. It takes at least 24 hours or more to see results. I use it to kill weed grasses mostly. Other glyphosate products generally take a week or more to show results. If you are not interested in quick results, better to use less expensive products with 41% or more glyphosate.

We are sorry that you did not get the results you expected from Roundup Concentrate Plus Weed and Grass Killer. For waxy or hard to control weeds, you may need to poke holes in the foliage with a garden rake before applying, so that the product can be sure to penetrate the waxy surface. We would be interested in speaking with you further about this so that we can learn why the product may not have worked. If you would be willing, we ask that you call us at 877-220-3089 and refer to your review so that we can make a more complete report to our Quality Assurance Department. Scotts

The application process was very tedious, therefore didn't get the entire job done. Was advised to apply only on the blades of grass as getting it on the periwinkle will kill it. Hope fully next year I'll have more time and patience to try some additional spots. If you have any other suggestions on an easier method, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe a different spray on product.

All though this product did kill the weeds, it also destroyed my grass. Everywhere I sprayed it on the dandelions it killed my lawn. The label says that it is safe for your lawn, not true. Now I have to wait about a month for the product to disappear, so I can seed new grass where it was killed. Very disappointed. Will never buy again and recommend do not buy or use.

We had a lot of weeds and grass that was growing up in our mulch around our back deck that needed to be killed. We used the standard Round Up in the past and the weeds still came back, but when I sprayed this product 2 days later everything turned brown then shriveled up and disappeared. Instead of using 5 ounces per gallon I used 7, just because I wanted to make sure the weeds and grass would die off. We will see how long this will last before the weeds and grass will grow back, but until then I would buy this product again.

      The Quick and The Dead
I purchased the product and got home, read the instructions and diluted the concentrate according to directions. I sprayed all the areas that I wanted to rid of grass and weeds that evening. When I came out the next morning and looked at that same area and saw that the weeds and grass had already died and turned Brown. So I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product and I'm now looking for other places to spray.

        Did absolutely nothing!
I took 3" of dirt off the ground. Spayed Round up. Waited a week sprayed again. Put down weed barrier, covered with 3" of decomposed granite. In less than a week had weeks coming up. Contacted Home Depot they gave me a stronger Round up-6 months later and 6 bottles of the stonger Round up and still have weeds coming up. 40 tons of granite and thousands of dollars in work and weeds in it all. Contacted Home Depot again today and was told it it not there problem. Can some one from Round up help? I have alot of time and money in this and am very dissatisfied with Round up and Home Depot. I followed their recommendations on this project and need to start over to get it weed free. See pictures from less than one week of laying down granite. Weed block used was made by Scott's-wouldn't recommend it either. Please feel free to contact me to resolve this problem. Abilene Texas. Leave me a way to contact you in this section.

        Backyard with years of neglect
My backyard was neglected for two years due to family illness and in the good ole Mississippi Gulf Coast, the rainfall allows for fast growth. I decided to tackle the yard this year that had weeds 5 feet high. It also had very thick "weed trees" with stalks that were 2-3 inches thick. Throw in a ton of thorny bushes and vines all over, and I had a real mess. I had to take one section at a time due to the height of the problem, but as of now I have half of the yard back and the other half dead or dying. I consider my case an extreme example of what Roundup can do. The key to it is that the main ingredient takes a good week or more to fully kill the problem depending on what type of weed it is. The other active ingredient damages the leaves themselves on contact which is used to confirm what was hit and what may need a follow-up. The main thing with this product is PATIENCE. It will take a full 10 days before you see major weed kill. Adding more of the product does not speed this up. If this product could take my yard back, it can do anything!

          Perfect control for thistle
I have tried many ways to control and remove thistle from our island areas in our yard, such as pulling and using other weed kill products, as well as inches of much. Nothing seemed to work until I tried Roundup concentrate! I bought a Round up 2gal. sprayer and mixed according to instructions. I then placed a dixie cup over the end of the spray nozzle to keep from over spraying any of our plants and trees. I pumped up the sprayer and placed the dixie cup over the thistle and sprayed very gently. Within a few days my thistle was dead and easy to remove. Keeps them from returning for more than 3 months! Excellent product if used carefully and well worth the money!

            This stuff works
Mixed it per the directions of the bottle and had great results! You have to get the hang of how much to use on an individual weed to get the maximum killing power but that just takes time to learn how to use your sprayer. Love the product for what I’m using it for

disappointed - doesn't work at the dilution
The product advertises "up to 10 gallons", but does not work at that dilution. It really only makes 5 gallons at the dilution that works.

It works great and has low toxicity and environmental impact. I can use it on gout weed the intertwines with the roots of my irises. All I have to do is paint a little on the leaf of the weed and it dies to the root whilebl the irises are unharmed.

Waste of time, effort & money - worthless product!
My old complaint was that after applying RoundUp and killing the weeds, they would start sprouting back in 2-3 weeks and not months as advertised. The only solution at that time was to re-apply every month. But things got worse since last year: the chemical (Glyphosate) is so weak that it does not even kill the weeds anymore! I tried two different bottles, twice, one early fall in 2023, and about 2 weeks ago this year.... same result - weeds are thriving like I applied a fertilizer. SHAME!

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Roundup Concentrate Plus Weed & Grass Killer and appreciate your feedback.

A complete kill will take 4 weeks. Lower dilution rate (3oz per gallon) will not be as effective as the higher dilution rate (6 oz.) especially on perennial weeds. Apply when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60 - 85 degrees F. If there is a lack of rain fall or water then weeds are not actively growing. Although roundup will still kill the plant, will not get results in 24 hrs. Evening applications will take longer to kill the weeds because the plant is no longer photosynthesizing. We recommend that weeds not be cut for two days both before and after the product application to maximize leaf surface and absorption.

We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 877-220-3089 if we can further assist. roundup
