it's mortar, fairly easy to use , dries well, only i just yesterday got around to applying any heat to it, and that, just a sterno-log/duraflame so i can't speak to it at very intense heat but it seemed to hold up ok. read directions. hardness depends on water content.

Easy to use. Was not hard to get the right mix. Just enough for my firepit repair.

Great stuff. Used this to fix the inner burn bowl of my Komoda Grill. The bowl broke in two pieces. This worked perfectly to fix it!!

It did not work, followed the instructions and it was like soup. Not sure if the product was a bad batch or not but start with very little water.

Used it to build a forge. Turns out I needed more than expected so I will be buying more but it mixed very easily and set quick.

You really need to 1) carry a smaller size because you don't really need that much for one chimney, and 2) carry in the store, your chimney building supplies were really lacking in the Waterville store. I find it very fascinating that I was able to find the correct size flue and refractory cement in a much smaller independent hardware store, in fact I've been finding a lot of stuff this summer at this same store that you guys didn't carry. Lately I've just been going there first instead.

The bucket came with no lid and spilled out into the box. It made a mess on my porch and I'm sure in the carriers truck. I have pictures.

Hard to tell if it works until I have a fire

Watched u-tubes on this product and looked just like what I wanted to lay fire brick in new fire pit. Then the process began. Had laid new blocks on perimeter, ready for new fire brick to line inner area. Mixed per instructions on back, BUT it would NOT stick to the brick. Very costly lesson, so we thinned it down and poured in cracks between bricks.Sorry but I vote NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the lid cover was off and the powder was half out on the cardboard and leak out

Mix it and mix it more after you get the right texture it does the job

The product was great however it was shipped to me terribly. Half of the container had spilled out. Thankfully i bought too much which came in handy.
