The shower door was relatively easy to install and looks great! Overall a good value, BUT after it was installed we noticed a defect in the middle of the glass door right where your eye goes to. Tried and tried to erase it but it appears to be a metallic inclusion in the glass. Probably a defect in manufacturing!! Now we must either try to get a replacement glass panel -OR- live with it. Very disappointing :-(

The frame was relatively easy to put up if you are a bit of a DIYer. Read all the instructions first and make sure you have all tools handy.Measure once, twice and then once more before cutting top and bottom rails. Can always shave off alittle bit more...cant put it back. I happened to have a reciprocating saw so cutting was easy. Dont assume both will measure the same. Have help when lifting doors into place. They are pretty heavy and it is actually the weight of them that helps hold the top rail down making them slide well on the rollers. I have only just had this door a week so I cannot speak to the long term durability.

Based on what quality shower doors can cost you this unit offers great bang for your buck. Quality of craftsmanship is standard as to be expected. Be advised that the frame's finish is painted silver, not silver as in raw aluminum and acceptable for me based on price. That said, take care when installing not to scratch the surfaces when dry fitting and/or cutting. Also, when picking up the unit, if you hear things clanking around in the box, its not the glass, its the frame. mine had a small scratch that wasn't a big deal for me because its high on the inside and not too noticeable. The glass comes with a coating that is supposed to keep the shower side of the doors "clean". Bold instructions say not to use chemicals on that side to maintain the coating. Problem is, the doors are packaged with cardboard spacers that are GLUED to THAT side! Why not flip the doors over and glue the side we can use chemical cleaners on? Just saying. All and all when considering what my other options were going to cost to get this look with good craftsmanship I am extremely satisfied with the product. One other note if your installing yourself- The doors are thinner and lighter than the more expensive units even though this unit is pretty heavy. I noticed my my left side door warps inward a little. If I try and slide that door all the way to the other side it hits the frame leaving a gap. not a big deal since the doors go one way only based on which side your shower head is on. If your doors aren't closing try switching sides before running them back to the store. I luckily installed them the way that worked the first time. Had I encountered that problem I may have freaked out a bit.

The door is a quality product that looks more expensive than it is. Relatively easy for one or two people with moderate skills to install. Surprisingly heavy glass and heavy duty rollers add to the impression of quality. The inclusion of a special "spot free" inside of the door was a pleasant surprise. Could be done in an hour or so, although my wife and I took our time.

One of the glass panels didn’t have holes to hang drilled in it. I’ve been waiting on a replacement panel for over a month now.

The order was delivered missing some components and it required the store almost 2 hours to figure this out and come up with a much delayed resolution (2-3 weeks)

Perfect for my bathroom

The shower was very easy to install, and nice quality basic shower door. I problem came when I opened the box to prepare to install it. All the parts were missing to install it. No hardware no shower door handles,I had to wait 4 days to get the parts needed.

I love the way this looks...clean, sleek lines. The problem was that it came through with spots in the coated finish....spots that would not wipe off. I called Home Depot and they said to bring it back and they would replace the doors. This was more than a bit of bother. I called Kohler customer service and without missing a beat they offered to send out new doors at no cost. We received them in less than a week. This was great because I didn't have to pack up and schlep the old doors back. Thank you Kohler !!

My husband was able to install this door in a few hours. The only real issues we had was not having the correct saw to cut a small peice...our fault not the door. As for the look, this door achieved the clean, simple apprerance we wanted without making our bathroom makeover out of budget. The doors glide smoothly, I really enjoy that both doors slide all the way from side to side. This helps with cleaning and with allowing good ventilation in to dry the shower after each use. I use a squeegee after each use, so I can't really say much pro/con about the glass coating, but I don't have any water spots or streaks when I use the squeegee.

We had a contractor install the shower door and there were no problems. Very pleased.
