Just stopped working
everything worked great and suddenly stopped working. it still runs but it doesn't microwave. the most important part seems to have broken. based on other reviews this should be a 150 microwave not 500

    Dangerous microwave. Stay away
    Look at every review that says that the buttons press themselves and particularly the number seven. the microwave will often put in 77 minutes and 77 seconds and then start itself. read that again. the microwave starts itself and cooks at 1500 watts of power for over an hour with zero input. it also will start the vent and exhaust your conditioned air out of your home. ive never been so disapointed in a product in my life.

          Very disappointed with Samsung
          this product lasted only 4 years then began to trip the circuit breaker after running for 10 sec. also had a slight smell. i am very disappointed with samsung. on the same day, i bought a samsung refrigerator and both have had issues. seems they should be problem-free for longer than this.

There are several reasons why a circuit breaker trips, especially when you use your microwave. Has there been an additional appliance installed in the kitchen area? A common scenario why circuit breaker trips is that there are too many electrical appliances being plugged into the same circuit. Generally, circuits are rated for 20 amps, and microwaves tend to draw somewhere between 12 and 15 amps. Therefore, when multiple appliances are running on the same circuit simultaneously, it exceeds that circuit’s rating and trips the breaker.               Will not buy samsung again
              i have owned this microwave for 3.5 years. in that time i have had the door replaced twice. it is constantly having buttons phantomly pressed. it will turn the vent on turbo in the middle of the night etc. clearly a product issue as two replacements have not helped and other reviews include it as well.

Once the service is completed, I believe there is a timeframe the service center will come back out if the issue is not fixed after the repair.                 Electronics Issue Unresolvable
                normally, when it not in use, the microwave just shows the time on the led screen. however, my microwave has developed the habit of turning off the clock randomly and in its place, it scrolls the message: "press start to turn on." the message will continue scrolling unless i touch the "stop/clear" pad. this occurs all day repeatedly. so i unplugged it to see if that would reset the unit but it didn’t resolve the issue. in fact, about 30 minutes after plugging it back in, the microwave turned on and the timer was set at 78 hours and was counting down. so if i hadn't been at home, i wonder if it might have caught on fire and possibly burned down my home.

                  DO NOT buy this microwave! It randomly turns itself on. We woke up to a smoke filled house and alarms going off in the middle of the night. I feel it could very easily catch on fire. It also presses 7 throughout the day and the vent will turn on by its self as well.

Left over pizza is soggy when heated in a microwave and an over takes too long and heats the house up. The power grill heats the pizza up so that the crust crisp and not dried out. If the power grill was a little more powerful it would better, but it is great as it is.

                    Junk ... has broke 2x with same issue
                    unit has now broke for second time with what appears to be the same issue. luckily last time it broke it was still within the warranty time. they however replaced most of the guts including the magnetron. unit counts down like it is heating but no noise, no heat. will not buy another samsung microwave. was also not a fan of the power grill at all. user controls were definitely not as user friendly as most other microwaves. too many menus to have it perform a function..

                      have had this microwave for just shy of 2 yrs. we did not get an extended warranty bc , fortunately, we can afford a repair. but just today, microwave is not working. a new appliance should be reliable enough to last mich longer than 2 yrs before a repair. in fact, i have never had a microwave of any other brand ever break. also have a samsung oven and it was already repaired once several months ago. we will never ever buy samsung again. and if this microwave needs to be replaced, it will definitly be a different brand. there is no reliability of these products.

                                      i am very disappointed with my purchase of samsung powergrill. expensive and faulty manufacturing. turns on randomly which is a fire hazard. also the vent option turns on high randomly and wakes me up in the night. i have always purchased samsung products but i am reconsidering my options for the future.

                                        Microwave not worth it.
                                        I have had this product for only two years and it just stopped heating. I bought a full set of Samsung kitchen appliances (refrigerator, Range, dishwasher and microwave) In November 2018. I paid a lot of money for these products and to have this item just stop working is ridiculous. The warranty is minimal and to service a microwave would likely cost nearly as much as it would to replace it. I tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions and still nothing. Never even used the power grille feature. Not worth it!

                                          This microwave has been terrible since day one. We bought the whole Samsung package to put in our brand new home in 2016. We had a service man come out 3 times to fix the door because buttons push them selves all the time. Issue still not fixed. I dont have time to sit on the phone all day trying to get the issue fixed. Tonight we came home and the microwave had set it on time and turned itself on!!! God knows how long it had been running before we got here but it was running with over 6 HOURS left on the timer. Thank God we got home when we did... guess we are going to be purchasing a new microwave. Definitely won't be Samsung. The matching oven, dishwasher and refrigerator are also terrible. Problems with each one.

                                            only had it about 3 years and i shouldve taken it back at the first sign of trouble but we bought a full samsung kitchen and wanted to keep the same look. it started with the number 7 constantly showing up. next was the vent, i’d wake up in the middle of the night to hear it going on high with no usage. the final and killer blow was during use it started smoking like the unit was on fire so much so that it set off our smoke detectors in multiple rooms. i love samsung all other appliances and tvs are samsung but the microwaves need work. hope there are new models without the issues coming out.
