Door is not reversable as advertised.
Although this fridge has been great for the past few years, we recently moved and needed to reverse the door. Following the instructions in the manual, we found that the bottom hinge only has the holes for a right swing door, we have no way to reverse it because we cannot change the hinge pin over because the left swing holes in the bracket are not there.

    Disappointed with some features
    I was very excited to be replacing my old, inefficient refrigerator. I really wanted to love this new one. I had not seen it in the store, but I looked at online photos carefully to compare it to other models. I didn't care about the "Stainless Steel" finish but wanted a black model, so I went with the black stainless. (I put "stainless steel" in quotes because it is not real stainless steel. True stainless steel is not magnetic, yet the fridge door is magnetic.) Regarding the features: 1. It is dark. The light is positioned in the front, which casts shadows towards the back. 2. The shelves are adjustable, but there are not many height options, so I have really had to change the way I store my food, and I'm not thrilled with the arrangement. 3. The facade of the fridge is FLIMSY and SCRATCHES EASILY. We had to reverse the hinges for our space, and, in the process, the freezer door got scratched badly from an object that was not very sharp. Now my brand new fridge has major (albeit cosmetic) damage. I suppose the plus side of the magnetic surface is that I can now hide the scratches behind magnets and papers.

      Not cold enough...
      From day one this fridge doesn't cool like it should it! Even at its max settings the fridge temp ranges from 39-45 temp swings and this is with no one opening it for over 12 hrs. The lighting is very poor and it doesn't shine inside the fridge just at the front of the shelf leaving it dark inside. The shelf's fog up if the door is open for more than 30 seconds at a time making it even harder to see inside the all ready dim fridge. As for the color the black stainless is GRAY not black like other brands. Last time I but a new model with out seeing it in person..

        I am firmly convinced that whoever designed this fridge has never used a fridge. The shelves and and the spacing is absolutely terrible. If it wasn’t such a hassle I wouldn’t return it. Works fine., design is bad

          Poor lighting wish I could trade it in!
          This is the darkest lit refrigerator I’ve used and everyone comments the same thing. You need a flashlight to see what’s on the back of shelves. GE has bright well lit units as well as many other brands!

            VERY DISAPPOINTED
            I gave it one star because its a beautiful refrigerator/freezer, unfortunately it never worked! We plugged it in and the delivery guy said it would be approximately 4-8 hours that it would take to get cold, so I went on with my business. unfortunately it never got cold… All my food was spoiled! Unfortunately, I arranged for my old refrigerator/freezer to be hauled out upon delivery, I had nowhere to put my food. It took 3 1/2 weeks to finally get a new working refrigerator/freezer in my house. It’s been over a month that this happened and I am still waiting to get reimbursed for this!! Very DISAPPOINTING HOME DEPOT..

              Running good today, but no confidence in product
              Buyer beware! I'm getting conflicting warranty information, even though I just bought mine 6 days ago brand new in un-opened box, when I registered it today (Jan 03 2023) my product shows a highlighted Manufacturer Warranty Expires on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. A separate Warranty Tab when selected shows the standard One (1) year parts and labor Five (5) years parts and labor on Sealed Refrigeration System Only (Compressor, Evaporator, Condenser, Drier, and Connecting Tubing) Ten (10) years part and Five (5) years labor on Digital Inverter Compressor Only, etc. ... BUT I could not get an answer to why the Automatic "Expires 31 January 2023". So far today the Fridge is Nice, and working great, but Now I am worried about the "What If ... Happens" and when? Now I am not comfortable with my purchase, so just Beware!

                  We called for service because the ice maker and freezer stopped working and service came out twice and did not fix the problem now they refuse to fix our frig do what do we do. I will never shop at home Depot again they don't honor their wattenty Sincerely Sherry lavalley

                    Disappointed, Do Your Research
                    Didn't realize that it was so basic. It is noisy (strange noises), & there is no way of knowing what to set the freezer & fridge at without annoyingly having to purchase a thermometer & monitor it . And even so, not know because it fluctuates. I still don't know whether to turn it up or down.

                    This is a nice fridge. The doors don’t close on their own so it’s easy to have them left open unintentionally, even when you try to close them but don’t use enough force. The top drawer within the fridge section does not open very far and is difficult to load with groceries or to just pick through what you have on that drawer.

                      Poor insulation leads to constant knocking noise
                      After having this refrigerator in the house for two, we ended up calling an authorized service to come out and determine why we were hearing a constant knocking noise coming from the back. As soon as he looked it, he said that the knocking is due to the thin level of insulation in the back and that there’s nothing he can do to eliminate it. Had we known this, we would have purchased a different refrigerator.

                        I like the refrigerator and it works well, good shelving and quiet. The big problem is the stainless steel is thin and dings from practically just touching it. I would pay more money for a better quality stainless steel as this fridge is only two weeks old and has two ding already and there is no kids or animals in the house and we are not in any way rough on it. This refrigerator will soon become a spare in the basement as the dings ruin the look of my otherwise new kitchen. Very disappointed.

                          Very quiet
                          works well and makes a great shop fridge. freezer works 2 ways, a nice option.

                            Ample Storage & Twin Cooling
                            We bought this fridge a couple of years ago. We were working in a small space, but needed ample storage and this fridge has worked perfectly. The slide out panty drawer and drawers at the bottom keep our produce and meats fresh but my favorite feature of this fridge however with the twin cooling. It is so handy around holidays when we are hosting to be able and convert our top freezer into a fridge to hold prepped dishes or drinks

                              AVOID THIS ONE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! If I could give it a ZERO I could. The flex zone is rarely in temperatures that are safe for food. It spends hours in the Food Safety Temperature Danger Zone and rarely dips drops into a food safe temperature range. 47 degrees and Samsung says it is working okay????? In what world?? Very upset!
