Brought it home and plugged it in…digits on time remaining light were inoperative. After two months…several lights on cycle dial illuminate making you guess which cycle is really on. Otherwise works fine.

This dryer broke down on me and I haven't even owned it for 2 years! I purchased the 3year protection plan but now Asurion, the company that handles The Home Depots protection plans, is trying to get out of providing the full refund, which they stated would be given since the machine is non -repairable. Save yourself some time and frustration...don't buy Samsung. And if you do, go to Lowe's.

Love my new washer. Well built and has a large cylinder for washing. I wish it could be quieter, but I love it.

I thought my laundry was getting clean until I used this washer, I am really happy with it so far.

This is a lovely big machine which operates quietly, and has loads of nice options. However, temperature selection is not one of them. Most clothing manufacturers recommend drying at LOW heat to better preserve fabrics and extend the life of the garment. However, that is not possible with this machine. For almost all load types, the temperature has been programmed to the High or Medium level, with no ability to choose Medium Low, Low, or Extra Low settings. One must choose the Timed Dry setting to get the Low temperature, just like dryers in the 1970s. The 'Delicate' selection is programmed at Extra Low - all other types of loads: towels, permanent press, jeans, etc, are limited to High or Medium heat. That is a very disappointing design flaw.

Getting to the temp/time/cycle I want can be annoying because I can't just press the button to choose my selection - I have to push the same button multiple times until my selection is highlighted. For example, I want to use Timed Dry for 20 mins. When the Timed Dry cycle is selected, it defaults to 30 mins. I have to push the Time button four times (to 40, 50, 60 before it gets to 20 mins). Same with the dryness level and other options. Just inconvenient when you're in a hurry and accidentally miss your setting and have to start over again. Dryer does run quietly but you can't turn off the sounds (when pressing any buttons or the song played when the cycle is finished. Service required after only six months of light use (one to two loads per week).

This dryer exceeds my expectations. I love the large capacity and de-wrinkle feature, makes drying clothes possible any time of day.

This dryer provides fast, quiet drying performance, and the steam cycle is good for getting out wrinkles.

I love the features, especially the steam settings. I have used the "refresh" several times and am pleased with the results. I also like the dedicated water line as opposed to having to refill a reservoir. Highly recommend.

This dryer is perfectly for the people with a very busy lifestyle,it is totally efficient and believable.

Had it for about a month so far and we have had no issues at all. It has been absolutely great. Love the machines.

This machine is too complicated and has too many choices, all about the same. It matched the washing machine we purchased is the only reason for buying. I do not like the fact that the machine will not run even though I want it to. If it thinks the clothes are dry it keeps cutting off. I do not like any technology that over-rules what the person running it wants. Samsung needs to go back to simplicity with efficiency.

Samsung repair techs have been out to try and repair our brand new dryer 4 times now. The dryer runs through the pre-set time and just before turning off, the machine adds between 20 and 40 additional minutes. After an hour on high heat, clothes should be dry. But not with this dryer. Towels were taking over 3 hours. Even when clothes were finally dry, machine did not sense they were dry and would not shut off. Samsung repair ruled out it was not the duct work. They cleaned the sensors. They even replaced the mother board but still machine is not working. Samsung would still not replace the dryer. And they did not care, were rude and would not return calls. Finally, The Home Depot store 1528 near Southlands in Aurora stepped up to the plate. They agreed to pick up the Samsung machines and not charge us a restock. We just bought a Maytag Bravos XL and can't wait for the delivery so we can try them out. The store told us about many Samsung complaints. Our neighbor told us about a Samsung TV warranty issue he had. So never again will we purchase Samsung.

I would purchase this product again. One of the fastest dryers I have owned. Be aware the Steam Option does not product steam, it superheats content and sprays a fine mist of water into the drum and tumbles until contents are dry. I agree with Consumer Reports, the Steam Refresh options tends to produce someone more rather than less wrinkled items. Have not own the product long enough to comment on energy efficiency.

Eliminate the steam hose hook up and replace it with a reservoir you fill. Just another chance for a problem down the line if the hose leaks or breaks not a good mix with 240 volts and water. I do not like how the light inside the dryer will not come on when you open the door. When I open the door after the dryer is finished the light will not come on automatically. You have to turn the power button back on , open the door, then the light will come on. Then you have to power the dryer back down again when you are done. They Should have made it like a light inside a refrigerator, auto on auto off when door opens and closes. My old dryer did this and I miss this simple feature that you did not give much thought to until you lose it.

Very fast and quiet drying, filter cleaning reminder is very helpful and it looks great in the laundry room.
