The lint trap cracked after some use. What’s the replacement part number?

Samsung quality is well below just a few years ago. My expensive dryer lasted 5 years and the drum cracked. This type of product should last twenty years, but this is not the only recent Samsung product failure I have experienced. Last Samsung product I will ever buy - a thousand bucks wasted.

This is our first dryer to require a water connection! The MultiSteam functions inject water to sanitize and un-wrinkle clothes. The SmartThings App talks to both your smartphone and companion washer. The Refresh and Wrinkle Prevent cycles are genius!

My old dryer still works, but it was time for something new. But with newer tech, this one is a dream. It sends an alarm to my phone and samsung tv when the job is done. Its sleek & modern and meets all of my expectations. with this purchase!

new dryer installed by samsung on nov 10 th 2020. on nov 23rd, i called samsung to schedule a repair on my 13 day old dryer. loud grinding metal scraping sound and a smokey smell when the drum is empty. i called customer service nov 23rd for repair. nov 27th the company techno tv did not show, i called to schedule a new repair with rr appliance, they did not call or show on dec 1st, i called again and now have lake electronics assigned to come dec 10. i will go 19 days without the use of a brand new dryer.

i really have no complaints about these appliances other than i wish the smart control could work better with thr manual controls. i'd like to be able to initially program the units from the panel, then still be able to fully control by smart control from my phone afterwards. but really an inconvenience more than anything. the design of both is simple, yet elegant. the color (i have the black versions) is beautiful. the controls from both the unit's panels and smartthings is easy and intuitive. and i've had no issues with functionality. if having to push one button (and a guided walkthrough in the app) by yourself is the reason you give a poor review, please stick to washbasins and clotheslines in the yard (replying to a poor, prior review).

Quiet/ beautiful finish

Have been using it for over a month, This dryer does a nice job of drying. Like that I can hook up the bixby to my smartthings app to get notification my dryer is done and the done jingle always makes me smile. The sanitize option seems to work and there are a lot of different feature settings for drying. The only minor nuance is that the vent lint is sometimes hard to put in the slot and gets caught.

Very nice quality. Color is very nice as well. Spacious, quiet. Have wifi and connect easily to home network and Samsung smart things app. Has a center outlet i the back instead of offset(best scenario for my application)

Great dryer for that money. Huge capacity and energy efficiency. The only problem is construction of air filter. It made of plastic and you need to be very gentle to clean it every time, it bands very easy.

Its fine. But -2 stars for the insanely poor design of the filter housing. It literally is bending plastic every single time you clean it. Mine is less than a month old and you can see the plastic deformation happening already! What idiot engineer thought this was a good idea??? I am an engineer and this is shameful and embarassing. This product deservers a recall for this single mistake or a properly hinged upgrade to be sent to every person who ever bought one.

This new Samsung dryer is much more fun to use when compared to my previous dryer. Just load the dryer and operate it right from my phone. I like the smart function in this dryer. It has many settings and various levels of temperature too. Dries out my clothes quickly and saves energy too. Make sure you remove the lint before you load. My previous dryer took two to 3 cycles to dry out but this washer does an amazing job just in the first cycle . I like the quick dry setting if I have less clothes. The capacity of the dryer is good holds a lot of clothes just in single load. My clothes come out dry, clean wrinkle free and also smelling good. It fits my sheets and king sized comforter in a single load . It’s definitely more efficient and energy saving when compared to my previous dryer.

The dryer is amazing. It dries the load in one cycle. So many drying options too. Best part is the wifi option so we can set the dryer to start even if we are away from home. It’s also very very quiet. If it weren’t for the music it plays at the end, it’s easy to forget you have a load in. The steam feature is amazing, no more dry cleaning for me!.

There is definitely a thing with the new drying technologies that I see a difference in the clothes. My clothes are not just dry but have a freshness that my old dryer didn't have. The noise level is considerable low compared with the previous products I had. The steam cycle and wifi connectivity was a luxury to have, and now I seem to be using those more and more!! The refresh function is very helpful when you need to quickly refresh your clothes. I normally used this function for my kids clothes. It is very quick and easy and I manage it through my phone via smart app. I have a samsung mobile and they connect very well. There are other customizable dry cycles that you can download and I was very impressed with it.

The Samsung Smart Dryer gives the job done in much less time. There is a a fun tune that plays upon completion of cycle. Grabbing the laundry at that time means a fresh, clean load that is ready to hang/fold with no wrinkles. Even if you miss the cycle bell, a quick refresh and the laundry is set. There is a setting for everything whether it's a quick small load, a full oversized load or doing bedding. The dryer is very intuitive and adjusts settings to best suit the load you have placed in. Besides working superbly, the machine just looks great sitting there. High recommendations to add this set to your home!

The Samsung Smart Dryer with Steam Sanitize+ in black Stainless steel is pretty awesome to summarize my experience with it. Having 7.5cu ft really allows me to dry larger loads, and allows me to wash my bedding with ease. The Steam Sanitize function is awesome. Being able to rid my family’s clothes of pollens and allergens really helps, as my kids suffer with allergies and asthma. We incorporated our Samsung dryer into Smarthings as well. Having the ability to start/stop and view cycle alerts are definitely a plus. This dryer has so many options it took several days to test them all out. I think this Samsung dryer is perfect for all families.

With this new Samsung dryer you will never have this problem! Is drier has a damp setting so it will alert you and make sure to keep going so that your clothes are always dry when you go down to pull them out. You can hook the dryer up to Wi-Fi, and then have control over it from your phone!! This is so incredibly cool expressione now days where everything is becoming smart, this dryer does not disappoint Samsung has absolutely integrated their dryer into a smart home system. They also integrated Bixby Into the dryer! It has an incredibly cool steam sanitize cycle, with 4 kids and dogs in my house this has come in incredibly handy, And the clothes come out feeling fresher! Another really cool setting is there air fluff, It's essentially a 20 minute setting and it's literally like your clothes are being fluffed by air. The lint grabber is absolutely fantastic and so easy to pull out and grab all the lint out of unlike most other dryers out there. Over all if you are looking for a new dryer, This is absolutely the one you should go for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the matching Washer, I am huge fan of the design for this dryer. The fingerprint resistant coating is great for keeping things clean but one of the biggest design features that you get with the dryer is the ability to change the way the door opens. So if your door opens up and swings towards the left but you need it to swing to the right, you can simply remove a few screws and swap the entire door to the other side. Even though its easy to do, i recommend having a Samsung professional take care of this for you.Its a great feature though. The other life saving feature for me is the ability to use the steam sanitize and refresh cycles to help freshen up and de-wrinkle some of my shirts. In fact, i haven’t had the need to touch an iron after using these cycles. My clothes come out perfect with little to no wrinkles what so ever. This laundry is saving me loads of time on ironing. Speaking of time, i usually tend to forget about my clothes once i put them in washer or dryer and i cant tell you how many times i have had to re wash or dry my clothing but with the smart features and notifications that get sent your phone, that is no longer an issue. Being able to start and stop loads via the smart things app or by asking bixby has been a life saver and seeing how much time is left or getting a notification ensures that i never have to re wash or dry clothes ever again. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, let me start with this, I am loving the smart features of this Dryer: I've always struggled with leaving my clothes in the dryer for a loooong time after the cycle was finish, my last dryer had the wrinkle prevent feature on it but, activating this feature meant wasting a lot of electricity as I'd come to realize that the clothes were in the dryer after days, yes, DAYS! Even though wrinkle prevent doesn't stay on for long periods of time, imagine all of the electricity wasted during all the years I had my dryer... :( With my Samsung smart Dryer, it will notify me on my phone when the load is ready, and you can even set it to receive more reminders throughout the day until you take the clothes out of the dryer! And, if you are not able to take the clothes out, you can always set wrinkle prevent straight from your phone or a quick warm up before you take it out, NICE! It can also monitor the amount of electricity you have used daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly! And lastly, something wrong with your dryer? You can do a diagnosis of the dryer straight from your phone, super cool! I'm also loving the lint trap of this washer model, I'm pretty sure there will be no clogs on the ducts! And if there are any, it will also give you notification, haven't seen this as, like i said, lint trap is great! And who doesn't like staring at their food while it's cooking in the oven? Well, now you can stare at your clothes while they're drying inside! As you can turn the light on with a touch of a button, it's great! A small feature that you will have never think of, and it comes very handy! My verdict is: Is it worth the upgrading from a non-smart dryer? DEFINITELY!

I hated my previous dryer as it took a long time to dry the clothes and i had repeat the cycles many times it was not only time consuming but also wasting energy. Luckily this new Samsung dryer is my best solution,. The clothes get dried out quickly and i love the auto sensing feature in it... Its quick and also energy saving. You can control the dryer right from the phone with the smart things app. Samsung has really made my job easier. After the drying cycle i hear an alarm which is great. Love all the 9 preset cycles. Meets all my drying needs. The dryer is black stainless steel which looks modern and nice. Design is perfect. Very less noise. Its Bixby enabled. We are almost a samsung family now with all samsung appliances. My clothes come out Crisp,fresh and also wrinkle free with this new dryer... The drum light helps me to unload and load the clothes. The dryer lint removal is very simple and easy. The dryer also has a child lock which is a great safety feature if you have kids.There are 4 Dry Levels, Very Dry, More Dry, Normal Dry, Damp Dry. The clothes are getting dried so fast when compared to my old dryer .i am enjoying my laundry time these days unlike before.

The dryer has cycles for every laundry situation, like steam sanitize which applies steam at a high temperature heat to fabrics to make laundry soft and reduce smell, air fluff cycle dries at room temperature air, refresh cycle smooths out wrinkles and reduce odor by spraying out water while tumbling laundry in heat and it has a downloaded cycle which allows you to download the smartThings app to select other personalized cycles. One of the best things about the dryer is smart care which is a feature from the smartThings app when the dry detects any issues you can use the app and the app will tell you the diagnosis and provide solutions. What I use most on the dryer is the child lock feature because the dryer is a front load and I have two small children. I like a lot of the features on the dryer and I used most of them, but you will never get bored with all the personalized features of this dryer and recommendations in the manual.

Hands down impressed that it dries everything with no wrinkles and it does not have everything burning hot when you pull your clothes out. It is quiet and powerful. Love the look of it, but more impressed that it is quiet and has a multitude of choices to dry your clothes. Delicates came out nicely done with no wrinkles and did a mattress pad in the half the time that I normally needed. Quite impressed. Love Samsung, as their products look sleek, have great tech panels with lots of choices, gets the job done, but just goes a step further with a little impressive bit with drying things perfectly. The Samsung dryer has so many options and features; it’s a tech lover’s dream. Its beauty stands out from all other competitors. I performed various load tests and times and was thoroughly impress at the level of cleanliness and consistency of freshness of my family’s laundry. Having multiple drying cycle options, took me 2 weeks to test each one. I was also able to reverse the opening of the dryer door. This was a very easy and simple process. Some cool and useful features are: *Steam Sanitize+ - This is really useful to rid our clothes of dust mites and pollen. *7.5 cubic feet – Having this large drum space allows more room and less loads of drying. This has greatly reduced our laundry times. *Smarthings Integration – Remote Start/Stop, Scheduling and adjusting drying times. I really enjoy being able view the status at any time from the comfort of the Smarthings App. I would definitely recommend this feature rich Samsung smart dryer to anyone who loves technology and likes reduced laundry times with Quick Wash and Sensor Dry options. I bought this several years ago and it has squeaked since I got it. It plays music way to much and it's interior light goes off way too fast. Now after several years, the drum has a crack in it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Dryer stopped heating after 1.5 year only, what a waste.
