I have had this dish washer for less than 3 years. We purchased it when we remodeled out kitchen...
I have had this dish washer for less than 3 years. We purchased it when we remodeled out kitchen. I just had to have the service people out for the THIRD time for a LE leak code popping up on it. This includes the fun of actual leakage from the bottom side of it which has damaged the cabinets which area surrounding it. What's worse is that the service technician doesn't seem to be able to diagnose where the leak is coming from so just left, and now I get to wait for it to leak again... and HOPE they can find the source of the leak. It has the third top tray for utensils and such, but if you have tumblers or any taller glasses for the top shelf you'll end up pulling the top tray out for vertical space. This dish washer has been an utter failure and disappointment. The only thing possibly more disappointing would be the service I have received through the "Protection Plan".     Not good!
    I purchased this VERY EXPENSIVE dishwashing on 11/2/14 and today is 12/5/14. I just had to complete a "Service Request" as we are getting an LE code and the dishwasher has been out for 2 days. Pretty dissapointing considering how much we paid for this unit.

        Been Happy. Bought back in 2015. Never had a single issue until 2022. Can't get waterwall to move anymore after several parts replacements. Luckily covered under home warranty program. Now we are looking to replace with an updated newer model.

          i've bought samsung frig, range, microwave, dishwasher and had their phones for the entire family. every product had to have some kind of service, not once but 2-3 times for certain items. i'm very disappointed as now for our kitchen looks like for the dishwasher it will be another brand and that upsets me. my dishwasher is the chef collection, supposed to be the best one. 3rd time it needed repair.

            less than 4 years and makes a terrible noise, does not clean, smells. do not purchase or spend money for this! going to have to replace and will purchase different brand and cheaper one.

              This is the worst dishwasher anyone could own. If the bar at the bottom isn’t clipped on as it comes off every time the rack is pushed in the water leaks out over the kitchen floor. Utensils come out not clean and have to be rewatched. It’s very badly designed and things don’t fit in properly. It’s only good feature is its quiet and looks nice. I would rather have an appliance that works well instead of a fancy blue light and a musical ending on the cycle. Will never buy your dishwashers again. Stick to TVs. Definitely not worth the price.

                    Price is high. Cleaned fine. Worked for 2.5 years and then broke. No power to control panel, so dead in the water.

                      The water wall bar stopped working after only 2 years. It is a common problem - so common that the technician knew what the issue was before he actually turned the dishwasher on. It boils down to the water wall bar needing a second magnet. So, my dishwasher doesn't work because Samsung went cheap - yet charges a premium.

                        Great dishwasher but not for long
                        I loved this dishwasher for the first year or so that I owned it. Then it started making a strange, intermittent sound. Sound grew louder, like gears grinding. Turns out it is a very common problem with the water wall motor and arm, and quite expensive to repair. When I paid top dollar for this top of the line model I thought it would last more than two years. I was wrong. Won't make that mistake twice. I will never buy another Samsung dishwasher, or any appliance they make.

                          Does not clean dishes
                          I liked the design and it is quiet. I don’t like that when I open to load it, I always seem to hit the start button on the touchscreen. The middle rack sticks in the back and glasses fall over from pulling on it every time I add more glasses. Dishes on the bottom rack fall over when I pull it out to add. I’ve never had this kind of issue with a dishwasher. Most importantly, many times dishes don’t come out clean even using the longest cycle. Dishwasher always has a terrible smell. Not worth the money. I had an old dishwasher when I moved in and it did a much better job. I have the washer/dryer and they have been great!

                            Do not purchase Samsung products. I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher, and 9 months into the warranty period, I needed service. Samsung could not provide a service company to repair my dishwasher, which was under warranty. Mind you, I do not live in a small town, I live in a community of approximately 75K, and yet, Samsung cannot or will not repair my dishwasher, which is still under warranty. They have offered to refund my money, but I've been waiting for the refund for about 6 weeks now, and the Samsung service folks, cannot or will not tell me when I can expect to receive the refund. So, I'm stuck with a dishwasher that doesn't work, and don't feel I can replace it until I receive the refund from Samsung. I would not recommend purchasing Samsung products as they don't stand behind their appliances with service, even for an appliance under warranty.

                              LOVE this dishwasher!
                              This is the best dishwasher we have ever had! Of course at its price, it better be the best. We've had it for a little over 2 years and it works just as well as day one with zero problems. It's very quiet and can only be heard if it is silent in the house (so not very often). The top rack is adjustable in height so you can wash taller items in the bottom. It has the waterwall to get the bottom clean and another spinning water bar to get the top clean. The flextray at the very top is perfect for cooking utensils and cutlery. You can wash just one half of the dishwasher too, just the right, just the left, or even just the top or just the bottom. It comes in handy when you only have half a load but need to get the dishes done. The timer at the front of the display is handy also. It'll add or subtract time as needed. I really love all the features of this dishwasher.

                                    Ultra quiet dishwasher
                                    When this thing is running, you'd be hard-pressed to know it. Dishes have come out very clean, and for the most part dry. The convection drying is a bit of a surprise after my old dishwasher (which had a heating element) but I understand that convection drying is how the new units get EnergyStar rated. Rinse-aid makes a BIG difference.

The first one was covered because it quit draining in Feb. of 2016 didn't even make it a year. Samsung was sending someone in 3 weeks to fix it. I ordered the pump and my husband put it in. I called them back and told them I couldn't wait 3 weeks and they did send me a spare pump. Now during Christmas of 2016 the pump is out again. As much as it cost you would think it would have lasted more than a year and a half. So now I guess we will use the spare pump and my husband will fix it and I'll use it until I have time to research a much better dishwasher and I can almost bet it won't be a Samsung.

                                            I am very disappointed in the performance of this dishwasher. If there is ANYTHING on the dishes or utensils, it is still there when the cycle is done. I have to make sure what ever goes in, is cleaned off before it goes into the dishwasher. Definitely not worth it for the price. I haven't even had it a year, and I can't wait to get rid of it.

                                                Expensive dish wetter
                                                Bought and installed this unit on a Saturday and ran a cleaning cycle with no issues. Both my wife and I were really impressed at how quiet it was. Monday night, we loaded up and ran it over night. The next morning I noticed that the dishes inside were wet but still dirty, so I thought that maybe I had forgotten to put a detergent pack in. I did this and started the cycle again. That afternoon, I noticed that the detergent pack was gone but the dishes were in the exact same state that I left them in that morning. Frustrated now, I reset the unit and run another cycle. Upon finishing, 3 cycles later my dishes are still filthy. I am an engineer who has years of experience in manufacturing, so I understand that defective products occasionally make it to the end user. But after reading over 50% of this unit's reviews calling it out as complete garbage, I am taking it back to the store and buying something else. Disappointing because it was literally the most expensive unit available, I just assumed it was for a reason.

                                                    Excellent Dishwasher - Not sure why all the bad reviews
                                                    Works wonders. This dishwasher is so quiet compared to my old one. I am so happy with my purchase and expect many years of worry free use. Installation was a breeze. I did purchase a warranty just in case. My rule is to buy them for electronics with moving parts, but hopefully I never have to end up using it. I'd highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone--the innovative design, quiet operation, and quality make for a nice addition to any kitchen. Ignore the negative reviews--I did and was pleasantly surprised!

                                                    stops in the middle of washing and the only way to restart it is to unplug it and start over, I think it a bad lock on the door . customer service is a joke. My previous Bosh worked 10 years without single problem. What a waste of money.

                                                      I don't know how to make it more clear than the subject line -- what a disappointment and waste of money this was. I had this dishwasher for two years and had to troubleshoot with a Samsung operator multiple times because of errors, then one day it just stopped working altogether. I had a tech come out and he thought that it was a defective computer board for which he ordered factory-direct parts and tried to replace and even that didn't fix the problem. Complete waste of $1000+ do not buy.

                                                        Not as good as I thought it would be
                                                        This dishwasher has a ton of features, but it doesn't dry very well at all. My favorite thing about it is how quiet it is. You cant even hear it when its on. another thing that disappointed me was the look on the inside after I run the dishwasher. The area where the soap comes out isn't rinsed well enough and leaves a film.
