Experiencing Leaking, Error Code and Streaking within First Month of Use
My beautiful Chefs Collection Dishwasher was installed in November 2014. The unit has the look and feel I desire in a dishwasher. Solid with Clean Lines.
Unfortunately, it has leaked onto my hardwood floors 3 times. On the 1st leak the unit displayed an LE error code. The leak appears to be coming from the the top of the unit near the handle. After the first leak, I called to have the unit serviced. A certified repair person promptly came to my home and tested the unit. It appeared to work fine during the repair call.
I used the unit again and it worked fine the same day. The following day , the unit leaked again from the same location near the handle. This instance the error code did not appear.
I tried the unit another time , and, again it leaked from the top of the unit. I cannot trust the unit to run unless I am watching it. The normal cycle takes 2 hours and 38 minutes so this unit is not working for me.
Additionally, each time I have used the dishwasher, the dishes have come out streaked even when using a rinse agent.
I am really disappointed because I really like the unit. It did not meet my expectations to basically have clean dishes and not ruin my hardwood floors. Not asking for too much.
I have a Samsung 55 inch smart tv (4 years old), Samsung refrigerator (7 years old) and Samsung washer and dryer (4 years old) and have had no problems with any of them which influenced my decision to go with the Samsung Chefs Collection dishwasher.

Horrible Dishwasher...won't work...constant "LE" code
Do not buy this dishwasher. It does not work. Look at the other reviews online...they have a sensor that gets wet then it thinks it is leaking and won't work.

Water
After three times during washing cycle, stops over and over and the water comes out at the front I had a professional clean the drain but still does the same.bouth it in sept.2014 and I can't use it

If water is leaking out the front of the dishwasher, it's possible the door isn't closing properly which may be caused by the middle rack not being aligned correctly. Please try adjusting the middle rack so it's locked securely in either the upper or lower position. This should enable the door to close securely so it's water-tight. Unhappy already.
I can't give a full review of this dishwasher yet. It was just installed 2 hours ago. But the reason I am extremely UNHAPPY is if I am paying $1500- for a dishwasher I would like a Rinse & Hold function. I fully understand this is a personal preference. I have used that function every day to rinse dishes from breakfast, and lunch... after loading the dinner dishes I run a full cycle. I take some blame, I should have researched more. But I assumed that a top of the line Samsung would have ALL functions not just some. Learn from my mistake, and research more. I was planning on buying all of the Chef Collection for the Kitchen, this has me now looking at other products.

Worst dishwasher ever owned
Purchased the dishwasher over 60 days ago and it ran a total of 5 times before breaking. When it did run there dishes were not even that clean. It is still sitting in my kitchen non operational. The door will not close but it tries to run with the door open! I have to turn the entire circuit off because it keeps turning itself on and trying to run with an open door. It is very very cheaply made. There is NO WAY this product cleans dishes like advertised in commercials.

If the middle rack is not aligned and pushed in all the way, it's possible the door will not latch closed properly, so the first thing to check is whether the rack is properly aligned and locked in either the upper or lower position. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service will be necessary.

Dishwasher does not work
I purchased this dishwasher over 60 days ago. I ran about 5 times and is still sitting in my kitchen not operating. When it did work it didn't even clean that well, I was highly disappointed. There is NO WAY this product cleans dishes like it is advertised to do.

Great looking dishwasher!
Beautiful look in my kitchen. My only complaint is loading it. This is totally on me. It has three racks and it takes a bit to arrange the dishes. Very quiet and easy to install. Def needed the installation kit even though this wasn't a new construction install. My husband did it without any difficulties.

Big mistake....
As with many others all over the Internet, this washer started leaking on the second week. By the end of the week it was leaking so bad that it would actually empty all the water in the machine on to our floor and continue to try and wash. We had to remove the power in order to not have the motor burn out.
After repeated attempts to get the door to shut tight, the door latch broke off! Home Depot has been less than helpful and simply forwarded us to Samsung support who then forwarded us to a local repair group. While they have been very helpful, in the end Samsung has no viable solution nor do they have any replacement parts available.
Until Samsung admits there is an engineering problem and provides a reasonable solution I would avoid this product line entirely. This is unfortunate as when it did work it was exactly what we wanted.

Very Poor Product
We replaced our Kenmore washer and thought we would try something new and unique. What a mistake. The tines to hold the dishes are poorly designed and plates keep falling over. The top rack for flatware, etc. is too close to the top sprayer and the rack gets caught, forcing us to manually reach behind and separate. What used to take several minutes to load the washer has now become an engineering challenge.

Great Dishwasher
This dishwasher cleans very well. We like the third top rack but have found that you have to be careful what you put on it as certain items don't get clean. Overall the quality seems good and we have had no problems, so far. It runs so quietly that you have to put your ear to the door to know it is on.

Best dishwasher ever
This is the best dishwasher we have ever installed. I really cleans everything without having to scrub the dishes first. we have put test after test on it and simply, it cleans. it is very quiet, sometimes I check it several times to make sure it is running. Drying, works, but you will have to hand dry some items still. remember this is a touch panel, NOT a push button, I say this because at first you have people trying to push their fingers through to select cycles, so I have to show them to just touch it and poof magic. The only problem I have had, and the reason I did not give five stars, is because a week after having it, the cycles stopped running complete and I would see the lights on the front flashing... I contacted Samsung techs, did all the test, and nothing worked... so they said they would send a tech... after a few days of waiting, I decided to try and figure out what was happening...the door won't stay shut,,, I pulled the unit out, took all the racks out, and now the door shuts perfect... I looked at the draw slides that the middle rack rides on, and it was not fully allowing the rack to close in... I worked it over and got it to move in and out correctly, put everything back together, and everything is perfect... Just register the product.. and if there is no code flashing, but the arrow and time remaining is blinking, then the rack is pushing the door open, easy fix...
