it was very essay to install love it

Installation was straight-forward and the manual provides a link for detailed, step-by-step instructions you can bring up on your phone and guide you through the entire installation. The only negative was I wish they would have added instruction to drill a pilot hole before screwing in the long screws for the strike plate. One of the screws got stripped by the time I got about 95% through and so I couldn't screw the bolt in all the way. Fortunately, I had a screw extractor handy in my toolbox but once I got it out, I couldn't install the strike plate since one of the two screws was now fully stripped. But once installed, the lock worked great. Very easy to program and assign custom lock codes for each member of the family. One thing I did learn is that if you have an Apple TV, you don't need to purchase the optional Schlage Sense Wifi adaptor as you can use you Apple TV as a hub so that you can lock/unlock your door from anywhere, even use your iPhone as a key to unlock the door before you even walk up to the front. This also makes it very convenient to check to make sure you door is locked if you don't already have it set to auto-lock. As some users have commented, the door lock is pretty loud when you lock/unlock it. It did startle us as well as our dog when we first installed it but you get used to it eventually. I am definitely happy with this lock and looks great on our front door.

Perfect for constant use

Love it! I’d never installed a door handle before and was able to do it relatively easy. I followed the video which made it easy to follow. My husband loves it too.

I appreciate controlling the lock from anywhere in the house. Grandchildren are young but know their numbers. The numeric lock lets them unlock the door on their own. I also feel safer knowing I can give the backup code to a dispatcher in case of an emergency.

I purchased this lock after moving to a new house and I had the same lock at my previous house. I love the ability to use the lock with Apple HomeKit and I have never had a problem with the lock. The keypad is durable and the battery life is more than sufficient. All around very satisfied with this lock.

We're very happy with this smart lock. So far, we have no complaints. Build quality is great. Security seems solid. Oh, don't forget to download the Schlage app on your smartphone because the lock ships with an older firmware and you need the app to update the lock's firmware.

This smart door lock and door handleset was simple to install and works very well. The sale price was great too.

Love this door handle -- it looks great!

We wanted a lock that would work dependably with Apple HomeKit. We tried other brands like Yale which failed after a year. We already had experience with Schlage smart locks, why did we try anything else? Installation is simple if you are relative handy. We learned our home builder cut corners on the installation of our original lock which required some extensive rework of the door frame. Not a problem of the lock, but be aware you may uncover other door problems. Works entirely as expected and we can be sure our doors are locked, even with forgetful teenage boy coming in and out.

It was a replacement for the original which lasted 17 years. Excellent product!

Schlage YouTube video instructions were terrific!

Too complex for installation. Thought I could have removed existing one and just install new one. Product was a nice door knob though.

Not happy with the lock at all. Doesn't work well with Siri and homekit

This item does NOT work with both alexa and homekit at the same time. It is one or the other. Nowhere in the manual or item description does it note this. Not even on the Schlage website. I spent big money on this for it to not work as advertised
