Used the Superservice 12/3 300 volts black flexible portable power wire to install a gate chain opener engine in my secondary home. The installation was done in six working hours with an assistant worker. The wire was installed through the Wiremold Cormate Cord Cover and PVC 1/2 inch tubing for a total of 18 feet long.

Great for project.
I needed a cord cover for an exposed piece of black electric wire from an electric fireplace insert. This was a great solution. I wrapped the wire like a bat or hockey stick grip. Looks great and blends with brick and baseboard.

Cylinder ID
I have used this tape to help identify our cylinders at work. It is easier for someone to see the tape and know what is going on than putting a label on the cylinder only to be told I didn't see that. This has helped us to identify the different types of LPG products coming in.

Color Code Use
Use various colors of electrical tape to mark different circuits in electrical/electronic work. Also as an identifier for the various cables running through wall to panel. Note the color/use on paper for reference to others coming behind my work.

3M Scotch 3/4 in. x 66 ft. Vinyl Color Coding Electrical Tape in Pink is a standard electrical tape that would have a lot of uses. You will definitely not be confused when you have a number of things already in black. I found it to be strong, but easy to cut and easy to handle. I like how the tape comes in a plastic container that will protect it from becoming grimy. 3M is a brand name that you can trust. I needed to repair a speaker wire that got a little chewed up, so I used this tape to do a quick splice. I am very satisfied with the performance of this product and can now enjoy my music once again.

This is Scotch brand professional grade vinyl electrical tape made by 3M. It is pink. It unrolls smoothly, wraps well, has the right amount of adhesion, and cuts and breaks easily. I have an old house so all of the wiring work was done with black electrical tape. I like to use different colors because it helps me to remember what is my work and what is original.

Scotch Pink Vinyl Electrical Tape; Plastic case keeps tape clean. Specified professional grade. The variety of colors is great for labeling and/ or color coding. We use to label storage bins. Tape adheres well without curling and is durable in garage seasonal temperature variations. Also used with permanent marker for labeling kids supply bins. 3M quality product.

This pink electrical tape from 3M is nice quality with good tensile strength for stretching for tight seals when using it as a wrap. The adhesive on this tape holds well without feeling excessively gummy. I like that the tape comes in a plastic box. The box protects the tape from getting the edges nicked up which can substantially weaken things. The box also keeps the tape clean if it’s stored in less than ideal situations. My daughters are looking forward to using this tape on their own projects and artwork.

Did some looking around and decided to use this product to complete my granddaughter’s homemade roadside emergency kit because it’s strong, yet easy to manage and has good sticking power without the excessive use of space required by a big roll of duct tape. It’s highly visible and is much easier for young hands to open, cut and use in emergency conditions.

The Scotch electrical tape works great and very versatile. I just used some to repair my broken plastic nut on the extension rod for my duster. Apparently I tried to tighten the nut while trying to lock the rod down and it split. I then used a toothpick to widen the gap of where the plastic nut cracked. I then added some glue, removed the toothpicks then used the Scotch electrical tape to Wrap it tightly. The tape has the perfect stretch and adhesive ability to help with my repair. I will also be using it in my basement for color coding my electrical wire.

The first advantage of this 3M electrical tape is that it comes in a plastic container which allows you to keep the edge of the tape clean, without a container, over time the edge of the tape often becomes very dirty. This electrical tape is great because of it's unique color which allows you to differentiate your wires easily. Being pink also allows you to write on the tape if you need to. This tape is very thin which makes it easy to conform around wires.

This electrical tape seems to be very sturdy yet still able to rip it or tear it by hand. Has great stretching ability and countless uses. It has great adhesion and enough stretch to securely wrap wires together. Some of the uses I That I have used are repairing insulating pliers where the insulation is broken or coming loose, Marking tracer wires within an electric Box, and marking my tools with a unique color so I get them back on a job site!

Scotch tape from 3M are tried and true to be durable and well, sticky! I am not an electrician, but I do know that this tape is effective to keep your cords from fraying. I use it to color code and protect my phone chargers. I love the soft pink color. There are other colors to chose from too. I also like the little case it comes in to protect the tape. This tape lasts even in the Arizona heat, when other tapes melt off. I highly recommend this product!

Product reviewed is pink vinyl electrical tape used for color coding. Product comes in a reusable plastic container which will keep it fresh. This tape is light weight and very easy to tear, and will stretch around small and large irregularities. The package indicates a strong adhesive and I agree that this tape should stay put, particularly when it is wrapped back around on itself.

Scotch Brand 3M Professional Grade vinyl Electrical Tape 35 in various colors. This tape by 3M does everything I need it to. Plus having tape in 2 or 3 colors plus black is very handy for keeping my job organized. Full disclosure: I was provided with a free sample of pink and gray for review purposes. I have no association with 3M or any of its affiliates. This review reflects my personal thoughts regarding Scotch Brand professional grade vinyl electrical tape and is not influenced by a couple of free rolls of tape. That said, I use approximately one sixty foot roll of electrical tape per year for general DYI projects which include both repair and new installations. Whenever I find myself at my local big box home improvement store to pick up another roll of electrical tape the same thing always happens. Should I buy the cheap no name brand and save 1 or 2 bucks or buy the “extra fancy” name brand tape. Some months ago I decided to research different brands. I found it very difficult to find valid studies or hard data in order to answer the question: cheap or expensive. I did find a Y-Tube video in which the reviewer attempted to test for heat resistance, stretch ability and breaking strength. While I applaud his attempt at a somewhat scientific approach none of these tests give light to which of his four brands were superior. Heat resistance testing was done by lighting them on fire. This does not mimic real life situations in which a slow heating of the wiring may occur prior to the circuit breaker shutting down the current. Breaking strength testing was very dramatic, but once again useless information for the user. When I tape up some wires I want the tape to snap cleanly with just the right amount of effort. Stretch ability was similarly tested in dramatic fashion. Here again I just want the tape to stretch to provide a nice tight wrap. It should stretch nicely and then break off cleanly at just the right amount of pressure. Stretch ability and breaking strength are certainly personal parameters. So how do I choose? I go with a high quality name brands like Scotch 3M general purpose or their professional grade tapes. I know that they have done extensive testing and have an excellent rep’ for their adhesives. I don’t have to worry that the tape job will become brittle over time or fail in any other fashion that is of consequence. So I recommend that you spend the extra buck for the peace of mind that a high quality name brand tape can give you.

This product is a great product. I love the color for color coding wires. It's great for insulating wires, wrapping outlets and switches and storing left over wire. This tape is stronger and more durable than what I have been using in the past. This tape is also great for securing wire nuts before placing them in a electrical metal box to prevent the from shorting out.

Like the other 3M Scotch 35 electrical tapes, this pink electrical tape is 7 mil thick PVC vinyl, durable, is flame retardant and remains flexible even years after applying to wire. The tape can handle temperatures is in the range of 32 to over 200 degrees farenheit I use the tape for marking and later identifying wire. See the three photos. This is great for multi-phase motor wire identification. I had 8 colors until this Pink tape became available. The adhesive adheres to the surface until time to remove it. The tape can be removed from most surfaces without leaving a residue or damaging the surface.

Once upon a time I used generic electric tape on my household electric wiring projects. Sorry to say that it was later in life that I discovered what a delightful world of difference it could make by using a premium brand - I now only use the Scotch professional grade electrical tape. In a nutshell, it’s super stretchy and doesn’t degrade. The cheap stuff isn’t stretchy and a year or two after use, it’s brittle - just what you don’t want inside an electric box.

Superior color coded vinyl electrical tape
I tried a white electrical tape that was made in China. It didn't stick well and became brittle. (see first 2 pictures) I bought 5 rolls of color coded 3M Scotch Vinyl Electrical Tape to replace the old tape. The Scotch sticks securely to plastic and is superior. (see last picture) Scotch is the only electrical tape I will purchase!
