I bought 3 bags of this grass, that would cover 1300 square feet. We had less than 1500 square feet to plant, we planted on fresh tilled soil, spread it with a Scott’s spreader. We had patches of grass starting to grow, after about two weeks. It has been six weeks and we still don’t have grass only patches. Very disappointed and expensive for not having grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has good a good germination rate and has a nice dark green color. I have always relied on Scotts products because they are usually of good quality. It is the reason I continue to use them in my yard.

I placed this seed in a place that gets probably 4 hours of direct sun and the rest 9f the day is mixes shade. Most 9f this did not sprout and I had to purchase a competitors product which worked much better and filled in the area. The area was basically dirt beforehand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this grass seed. Make sure to plant in the fall as there is enough water and not a bunch of scorching summer days. I did plant in the late spring and most of the new grass died in the heat and sun.

Recently bought what I thought was a bag of grass seed. Instead, I got fertilizer, fillers and a bunch of other things I didn’t want. The label states that you are getting 50% seed so that 16 pound bag (shrinkflated from 20) is really only 8 lb. Time to move on from Scott’s. Time to move on from what was a trusted company. Maybe this explains the 2% drop in sales for the 2nd quarter. Profit over satisfied customers!

I put this down over Scots seed starter soil a week ago, watered 1-2 times a day, temps have been optimal and nothing. Very disappointing, waste of effort time and money

I used this seed and it has filled my patches giving me a nice green lawn again. The seed does take time to begin to grow so patience is needed. Once it finally did fill in, the lawn looks great again!

I put this Scotts turf builder down with my kids right before it rained one day and what seemed like a very short time later we are get nice green grass back where it was lacking it. I'm sure I will have to get some mole traps to keep them away, but this turf builder is great.

Within a few warm days here in Pennsylvania this product appeared in the spots I repaired and now have completely filled in and the new growth in remarkable. I am totally pleased with the outcome of this mix and will purchase more of it when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Early spring and product arrived in time to do some repairs . Would like toi use the Rapid Grass but does not have a Kentucky Bluegrass Blend. This worked well and with Turf Soli is up and filling in .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Between our dogs and the winter months our grass is not looking that healthy we also have spots of dead areas this the first time I’ve tried the Kentucky Bluegrass mix and it actually works fast. We put some down two weeks ago when the weather was warming up and within a week we are starting to see fresh new sprouts and in the area where we put the grass seed you could see bright green grass coming through like it’s spreading throughout the grass. I’m looking forward to seeing a nice soft fresh green grass this summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beacause of the water rationing we have had out here in California I had a lot of bare spots in my lawn.This spring has been extremly wet so I was able to fill in a lot of bare spots. The grass has filled in and you cant even tell.

So i decided to put this to the test because im determined to get that spot like the rest of my lawn. Now i followed all directions the weather is nice here now. And I planted it and guess what little aprouts started coming up. Then all of sudden one day I woke and just like that it was basically gone. Its still a mystery to me. I definitely have mized feelings aboit this now. I will try planting this grass once more to see if i get anywhere..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a little slow to start, but boy did it grow well! I used starter fertilizer and watered 2 times a day for 5-10 minutes.. After that, I watered once a day with a movable sprinkler for another week and a half. Would buy this grass again.

Followed directions.Started spouting in about 5 days looks awesome and blends in with existing grass so well that unable to tell where the bad spots were. Definitely will use again.
