I am quite frustrated with this product. I prepared the ground with a Sun Joe Scarifier. Spread the see according to the instructions, added starter fertilizer as an extra precaution. Watered daily multiple times and the average temp was above 65 degrees. Nothing germinated. Not the front yard, side yard or the back yard. Not the first time Scott’s has let me down. I won’t be purchasing their grass seed again.

No sprouting
I thatched, aeriated, fertilized and composted. Spread sheet as prescribed, cover with rake, watered twice a day and after 8 days not a sprout! After all that effort nothing! I thought I had a chance to get a job on weeds; weeds love fertilizer and compost too; I will not use chemicals.

Planted in late September. Used Scott's Starter Fertilizer and watered twice daily. Next week the temperatures dropped and rained for five days. Mid October the seeds stated to spout, was informed to lay another layer of Starter Fertilizer and by the end of October I had one inch blades. It is now mid November and they are 1 1/2 inches.
