Works great. Love the lift away feature. The only wish I have is for the machine to have a place to hold the pet roller attachment.

Very good vacuum with practical features

I bought this a month ago after retiring the Hoover. Incredible power and yet, lightweight. Packaging was superb.

I love my Shark Apex! It cleans super well. It is a little difficult to maneuver, like it has a mind of it's own, at age 73, this is a little difficult for me.

Best vacuum I have ever owned! I love it so much I bought a second one so I have one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I have mainly hardwood floors - I raise dogs - I have grandkids - we live in the country with all the dirt that involves - This vacuum does the job!!! It’s very easy to use - very powerful - easy to clean - has all the great tools - and the lift away feature is the best! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Order yours today!!

You cannot beat this vacuum when it comes to performance and value and mist importantly, cost. The only downside is that it is impossible to use on stairs. You have to buy a separate attachment for the hose. Other than that, I really like this machine. I bought a second one so that I don't have to carry one upstairs.

Replaced a previous shark that was working flawlessly until I dropped it and broke the mechanism that locks it upright. However I really like the new beater bars and suction of this machine.

We were very satisfied with our last high end shark. This was a good Black Friday deal so I bought it. This thing is very heavy…much heavier than my last shark. My wife will not use it. That is very bad news for me. I greatly regret the purchase.

I bought this a month ago. I have both carpet and hardwood. I previously owned the shark professional vacuum and liked the cleaning power. My new Apex cleans well, has adjustment feature for hardwood, low carpet, and plush carpet. It also cleans ok as an edge cleaner when the nosel attachment is not used. The disappointment is the maneuverability (hard to steer)! The small brush attachment gets caught on the hose and is constantly on the floor. I would recommend this vacuum to someone and would purchase another Shark in the future.

Great suction power. Easy to clean container. Only complaint is the swivel is not as smooth as other vacuums I've used....little tight.

For almost 15 years I have been searching for a vacuum that would really clean my dark wood bare floors. This Apex Upright model picks everything up. Yay! I do have to say that I really like the way it cleans my floors BUT I have a lot of bare floor space and it gets heavy after a while. Not a light vacuum. I would, however, buy it again because MY FLOORS ARE CLEAN! LOL

I have house dogs so lots of dander and dust. This vacuum really pulls the dirt out of the carpets and is easy to go from hard floors to carpets with the touch of a button. I can lift off the canister part and do the steps easily. I like that the hard floor mode actually picks up the dust on the floor not just the obvious dirt. It took me a long time to decide on which model to get but I am very happy with this one. also like that while you are vacuuming it has enough suction to pull dirt in around the edges of what you are cleaning.

Old Shark died, new one is even better. Glad I stayed with the "Shark". Eats dirt and debris like it has been starved! Easy to clean, easy to use.

Took delivery a couple weeks ago - easy assembly, and pleased with performance.

Heavy, handle design is terrible hurts your hand and scraps your nuclear. Small dust bin only positive is the wider brush head. Terrible terrible design. Will be returning.

I bought one of these at a store and it cleaned better than my Filter Queen so I purchased another one so I wouldn't have to carry it upstairs all the time.

This is our third Shark vacuum and we love them, we upgraded to the new self cleaning brush and it works fantastic.

This product is good for my hard floors and takes dog hairs off my area rugs. It’s great item after going through 3 cheaper models it’s worth the price.

I’ve had this vacuum for a couple years. I’ll start by saying I have six dogs (3 big, 3 little) and three cats. And we live in the country with dust, dirt, pine needles.. you name it. This vacuum takes care of the hair no problem. I rarely have to cut anything out of it and there is never any issue with the long husky hair. I’ve tried a few lighter vacuums (this one is on the heavier side) and always end up grabbing my shark and re vacuuming. This vacuum has the best suction no doubt.

We love our new Shark vacuum and am amazed at the amount of dust and pet hair I clean out!!

I love this sweeper. Very convenient with everything on board. Easy to snap off canister and just use the beater bar to go under beds and furniture and do my steps. It is fairly light weight too. My only con would be that it is hard for me to steer straight. I am not as strong as I used to be which may be my issue.

I have had a Shark before and just got this one and was impressed with the improvements. One is the off button is right near your finger tips. The self cleaning brush is something new. The think what I like the most though is how much quieter it is. It only takes less than 5 minutes to put it together from the box. Also comes with a smaller pet brush good for furniture. What is not new but I love is the light that shines on the floor, I would miss so much pet hair if it didn't have this feature. Also the canister comes off for easy cleaning under your bed. I'm older and the weight is not too much to carry up the steps. It also has a HEPA filter built right in!

Disappointed that there is not enough room for all attachments to hook to the machine. And, wish there was a brush attachment for the hose. Other than that, we love the vacuum.

I followed a Consumer Reports recommendation and am very impressed. Our carpets look like new & it takes care of our cat hair issue. It’s well built, easy to use and the bag less container is a snap to empty.

I absolutely love the APEX DuoClean. There are so many wonderful features with it. The suction is by far amazing. I absolutely love the little "headlights" to help you see the dust better. The quality of the pieces/parts is very apparent. It does make the maneuvering and steering a little more difficult than the Navigator Lift-Aways, but I imagine it is due to the parts being of higher quality. It is super difficult to vacuum smaller items like small rugs or smaller detached couch cushions because of the powerful suction. It will lift them up. Those are probably the only two cons I have, but I think they're trades that are worth having the powerful suction. Highly recommend.
