I have this one ☝️ and it’s amazing so practical and the suction is super powerful

After having the vac 4 mos the motor head went out. It kept shutting off the vacum. When I called I was told I had to send a video of the vacuum which I did. Then they told me they would send a new head which they did. I have had Dysons forever and had one quit after 3 years. They sent me a whole new vacum withthout queston! My sister talked me into this Shark when my daughter used my Dyson and let it get stolen .Why didnt Shark replace this vacum? Because its a cheaply made piece of junk. Do not buy! They will not replace it if it fails. The warranty is not good buy a Dyson!

Vacuum lasted less than 1 month. Our house is mostly hardwood flooring. Buy something else. Absolute waste of money.

The Apex has quite a few upgrades and improvers over the already outstanding Shark LiftAway The air filter is much larger It rolls more easily on high pile carpet Bought direct and got a useful tool to clean under the fridge Lights on the wand and canister are bright The whole design is lower so it fits under the sofa and lies flat to get under the bed The no pet hair tangle on the roller brush is a great design feature

My old vacuum would push the dirt around and not really suck up the dirt. My APEX lifts the dirt and fluffs the carpet, makes the house look much cleaner. Even bought a vacuum for my sister

I’ve been using the vacuum for over a year. I mostly use on area rugs and bare floors. The eye catcher was the whole hair management roller the company pushed however I find the hair does wrap around roller and the comb in front of the padded roller catches everything and builds up. I have long thick hair. And not sure why any company would put out a vacuum hose as worthless as the one this vacuum comes with. It does not work as canister vacuum at all. The company should redesign a hose that actually stretches more than a couple inches and send to those of us who purchased this vacuum. I feel frauded on that alone. I also purchased the bag of attachments and find they do not fit very well and almost aren’t sized right. Most of the parts of the vacuum click together these slide in about a 1/4 inch and fall out once you begin to use. The suction is phenomenal. I like that I can take and wash under running water the dust cup and filters. Just make sure they are completely dry. The vacuum is kind of heavy to carry up and stairs to multiple levels. Mostly disappointed and mostly due to the worthless hose. For the price I was expecting so much more.

Needed to replace our 15 year old Dyson Animal and wanted to try something else and heard good things about Shark products. So far so good and hopefully the performance continues for years to come.

I got this vacuum about a month ago, and overall, I really like it. It works great on carpets, however most of my home is hardwood and tile.. with that being said, it is difficult to use on hard floors; it picks up debris, but takes some effort to make turns. Not too much of an issue, but not what I’m used to as this was never a problem with my old Shark vacuum. For the price, I honestly expected better.

I've used the Shark Apex now to vacuum the whole house. It has wonderful suction, a great-shaped sweeping head, is lighter and quieter than my wonderful old vacuum. Love the under-appliance attachment! But I'll have to learn just how Shark users vacuum under beds, sofas, chairs, etc. because there is no long enough hose or attachment to do that! Surely everyone isn't strong enough to move the furniture, or comfortable with leaving dirt under all of it!

I tried my daughter’s Apex and it was amazing! I love all of the features the Shark Apex has to offer. That being said, within the second time of cleaning, my vacuum stopped. I had to wait a minimum of 60 minutes before I could continue cleaning! After it started for the third time, I was able to finish cleaning. The vacuum does clean well when it runs. I have a scheduled phone call with customer service on Friday.

I just received mine last week! I immediately used it all over my house and it sucked up everything including all my dog hair!!! The only thing is when I turn it on theres the smell of something burning. Im not sure if this is normal but Im hoping it goes away because I love this vacuum!

I have been a Dyson user for the past 15 years and loved it but handed mine down to our daughter for her first apartment. Several of my neighbors have Sharks and love them so I did some research before jumping into another Dyson and found very high reviews on the Shark brand. This particular model rated high for pet hair and the other needs I was looking for. This purchase was about a year ago and I do love the power of the suction and several other features. Unfortunately that's all I love. The part that is so irritating is every time I use the hose the whole vacuum tips over. I'm only 5'1" so the thought of releasing & carrying the cannister to use the hose is very daunting. I had the vacuum about 3 months when I called Shark asking what I was doing wrong that it continually tips over. They said it shouldn't be doing that, they had me ship it back and sent me a new one. I really appreciated the service I was given, the rep was understanding & helpful. Unfortunately, the 2nd one does the same thing. Everytime I need to use the hose I run the risk of it falling into furniture or walls and causing damage & scratches. I'm so very disappointed in this purchase and the money spent on it!!

I bought this 2-3 years ago and it's still as awesome as the day I bought it. I hate cleaning and initially it was so awesome it made me excited to clean. That feeling wore off haha, but now my cleaning ladies love it! They all remark on how much it sucks up, and honestly I don't understand all the bad reviews. I don't have a single criticism, these people are just bitter.

So as normally shark products are it is a nice quality vacuum. There's a few flaws I feel Phil for one if you do suck up something big let's say a quarter or something like that you literally have to shut down the the machine and take out the been collector and dump it or get the quarter out just because it will continue to go around in there and make a bunch of noise. If you accidentally suck up a little piece of paper or something you have to shut it off and get it out of the bottom of the middle sucker because it is stuck. Also when you're in The mode where you're carrying the collapse in the collector but the wand is in the vacuum ahead, it's almost it's almost like there's not enough weight For the head to actually be useful

I bought this almost a year ago. I had a navigator before. I thought i was upgrading. I am seriously disappointed. I loved our navigator but hated cleaning the brush roll. With long hair and 2 dogs i thought i was making a great decision. I will never buy a shark again. It doesnt pick up like the navigator (which is half the cost)i have to go over the same spot multiple times. I have to clean the brushes every time i use it. I use it every other day. Major pain. It makes me sick to think how much i paid for this hunk of junk.

This vacuum does what it should as far as suction. But why on earth do they give you such a short hose? Any idea how often this tips over because you are trying to vacuum something like a car? It just does not reach a reasonable length, and who has the strength to just carry the top around while already exerting energy to sweep with the wand. I just honestly don't get it. Not to mention the long stift shaft is very awkward trying to bend in certain areas. Yes, sharks DO suck well, but they leave a lot to be desired for people who have health issues, and not a lot of energy to constantly stop the vacuum from tipping or becoming unstable. That is my honest review. Is there a soft extension hose? It would really help!

Bought this a few weeks ago. Love it so far. Easy to assemble. Really cleans good especially getting up all the dog hair. I’ve been using it almost daily since it was delivered. Great for carpets as well as tile floors.

I was VERY impressed with this vacuum! It picked up dirt, dust, pet hair...you name it, from way down deep in the carpet! My carpets even looked fluffier after one use! The ONLY slight negative is that it's a bit front heavy which makes it just a little hard to steer. I've only had my Shark vacuum long enough to vacuum once, so don't have a long term opinion yet, but so far it's GREAT! This vacuum was recommended by my son and he was RIGHT! It's an excellent vacuum!

This vacuum seems to have great suction but it does not turn as easily as my old Dyson ball did! And it’s heavier.

I purchased the Apex Duo for its anti hair wrap, HEPA air filtering, multi floor capability and high suction and I can say with confidence this unit hits the marks. Other manufacturers may have similar features, but not all in one unit. This unit blows the others out of the competition in my opinion!

We moved into a new house that has all tile flooring. We were looking for a vacuum that had great reviews for hard floors. This Shark did not disappoint ! It has great suction and love the dual action pick up. Only concern is I’m use to the cord on the right hand side of the body so it feels “ off” tossing the cord around with my left hand when I’m right handed. Also, the fabric brush dosent seem to stay in the holder very well. All minor issues and do not want to deter someone from buying this great vacuum

The Shark was recommended when I asked my friends on Facebook and one actually mentioned this model so I went with it. It's very awkward but does clean well. My favorite feature is the under appliance wand.

The vacuum picks up well, but the hose for the attachments is way too short, causing the vacuum to tip over easily and sometimes onto your shins.

Got this thing a few weeks ago and was disgusted by how much more dirt and hair and filth it picked up than my other vacuum. Did wonders on long human hair and dog hair!

I bought one a month or so ago and not impressed that one pays so much and attachment don't stay on ...not impressed with that at all

I've owned this for well over 3 years. It's a great vacuum. Picks up everything - runs well. Easy to empty dust bins.

Bought this model so we could take our 7 year old Rotator to our vacation home. Can’t say enough about how much we like this new one. Hair doesn’t build up on the rollers!!! Suction is a step above the Rotator. Really makes me question some of the less positive reviews!!! Only slight negative comment would be the stiffness of the house, but I’m sure it will relax some with more use. Just like the Rotator did. Great Job Shark!!!
