So far this is an excellent vacuum. I like how easy it is to assemble and also take apart to clean or use the wand. It is indeed excellent at removing pet hair. I'm a little worried how some of the plastic parts will hold up over time, but not enough to lower the rating.

I’ve only had it for a month or so but...
I’ve only had it for a month or so but I’m very impressed. Great suction and I love how you can adjust the suction power with the valve on the handle. Another big plus is how the roller doesn’t seem to get wrapped up with dog hair like our previous ‘pet’ hair vacuum by a different manufacturer.

The vacuums are used for my cleaning business. I have used the Navigator vacuums because of the light weight...making them good for vacuuming stairs. These last two seem to be a little noisier than my previous purchases. I have bought four within the last year and a half. My only dislike is the cords are a little stiff an could be a little longer. Also, the hose tends to crack and I have to use electrical tape to plug the gaps. So not perfect, but adequate for the task at hand.

This vacuum really sucks! The silicone roller brush pulls embedded pet hair out of the rug under the dining table that other vacs left, and the Missus loves the lift-away feature for cleaning furniture & the upholstery in our car. The canister could be larger and needs to be emptied more often, but overall, a superior machine.

I've had many shark vacuums and I have loved them...
I've had many shark vacuums and I have loved them all. Except this one.
When I put it together, it didn't pop right into place like most vacuums do.
The suction isn't great. It sounds like there's a leak.
I definitely don't recommend this model.

One of sharks worst vacuums
This vac was terrible and quickly returned. Ive only bought sharks for last 10 yrs,usually buying a little higher priced one, and I was very disappointed. The brush had more hair wrapped around it then any other and didnt work well on my carpet at all. Wouldnt spend 20 on it. Doesnt take long til needs dumped. Pay the extra for a good one.

Buy the vacuum! You won’t regret it!
I absolutely love this vacuum! I’m giving it 4 stars because the only thing I don’t like is the plastic piece that connects the hose to the handle. It doesn’t like to stay clicked in place. Other than that, which I can live with, the vacuum works wonderfully! I love that you can adjust the suction power and the pivoting action. I also love that you can remove the canister for harder to reach places and the brush is self-cleaning. I definitely recommend this vacuum!

This vacuum is amazing. I am so glad we purchased this vacuum because it picked up dirt that our other vacuum did not. After vacuuming our rug we now have the feeling of it being cleaned of debris because my grandson crawls on our cleaned vacuumed rug.
