I found this product easy to use. It comes in one huge roll, but it is lightwaight, so it can be moved around easily. It was easy to cut. The dimentions where great, since I didn't end up having to cut any filler peices. The foam has the right thickness for soundreducer underlayment. Make sure to is to pay attention to the square footage. I ended up ordering too much. I could have gotten away with one of their smaller rolls.

So far, this underlayment does what it's supposed to do, and the price was great! Very easy to cut and install.

We purchased this to go under our 12 mm laminate floors and could not be happier! Although it does come as one huge roll it is not difficult to maneuver in the average size room. The edges butted up nicely together allowing us to secure the seam with duct tape. For closets and smaller areas it is easy to cut a piece to size. We did not have problems with tearing from walking on the underlayment with socks on. The only tearing we experienced is when we would accidentally rub the top of the foam when we were hitting the block to secure the floor. We are extremely happy with our purchase as this underlayment is thick, a great value, and easy to work with!

I thought this product worked very well. Layed down easy, and when I rolled the large roll up to a wall, and cut it while doubled over, I was happy to find it only cut the top layer. Very please although only installed a week ago.

Def helps with the feel of the floor and noise absorption.

Worked very well for our project. Will use it for my next flooring project.

Really hard to get this to lay flat

So glad I found you could purchase this online. I only needed approx 1000 sq. ft. So this was more than enough but less expensive. It's great, floor is quite and comfortable to walk on. I would say it's a great quality product.

Buying the large 1300 sq ft was more cost effective than buying the needed 975 sq ft. Beware, it's a big roll! You will need plenty of room to roll out and cut. Be sure to have tape handy to connect rows.

Had no problems with this product. Read reviews about tearing, so I laid on section at time before moving on.

For the do it yourselfer or professional installer, this underlayment is perfect.

So far this is great. It is a great value and love that it was shipped to the house free. It was not hard to handle even though the roll is large. The floors have only been down a week but so far it's doing it's job.

first off, I would like to thank the associates at the milford , ohio home depot, for bending over backwards in assisting me with this product. this flooring went down great-with a few tweaks needed to make some pieces fit properly-it is a natural wood product after all. loved the service-love the product, will shop at home depot again..

I installed over 800sq ft of this underlayment so far and the only thing I would change about it is that I would really wish it had the ability to tape the underlayment together to prevent sliding. Outside of that, great product and would recommend.

Easy to put down, though I did not do the job myself, I know how and what to do.

I used this product after a lot of researching price and materials. Besides having to walk flat footed and not pivoting on it, it worked great. Having never done this type of work before, I used this underlayment for laminet flooring and finished 1500sqft. and it turned out great! Highly recommend this for large jobs, I had to buy a smaller roll also and that worked well for closets and halls.

Very good product, easy to handle and economical. Although it came in a big box I was pleasantly surprised to see it was only four foot wide.

I have no complaints about this product and still have a lot of the material left for other projects for the future.

I purchased this underlayment to install under Pergo Presto Salem Oak laminate. Our contractor found it easy to work with (some minimal tearing) and the price was easy on my budget. It reduces the hollow clicking noise you hear when walking in heels across a laminate floor, but doesn't totally eliminate it, which is what I expected for the price paid when purchased. If you have different expectations from mine with regards to noise, you might wish for a more expensive underlayment that offers better noise reduction, but you'll pay more and could still get a similar outcome to what this product offers. I am totally satisfied based upon my own expectations and highly recommend this product.

We replaced all the carperting in our upstairs with engineered hardwood. We figured it would be close to 1000 sq ft., so we ordered this BIG roll of underlayment. It was a little difficult to work with at first because of its size; however, it got easier. It seems fine...I don't have anything to compare it to. When we first got done, it seemed that when we walked on our new floor, there was a sound coming from the foam (like a crackling sound from the wood planks pressing on the foam)...this seems to have diminished now. We seemed to have a lot left over, but it definitely saved us money over buying individual rolls of 100 ft. each.

Blocks any sounds. Quiet to walk on. Easy to lay down. Product shipped quickly.

Looked and read about the other choices. This made the most sense; it is made by Pergo for their product. I was completely satisfied.

The Soundbloc foam underlayment is great to use. A negative would be that it does rip easily, so the need to be careful is a must.

The single roll of underlayment foam is more than enough to cover the (3) rooms that I plan on re-flooring. The package contents weigh less than 25lbs which makes it easy to handle while laying and delivery was within a couple of days from the date of order.

I am a bargain shopper. This product saved me $500 by covering the 1300 sq ft. I only needed 1000 sq ft worth. My flooring contractor will recommend this to all of his customers. Too bad they do not sell it in the stores. What a bargain and the product is excellent!!!
