Disappointed
Item arrived used and broken. Wires connecting the solar power screen to the pump was cut in two places. The small parts in a clear envelope was torn open and the pump itself was dirty.

Love this Product!
This is a Great product for the money! It gives me the relaxing sound of water, while attracting more birds to the birdbath. There are suction cups on the bottom of the pump to hold it in place, which don't work on my cement birdbath, so I stabilize it with rocks. I love the fact that you have different heads to choose the spray pattern, and an extension as to how high you want /need the fountain head to stick up out of the water! When I want it on, I just flip the solar panel facing up, and I flip it back over when I want to turn it off. You just have to make sure you have plenty of water in your container, so the pump doesn't burn out; if it is windy, the water will go up the fountain and out of the container.

solar water pump
The solar water pump works just fine as long as it's sunny out. (I wish there were one w/battery so it could run through the night.) I took it out of the box, put the solar panel on the ground and as soon as the sun hit it the pump started working. I now have a fountain in my birdbath.

I love it!
This works even on cloudy days, if the cloud covering is not too thick. Of course, it only spurts and doesn't fully spray the water, but it does keep the water "stirred up" to help it not get stagnant. On sunny days it works great. On windy days, I take off the head because otherwise it sprays water out of my small bird bath. I don't know about it's durability because I haven't had it long, but I am pleased and love the way the solar panel can be moved in order to catch the most sun.

Solarrific fountain pump
If you need something small and simple for a garden I would recommend this. It does need sun in order to operate. The instructions were not clear on assembly. Because of this it took time to assemble for working order. Within 10 days of purchase the pump quit working all together even though water was added daily and everything was cleaned several times within this period.

BAD SOLAR PRODUCT! NO NIGHT WATER TO HEAR OR VIEW. POOR QUALITY
This had almost no water coming up out of it. Only lasted with a water display that was not really noticeable unless you were right on top of it and nothing during the evening when you were sitting outdoors. I do not recommend this product at all. All my other solar products (lights, lanterns, etc.) last 6 to 10 hours into the night. Some even last till the following morning.

cheap & ineffective
The fountain must be placed in very shallow water in order to break a surface--but water that shallow evaporates quickly, so it's hard to maintain the proper depth.
The fountain stopped working after 2 weeks.

Works in the sun
I bought this to replace an electric pump for a small fountain. It works great in full sun. I would rate it a 5 if the adjustments were different sizes. I had to find an additional plastic tube to fit my fountain. The pump is strong on it's own.

Good Birdbath Fountain
There is no battery backup so the pump only works when sun is bright which is OK for my birdbath. It is a small, but quiet pump and adequate for small gardens/patios. Consider a more expensive battery model if you need constant flow or have too much shade.

The solar panel stand did not work
it does not work very well and is always getting clogged. The stand on the solar unit does not work and my husband had to tape it together

The unit pictured has a 110V handoff, but the unit that comes in the box does not.

Very tiny fountain
The problem with shopping online is that you can't tell what you are buying until it arrives. I wanted a larger solar fountain. This one works but it is a tiny little thing.
