Simple way to add room to a panel.

I had run out of slots in the electrical panel but wanted to add a whole house surge protector - this quad circuit breaker solved the problem and saved me $$$ by not having to update my panel. Very happy with the outcome and would recommend this product.

Worked out well. Only had 1 open slot to install a 2 pole breaker. This let me do it and retain the existing circuits.

The tandem design saves space in the panel and it seems to be a well made product. I only just recently purchased and installed this breaker, and to date it is working as expected. Homeline is the "economy" line of Square D products, the service panels are different so the Homeline breakers don't fit/work in the standard Square D panels and vise versa. Economy usually means less expensive, Homeline is less expensive. Less expensive usually means lower quality. This panel has been in service for over ten years without any issues, so it seems the quality is still there... so far so good.

Great way to add additional 220 volt circuits to a breaker sub panel.

These circuit breakers did not fit my Square D Homeline circuit breaker panel. Where the contact meets the bus bar some plastic on the breaker had to be chipped out with a flat bladed screwdriver in order for the breaker to press on to the bus bar.
