Best bang for the buck. It was easy to put together. Looks nice and secure enough to keep people out of it.

I recently order this safe because I thought that the price was good and I just wanted something basic. So far I have not been disappointed. It's working great for my guns. I do have a few issues though. When I picked up the package the box was opened. I was told it was done by accident but that everything was there. Not too big of an issue but was annoying. Second, part of the safe was bent at the corner. This made it difficult to put on and I had to force the pieces together. Aside from that, the safe is great and economical. I would recommend it only if your bargain hunting or if you want something basic.

Nice looking product. Had an issue with the shipping process. Initial shipment looked like somebody at UPS was having a bad day and beat the cabinet to bits. The box arrived all tattered and cabinet was bent beyond assembly. The second shipment was better - came direct from Stack-On, but parts were still bent. Needless to say this will not protect your firearms in a robbery, but it's definitely a nice little storage unit to keep out of sight. This sits in my walk-in closet so I'm not too concerned. I'll invest in a heavy duty safe when I move into a house. Do I recommend the product? For the price and purpose, yes. Quality on this product is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would I recommend for security? Absolutely not.

Assembly was easy. But 8 gun? Maybe if all you have is 22 bolt guns without scopes, but it was a tight fit for my 4 guns, three of which have optics. Wish I'd gone for a bigger size, but the price was great (I got it for ninety three, I see it's gone up since then). Anyway, all my long guns are now locked in a steel cabinet bolted to the wall. As others have mentioned, the packaging was flimsy and there were some bends, typically at corners readily straightened with pliers. I believe those occurred at original point of manufacture and were not a result of mishandling during shipment.

Easy to assemble but it's not really an 8 gun cabinet, more like 6. 8 if you have no scopes, cases, slings, etc. i have 5 with 2 scopes and it's tight. No room for anything else unless its a couple of handguns for the shelf. Would recommend as a 6 gun holder, if you have 8 get a 10 or more.

One in excellent shape, the appeared to be previously open repackaged and lock missing,the cabinet was scratched on in side and small dents on outside. They came on a timely manor. Upon calling Stackon they sent the lock out right away.

I think it is a great cabinet for the price. Assembly was pretty easy. A lot of screws. Took about 30 min. to assemble and 10 min. to locate studs and screw to wall.

Received item on time. Some small dents and dings. I'm satisfied.

After making a wide web search for a cabinet like this for my needs, I choose the one at Home Depot because they had it in stock. It is just like most StackOn's, but a little smaller. It was easy to put together and more comfortable after I lined it with some indoor/outdoor carpeting. I would buy it again.
