Solid oak treads, not finger -jointed pieces... oil poly brought out lovely color..

I upgraded my stairs to wood only. I stained the steps dark brown this wood is gorgeous.

I did it for my home stair , it look nice and strong

We used the 5 foot stair tread as a bench on our front porch. It was perfect.

Visually pleasing and appears high quality but (3) 60's Treads have developed splits inside 6 weeks that compromise their strength along the seams of the joined sections of Oak.

Came quickly, step showed no cupping or twisting. There was a knot hole on one side so only one side was the finish side. Overall very happy.

I bought 97 of these treads and only one was slightly cupped; however, I was able to use a narrower part of that tread for my purposes. Very happy with the quality and Home Depot's service!

Most of the red oak treads are in good shape. I ordered 5 ea of 60 in length. One side is prepared to be finished and the bottom side is irregular. I had to fill in some knicks on one of the treads topside. I also ordered 12 ea 42" red oak treads. All of them stained beautifully. I would recommend this product. Home Depot is great to work with.

Bought nine 42” boards. About half had some type of imperfection on the better side, such as:small dentsrough plane marksSeparation at glue jointIf you want perfect stair treads from this source, would recommend careful inspection and return of those with above defects.

Came with a blemish that went all the way throughout the wood. Surprised that no one saw this when packing it for shipping.
