Purchased 4 treads. Good product, white oak as described. Had minor dings and dents at ends from shipping.

Used as a shelf--worked well.

Good quality. I needed 5 and ordered 7 to allow for defects. They were all acceptable, so I simply returned 2 to the local HD store for a refund. Some color variation within each tread but no real flaws.

After a few reships for badly millled treads they finally got all 14 I ordered where I could install them in my home. A word of advice order a few more than you need.

Good piece of wood used for my outside step after primer and paint I needed 6 feet but only came in 5 foot so I bought three and added a foot to each board with glue, pegs ,screws and a metal brace

Color seems to be on the dark side .I had white oak on old stairs and this is darker

Treads are Beautiful but inconsistent in Quality. Had to order more to pick good ones .

Except one of them looks like a stripe of lighter color oak & it happens to be very noticeable because it’s on the outer edge of tread. We decided to pull it up & order another one . Otherwise the treads are really nice.

They turned out well.

We used the treads to make leaves for an old oak table, not finished yet but very pleased with our purchase and the quality.

Very nice material would recommend to anyone who wants stained stairs!!

Good quality. one of three treads had a bit of a defect that would have required a lot of sanding, but I was using one to sacrifice to widen the other two treads. Straight and flat, though. Slightly over 1 inch to allow for sanding.

Excellent quality white oak

Looks great after sanding, staining and clearcoating. 1 out of 17 was splite where the laminated pieces came apart. Probably fixable but just used the wood for another project. About half the treads only had one useable side due to defects in the wood. Overall, would order again knowing that when you work with a natural product, it is never going to be perfect.

Shipped well, nice color, sturdy oak. Good cost.
