We wanted a barn door for the opening going into our master bath and ordered this online. I also purchased contemporary stainless steel hardware and love the look of them together. I was going to white wash the door but after seeing it on the wall, I decided to keep it in its natural color. This door is HEAVY but worth every dollar! If you are like me, I always wondered about the bottom of the door and how it doesn't rub up against the baseboard. Well, I found out that they all have a groove cut into the bottom of the door for the tracking device that keeps the door from rubbing at the bottom. Whatever hardware you buy, will come with some type of tracking device. We really like the look of this!

This door is beautiful and adds to our master bedroom. Installing was a bit nerve racking since I am not a pro. With a little thinking and time I did manage and it was worth it.

Project: Barn door on slider. Purchased the slider kit from HD along with this door. It took 5-6 weeks to get the door, but it was very worth it. Arrived at the store in a serious protective wood structure, had to have help to take that structure down to get it in my Subaru. Still had cardboard box around it. Already loving it. Can't imagine how this product could be better, honestly.

I purchased this door for my master bedroom while remodeling master bath. I had a closet door that kept hitting door, thought a sliding door would fix the problem. It did.. I wanted a more distressed look so I took a hammer, chisel, crow bar (basically anything I could find ) and went to town. Notice up close picture. I had my contractor stain one side and paint the other to go with new white bathroom. We installed a recessed pull to the inside and a rustic handle on the outside. Can't tell you how pleased I am. I also used Home Depot mounting hardware that works great. For about $500 total I got a high quality custom door.

This door is beautiful, a nice solid door! I replaced the door from my hallway to laundry room. Can't wait to install another. I purchased the door unfinished and stained it honey oak.

I priced out finished barn doors for the mountain home we just bought and was shocked at the pricing- $1000 on up. So I took a chance on this door and I'm glad I did. I have a little bit of experience with finishing bare wood and none at all with woodworking, but was able to create a beautiful, distressed barn door after watching a few online videos. We installed it with Home Depot hardware. My only concern now is getting the remaining doors done before they go out of stock! Please, Steves & Sons, don't stop making this door!

Doors are very well made. Just what we wanted. Slot on the bottom was a good surprise. Thought I would have to use a router and do it myself. Overall, very happy.

Great solid core doors. Very well constructed. Would highly recommend these if you want a solid core door to help eliminate noise.
