Have had this for 26 months. Only used a few times. Motor brushes wore out. Called customer service. They said they don't have a part number for brushes. Told me if it was still in warranty they would send me a replacement. It is 2 months past warranty, so guess I'm screwed. Any suggestions to finding brushes would be a great help.

Great for working in small areas. Struggles with previously un-tilled, rocky land but great on reworked areas. Great power for such a small tiller.

I wrote a review for this reliable tiller when I bought it several years ago. I had to follow up now, based on this recent success. Having moved into a new home, I attempted to hand-dig 100 feet trench for 100' of 4" corrugated drainage pipe (dumb idea). When I wasn't pleased with my rental options for trenchers, I thought to try my Sun Joe. Well, while a proper gas-powered trencher would have been better/easier, I was amazed at how my TJ603E performed. I used it to dig all 100', with, yes, all the rocks, roots, and assorted debris you’d expect, and it performed like a champ. Far more, I venture, than the machine was designed to perform. Thanks Sun Joe for such a robust product. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an electric-powered tiller.

I had borrowed one of these last year (very old model) for my 15 x 10 foot fenced garden area. I was so impressed, I bought my own this year as my back won't tolerate doing it by hand anymore. I certainly wan't disappointed. Worked exceptionally well, breaking up the soil very quickly and fine enough that I could plant directly as soon as the tilling was completed. Would definitely recommend for a smaller suburban garden area.

This worked great for tilling up a 900 square foot area of weeds. Got it done in about an hour and a half. Did find that pulling it backwards worked much easier.

Just like any tiller, not easy to use/control. Need a lot of upper body strength especially the arms since it always wants to move forward from you and you want to dig deep enough to move dirt before you move forward. Overall it does what its meant to do. When you till near some type of edge it will throw dirt over on it. No regret, its either this or the shovel.

The tiller exceeded my expectations. Powerful, yet very easy to handle. Turned over 30 x 70 crabgrass lawn in less than two hours. Works best by pulling it backwards. Highly recommended

This is the first tiller I have ever purchased and the the first SNOW JOE/SUN JOE Product First Tiller/Cultivator ever purchased and I have to say what a little worked horse of a machine. I live in Connecticut and the ground is so compact we have a lot of clay in my area .The area where I put it to work was a large area of my lawn approx. 8' x 24' where the grass was dead/dried out and has a lot of clay and hard compact soil but this machine worked very well. Can't say enough about this tiller it's the best 16 in. 12 amp model TJ603E I have purchased !!

Great tiller! My soil is compacted and roughly 2 inches down is nothing but rocky clay soil. This tiller chewed right through everything!! This is is the very first time I have ever tilled soil, and I recommend using Sun Joe. Great F...ing products!

Should have returned this.The motor shuts off it encounters resistance. Might as well till your garden with your blender. Too light and too weak to till anything but very soft soil.
