I did not buy this rod for electric work but rather it will hold up a banner/ sign that I need to use at up coming festivals . Here is a picture of the banner, once the rod was bent it did a great job of nicely displaying my sign. The company that made the banner wanted $60 for a rod, I paid only $8 for this support rod, what a deal. Glad I found it at Home Depot!

These are listed as "Galvanized" but they are "electo galvanized" meaning they are really just zinc plated. Very misleading.

Standard 1/4” galvanized allthread. Worked well for application. Performed exactly as it should.
