Product Details

The Superstrut 3/8 in. Galvanized Threaded Electrical Support Rod is used to suspend metal framing channel from ceilings. The construction of this support rod holds up to 1,900 lbs. This rod is 16-Gauge and 10 ft. L. The standard Gold Galvanized finish is made up of a multi-step electro galvanizing and zinc dichromate process. The trivalent Chromium finish is applied over the zinc, producing a chemically bonded non-porous barrier for protection from moisture and air.

        I did not buy this rod for electric work but rather it will hold up a banner/ sign that I need to...
        I did not buy this rod for electric work but rather it will hold up a banner/ sign that I need to use at up coming festivals . Here is a picture of the banner, once the rod was bent it did a great job of nicely displaying my sign. The company that made the banner wanted $60 for a rod, I paid only $8 for this support rod, what a deal. Glad I found it at Home Depot!
