Very nice slab, pre-leveled and sanded, and with shipping included in price, a real deal.

These slabs came in tact, with bark just like I wanted, more on some and I love that. Natural unique pieces-are sanded smoother than I was even expecting! Once oiled all the colors come out of this natural material just as I hoped. These turned out looking amazing in my kitchen holding my dishes. Thank you so much Swaner Hardwood!!

Cut one piece in half to make a couple end tables and they turned out great.

It's Walnut so it's a beautiful piece of wood. My only issue is the big split on one end. It's about a 12" split on a 4' board. I'm using this for a small bar seating area and the split is rather distracting. I'm guessing it was dried too quickly.

So easy to installs legs and use it as a table. We love it and very high quality and really finishes off our living room. Highly recommend.

If you’re like me, and are looking to make a piece of furniture with live edge wood, but can’t find the right piece online or in person, do yourself a favor and BUY FROM HERE. I couldnt find a walnut slab locally, so I ordered from home depot as a last resort. I was surprized by the quaility of the wood and beauty of the grain. Very happy with it, and the end product of my galaxy (river) table.

I used this live edge Walnut to make an amazing river coffee table and matching serving platter. Excellent quality wood already flat and smooth very easy to finish. The cut and wood grain are beautiful. There was minimal sanding that needed to be done prior to staining and the color is gorgeous.

I was hesitant to order this as it is not something you can see in the local home depot.... but Ryan at Swaner is incredible, his customer service is above and beyond what I expected. The piece of Walnut he sent me was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It has alot of character and the grain and color were on point. The quality of the wood is on par with the customer service and I was eager to get working on it straight away today. I bought a 2 inch live edge black walnut board. $200. One of the ends was painted blue, but the paint bled onto the live edge several inches. So I paid for live edge but it's a useless live edge. Otherwise it's pretty board.

Quality of these boards is good, but it better be when hardwood suppliers sell top quality walnut for roughly half that.

Absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous wood!! It looks just like the pictures. We got an 8’ board and a 4’ board. They are straight, cut beautifully, and look like they’ve already been sanded, they’re so smooth. It came very quickly after ordering and in perfect condition.
