The live edge walnut wood is FABULOUS! I’ve bought the same wood elsewhere and was nowhere near the quality of product from this supplier!!!! Love it! Have purchased several times now due to its quality. It obviously has been planed flat which is extremely helpful

This wood is super nice, dry and smooth and straight, I use it for river tables, very beautiful results

The walnut slab was beautiful and I was able to speak directly with Swaner Hardwoods to get just the right width. They were super helpful!

Go to a local sawmill, you can likely get this for half the price and they too can surface and flatten it for you.

Good product and material

The wood I received exceeded my expectations.

I understand this is a great price for live edge walunt. I do. But this is not lumber. This is a piece of specialty wood Why does 2”x 8-12” come as 1 5/8” thick? I do not understand.

Unfortunately this product didn't meet expectations in my case. I ordered the 8" with and received the 12" width for the 8' size. There were also two significant gouges midspan and near one end that extended about 1/2" into the wood and were 2-3" wide. Combined these issues made the slab not useful for the the bar project I was working. Beautiful wood though and I think I just got unlucky.

Wanted a 2”x16”x4’ walnut slab and worked with Ryan at Swaner before I ordered. He picked out a beautiful piece of walnut which worked perfectly for me. Great customer service and incredibly fast shipping from Swaner through Home Depot. Highly recommended!!

What a statement these boards are ! I have used these boards over and over for charcuterie boards at events, these boards are an automatic compliment everytime! The craftsmanship, quality and durability is gorgeous !

My slab was not 2" so I had to adjust my plans and hardware.

the board was as specified . applied epixy and was beautiful!!

The live edge was barely there, not enough character, and the one end of the cut board split in the middle of the board about one foot making my four board 3 foot.

Some Boards Are Not 12 inches Wide But remember your Ordering Fresh cuts ..So prepare to Use a Joiner Tool if you Need the Exact Width .. It will Work out Gorgeous. The wood is absolutely Gorgeous .. Has Bark on it Like shown In pictures. Dilivery was So Good. Thank You

Turned out some nice charcuterie boards with one of these boards. Definitely recommend these boards and go read up on the company behind these beautiful pieces of wood.
