Another thermostat that supposedly doesn't need a c-wire. It DID have an adapter, but the adapter required wires that we didn't have. Will be trying a Nest next. There's a video that shows a working installation without one. Fingers crossed!

Set up was easy and the remote sensor seems to work well. The only issue were the plastic anchors - followed the drill size instructions but the anchors didn’t insert and broke so I ended up reusing anchors from the old Ecobee thermostat. Also the screws provided seemed longer than they needed to be, so I reused the Ecobee screws.

Not working properly, will be returning today.

Purchased this to replace my outdated and defective Honeywell TH8320R1003. Wanted an upgrade to allow me to adjust the temperature of the home while away. Purchased this because it’s supposed to work with hybrid systems. Once installed, it wouldn’t work correctly. Called tech support who said it’s not compatible with my system and I needed the T10 which would work and suit my needs. For reference, I have an oil furnace with a heat pump (and a C wire). 3* for not working with all hybrid systems.

The box said no “c wire” needed. Then first instructions were to use c wire or the adapter. Misleading the purchase. I didn’t have access to c wire or have time to use adapter into furnace. Bad advertising on store shelf. I returned it. Bought one that didn’t need c wire and had it hooked up in 5 minutes.

So easy to set up, use, control our house ambience!

Simple interface, good value if you want a non-learning thermostat. I wanted a T-stat that would follow the schedules I added, without trying to figure out my routine. Sometimes the iOS app takes a minute to reflect temperature changes made on the thermostat, and the usage reports are 24 hour or more delay and they reflect usage by day, not by hour.

Overall, this is a really good easy to use and easy to set up thermostat. I prefer this one over the Nest and the Ecobee. When I was forced to change my existing Honeywell thermostat due to a failure, I decided to stick with them, so I would not have to create a new accounts. I do like the way the scheduling works, and the one sensor that is included is enough for my home. The main thermostat is installed in a hallway where my return air is, and the standalone sensor is installed in my master bedroom. This works out really well for my situation, because I have a return air in my master bedroom as well.

I have a T9 thermostat with sensors in each of my homes. Would LOVE to see the ability to select different sensors for heat options and cooling options when creating a schedule, rather than the same ones. Anyone else thinks this would be an enhancement worth having?

Really easy to install

Sensor works much better than ecobee sensors. Easy install. Color coding of modes is a nice interface touch.

This is the second T9 I have received now and it worked for approximately 2 months before failing this time, the first was faulty out of the box. There are much better choices for far less money on the market.

Just installed our new T9 Thermostat. There is no Apple Homekit integration like it says on this site. Does the device need an update?

/Excellent digital thermostat for aircon and furnace. Not as simple to set up as the "Hook up the 2 wires and go" type thermostat, but once it is installed it is outstanding. Uses a phone App to manage the system after it is set up, and scheduling is quite simple once installed. Not for non-techy customers, as the setup procedure makes an assumption that the user understands the basics of digital installation. Found the instruction manual included to be a little incomplete. Searching around on the net found a much better manual, provided by Honeywell, that would have made the installation easier had I found it earlier. Running the furnace (its winter) has been a big improvement over our previous basic mechanical thermostat. Our costs have gone down due to better control, and features like the ability to decide which time you want a particular temperature to be reached, and automatically starting the heating earlier to allow the overall heatup time, which might be a half hour, to occur before the time that you want it to be at the correct temperature, is marvelous. The item comes with a second temperature monitor that senses when another room, like a basement, has people moving around in it, and tells the heater to adjust the temperature in that area to the set temperature. Certainly on the high end of pricing, but as I've gotten used to it, the price was almost worth it.

When coupled with remote sensors and a schedule, this thermostat provides homeowners the level of control usually limited to systems with dampers or multi-zone systems. However the instructions showing the by-room level control available when assigning individual remotes is not clear. The installation instructions for the wall mount tape used with remotes is completely missing. And there is no way to register the T9 on either the Honeywell or Resideo web sites; T9 is missing from the available device lists!

Excellent product, allows me to monitor and adjust temperature in my Minnesota cabin from Florida.

This was an easy set up and just what I needed to be able to control from my phone while I’m on travel. Excellent product.

Works great, easy to set up, I use the geo all the time. I tried the Nest didn't like it at all.

I really thought this would be easier to install. I already gave a smart thermostat so I figured I could do it. Not true! The directions were not fir this model so I had to look them up online and print them. I am returning it!

Great system! Loved being able to take our comfort level and HVAC system efficiency to the next level. The degree of flexibility, control and various programming options are excellent.

I bought this last year and now the heat would not come on and the AC tech told me it doesn’t work with the gas heater and electric AC.

When the app was Honeywell, everything worked fine. Since they changed to Resideo, it dropped my thermostat from the app and refuses to recognize it. Support is impossible, with interminable phone waits and a "chat" feature whose main quality is the ability to drop you. DO NOT BUY ANY HONEYWELL / RESIDEO PRODUCT

Easy to set up and so far we love it! No problems

Cool replacement for old thermo, nice display. Install took a little more time, my old thermo was 2 wires (red and white), this one uses multiple wires. So I had to re-connect unconnected wires at the furnace j-block. Resideo software is truly awful ("geofence"?), not sure what value it adds, but I eventually connected Alexa to thermo, making it perfect to adjust from multiple rooms.

Just finished installing my new Stat and 2 sensors! So far so good.. Took a couple of tries to sync the sensors with the stat but then was successful.

Returned it, didn’t work when applied to the base, had a professional try today install it.
