        If I have the stat in the living room and remote sensors in 2 bedrooms and set it to average the two remotes, will it average the two even if one bedroom is unoccupied or if no one is in bedroom #2 will it not include it in the averaging function?

If you select the two bedrooms, the average will be calculated using only those rooms, regardless of whether they are occupied. If you select priority by active rooms, the average will include only the rooms that are currently occupied. - Maria

                My base thermostat is in an area that doesn't get airflow properly. I often have to point a fan at the t-stat in order for it to get real temperature air. Can I have the base unit use the sensor only?

                  Great stat when it works
                  It's a great tstat when it works. I have had multiple times watching it reset. Sometimes it just turns off and I get up and pull it off to reset it. I'm probably going to get a power monitoring meter with data recording so I can prove to honeywell that the Stat socks and it's not the furnance.

                    I have been freezing since this thermostat has been installed. I wake up to 65-66 degrees in subzero weather. I have contacted technical support several times, and they have not resolved the issue.

                    I have a new T9 thermostat but I live in the UK and would like a wiring diagram with more detail than what is in the product book as it’s really not the best.

                      Flaw in design feature, support issue.
                      While I am satisfied with the product as a hole, I cannot understand why a design feature has failed, why support only offers circular reasoning, and they cannot fix the issue. The feature that can send an email if an under/over temp or humidity problem exists, sends that email, using a light gray font on a white background that can barely be read indoors and completely impossible outdoors. Support says that cannot be fixed. Perhaps they should discontinue that feature altogether as it is useless. If this is not important to anyone, then the T9 is a good choice.

                        Defective Out Of The Box
                        I was replacing the Honeywell T6 Pro (non-wifi) installed by the builder in my new home. The connector used in the T9 is the same as with the T6, so it was easy to assure I had the unit wired properly. After connecting the thermostat, though, the screen displayed an error message "Factory Test Error. Factory Test has not been completed. Please contact Customer Care." So, I contacted Customer Care, and after 30 minutes, the tech was not able to resolve the problem. I returned the thermostat.

                          Very Easy to Get Up and Running
                          This device was very easy to install and get working, which is good for someone like me, who is not exactly technically proficient. The sensor was also a walk in the park. We are still trying to figure out how to use it best, but it certainly does appear to do the job very well. It will be interesting to see if it helps with the electric bills.

                            Just bought this from Best Buy and I keep having the problem of trying to add a sensor. Thermostat continually says “Can’t Enter Enroll Mode.” Any suggestions? I feel like I’ve tried almost everything except replacing it.

                              Solved a problem from a bad HVAC install
                              My home has a poorly placed thermostat directly below a HVAC vent (previous owner install). Rather than moving the old thermostat, this product made it super simple. I replaced the old thermostat with this one and installed the extra sensor in a hallway in the middle of the house, away from vents. I was then able to set the priority of the temperature reading to come from the extra sensor, not the primary thermostat (still located under a HVAC vent). My AC and Heating units now work a lot better!
