A Little Research
Took some time to review this stat and to make sure I could install. Found it on sale, $100 rebate from local pud plus sold old thermostat, this thing cost me like $30. I appreciate the you tube videos I watched.

Nice, sort of, when it works
Good: First, easy to install & setup. Bad: no hold temp, you have to link a device so it knows you're home. Doesn't always work, constantly find the thermo in away mode. Doesn't always sense when you walk around it, at times doesn't respond to motion or touch. Constantly drops WIFI, with 15 other devices in home with no issues, including a NEST doorbell. Factory reset does not restore non functioning WIFI. Simple 'reset' will at some point allow the unit to connect to WIFI, normally 3x max works

no smarts, just a schedule.
In short their app nor the product is smart. The rigid adherence to the schedule is the largest issue. If I change the temp 5m ago, I don't still want the thermostat to move to the sleeping temp. Why is the review length so short?

Does Not Work Right On Dual Fuel
The literature says will work on Dual Fuel and Google's online community assured me this will work on dual fuel. It does wire up and turn on both the compressor and gas furnace just as expected. The problem is it doesn't use the auxiliary heat when it sees you want a big tempreture change. If my house is 50 degrees and I want it 70 it takes over 11 hours. The gas furnace can do it in two. On Google's forum many people complain about this problem. There answer to everything is don't worry, everything is fine, just give it more time to learn. It has been in a week and still has not learned I don't like to be cold.

Multiple stages of heating and cooling are handled a bit differently for a short period after your Nest thermostat has been installed. This is because your thermostat needs time to learn and customize energy saving and comfort features like Time To Temperature to your home. In most homes, Time To Temperature will take about a week to learn, but could take more if your heating or cooling system isn’t used frequently.
So your thermostat will handle multiple stages of heating or cooling differently while it learns about your home, your temperature preferences, and your system’s efficiency. Before your Nest thermostat has activated Time To Temperature, the second stage of heating or cooling will turn on when you adjust the set point 3.3°F beyond the current temperature.

Funny thing - it sometimes show -0 °C as temperature!! Not sure what does that mean! Lol
