This window was exactly what I needed. The added weather seal around the window's opening ensure a nice, snug seal when the window is closed. It fit perfectly into the 2X4 glass block opening I created in a solid glass block window in our bathroom. I removed the nail fin easily so the window would fit snugly into the opening.

Love these windows. We replaced 3 in our basement. Excellent fit and super easy install. They look great and are a drastic improvement over the old aluminum frame, single pane windows they replaced. No more sweating windows! Helped drop the humidity in the basement nearly 10 point! Highly recommend!

these have to be the easiest thing to install ever requires no rocket building knowledge at ALL, trimmed the outside of window with 1/4 round, looks like I hired it done, best window for the money hands down, have already noticed a difference in the looks and the sound and im sure once winter gets here they will more than out perform the old single pane with no seals...

I was having little success finding an economical window for a shell camper I am building my daughter, when I found these hopper windows HD on-line. Perfect size, well constructed, easy to install...and they look great!

If you're wondering whether you can use this vertically, 90' to the product position shown, the answer is: yes. The price is also much better than a custom window, if you have an odd size opening. Long story short, I looked all over for a dual pane window to fit the opening in our laundry room and this was the only one that came close. There was no obvious reason it couldn't be mounted 90 degrees to its intended installation position. I see someone else has used it this way now, as well. Great minds think alike! It installed very easily, looks great, especially compared to what was there, allows a nice breeze in when it's open, and the dual pane keeps the cold and wind out when it's closed. It has a good, tight seal. Order your window a bit smaller than your opening, then fill the gaps with some scrap wood and spray foam, as needed. So much easier than struggling to get just the right fit. I had it installed in about an hour, including locating and cutting some scrap wood and trim; that's how easy it was. My husband was mighty impressed when he got home from work to find I'd already done it. I never thought I would love any window this much, but after 9 plus years of living with a piece of plywood with a porthole flap cut in it in our laundry room, this window is quite lovely.

Replaced original 46 year old hopper windows with these affordable double pane windows. I found this product easy to install and it meets my expectations.

After searching numerous online and brick/mortar stores, we were very happy to find these hopper windows on Home Depot's site. Given the price compared to other windows we had seen, we were a little nervous about what we would end up with! However, the windows are very good quality for the price, and look really good. Some previous reviews stated that there was no way to only partially open the windows. Ours will stay in whatever position we place them. The only complaint I have is that the enclosed installation instructions were extremely vague-and there were no "predrilled installation holes" on our windows. Despite that, installation was fairly simple and the windows are much better looking, as well as much more sound-and weather-proof, than our previous windows.

Great Price, Fast Shipping, and the Window Fits Great. I Installed it my self and it was light enough to hold up on my own. I built a new frame to replace the one from the 1950's and used the lip around the frame to mount it. No more draft coming in and it feels solid, and secure, despite the light weight construction.

easy to install, works alright but is not high quality the outer mounting flang will break easy, my window arrived with it cracked already but since it was going into a dog-house i just trimmed over it! the handle works alright but it is plastic and seems like it may break if you are not careful! also this window opens 90-degrees but it sits close to the middle of the opening when fully open which can be a problem if you need access through it? the window also removes for easy cleaning which was a good feature!. overall i would recommend it for special situations or where it does not need to be high quality only!!!

Window is well built and attractive, but not easily installed by an average DIYer. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product.

I am pleasantly impressed with the quality and price of these windows. The only drawback, and it is minor, is they don’t have a nailing flange. This would have made the installation easier for one person

I bought this window for basement, after installation, the middle area of top (about 12 inch width) can not seal. I need help, I contacted HD, but HD can not contact with the vendor TAFCO. I left a message and email on TAFCO website, nobody responds me.

It was a mistake with this window. I bought an obscure window, and it is clear window. But it is already installed it.
