Yes, it works, but it is rated to pump water 36 inches high. It can barely do that level. Can't take it back, because the package was destroyed while opening. $30 down the drain.

I am rating my former pump that only lasted two months. My first one only lasted four months. I am on my third pump. Hope it lasts longer!!!
Maybe HD should order this product from another company!
