This product protected our delicate marble floors when new appliances were delivered and did a great job. It was easy to cut, roll out in the floor, and tape down with painters tape. Great product!

This works well for making templates. I had imagined what would work. I took a walk through the store and there it was.

Rugged, thick paper product for remodeling and longer term projects, overkill for painting I'd say - unless site is full of contractors. Don't waste money official tape, 2 in. standard masking sticks just fine and doesn't destroy paper if pulled off for additional use. Decent value at .40¢ per foot given the current inflated costs... of everything! Wish it had printed grid/guides for cutouts.

Excellent stuff. Used it as a temporary floor covering. It's thick, thicker than you might think looking at the picture. It makes for a great protective surface that's not easily penetrated by liquids and won't tear easily.

I purchased this product to protect my floors during several construction projects. It performed better than expected with all the extra traffic and activity.

Great product for the price. You get more coverage than Ram Board ( although this is a little thinner ). Perfect for general floor protection where you don’t need impact protection.

Good Alternative to the Really Expensive Floor Paper.This product does great on renovation job sites. It stays in place once its unrolled, and it does good with light spills. I've installed this paper on freshly finished hardwood floors during a complete remodel. I installed the paper for about 3-4 weeks and had no issues, and that was with plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc. There are other products out there that do cost more and are thicker. The main advantage the thicker paper has over this one is that its even more water and mud resistant. But this one does good with mud and moisture too. This paper is light years ahead of the standard brown builders paper. As you can see in my picture below the builders paper ripples and gets wavy, the x board does not. I have used this product several times and I have been pleased with the way that it performs and I plan to continue to use it in the future.

Very durable vs thinner paper style. Laid down easy. One roll covered my 22' x11' flooring for my drywall installation.

Bought X board to protect architectural concrete floor during construction. Rolled out easily, although wanted to curl if laid print side up as recommended. Used Ram tape at overlap seams. Weather was dry when laid out and lay flat. Humid and rainy next day and X-board expanded width wise and now has wrinkles (see pic). Likely to tear, now, moving scaffolding and other traffic

We used Trimaco X-Board Surface Protector to protect the pine floors in our log cabin during our recent kitchen demolition and renovation. This product is thick but easy to lay down (with minimal curling) and the result was excellent - we highly recommend this product.

I used it to cover a walk way for my carpet because of a remodel of the bathroom. We are having tile installed for the shower and the workers are walking back and forth. Very durable product, hasn't torn yet and it's been a week. Great product.

I am sold on this X-Board Surface Protector. I previously used red rosin paper to cover my hardwood floors during construction when my contractor told me to use this product instead, which is substantially thicker and does a much better job of protecting my newly refinished hardwood floors from damage. The X-Board is easy to cut with a sharp utility knife and curls down if you lay it down with the print facing upward. I usually tape joints with plain or blue masking tape and it stays down until I am ready to pull it up. One roll can cover up to about 250 sq ft, depending on your cuts and how much you overlap the seams.

Easy to cut and worth using when doing messy projects. I found taping it down with the print side facing the floor was the best way to get it to stay flat. I used this to protect my floor while cutting drywall to install a new door. It kept the floor clean, scratch free, and made it easier to clean up afterwards. I've also used this to cover my craft table so I don't get paint all over. I've spilled paint and water on it without any damage to the table under it. Using scrap pieces from my floor project, I used them to cover the driveway when changing the oil in my lawnmower. The oil does seep through to the other side. It wasn't a lot, but worth noting if you're planning on using it for something similar. Doubling up on the layers would help. It's very thick and could be used for a lot of different things beyond covering flooring.

We used this product to protect floors during some remodeling inside the house. This X-Board has held up better than expected under heavy loads. Great product to protect floors and walls from damage.

Thick and durable, as well as easy to lay down.
