I would buy this product over any other company out there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the product in my work and it has saved my toes so many times and made it impossible to move me from my place

Seams ripped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only 2 weeks of wearing these, the boots came apart at the seams on the top of the boots. I'm still waiting for my refund after a week and a half of sending them back.

Hard working boot
The insides on the heel took some time wearing in. I have had these boots for a year and a half and they are still functional. I had one part on the toe flex separate which makes it no longer waterproof, but they are solid well made boots. These are the shoes I wear on the daily, whether it be working (construction), hiking, or doing barn chores. The laces never broke a year in like my other pairs did.

      Love the boots but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boots are great other than the back inside part near the heel. It lifted or something after one week of work. A bit uncomfortable. Possibly defect since it only happened on one side

        don't waste your money
I depend on these boots everyday for work. I bought a new pair about 3 months ago and the leather on the steal toe is already ripping through. I talked to customer service and they were no help at all. They just lost a loyal customer of many years to a defective product. Spend your money on a better boot rather than this garbage.

Byfar the GREATEST boot known to man.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use them at work, and WAY better then the old redwings I had. The only boot that's comparable. Whoever thinks about buying the pro line for work should they look good for style and keep your toes safe

          Best boots I've every bought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most comfortable and so far the most durable boots I've had the pleasure of owning. From the super grip, no slip tread on the bottom to the comfortable cushion above my ankle, these boots really work for whatever you throw at them. They have a rugged design, durable laces that don't split on the ends, amazing comfort and support for all parts of you foot and a steel toe to take all the impact for those little accidents at work.

Pros live up to their name
I've now owned 3 pairs of These over the years. I can easily get 3-4 years of extreme abuse out of these as a mechanic, I've only had to replace them as the soles gave out and let's water in

I will no longer be buying Timberland Products
Timberland does not back their products my son has owned this pair of boots for less than a yr uses them 3 days a week to work in and they fell apart. I filled out the warranty claim form, sent all the info and my claim was denied. Why have a warranty on your products if you won't honor them, the soles of the shoes are fine yet the sole fell off the boot but that is considered reasonable wear for expectations of the product. You apparently have no faith or pride in your product if you expect the wear to not even last a year. Thank you again for nothing and I will now give my money to a competitor.

The very best work boot money can buy!
I work in commercial construction so I deal with everything from wet concrete to knee deep mud and everything in between. And Timberland Pro Work Boots are the very best when it comes to being durable, water proof, anti slip, appearance, etc. I sincerely can not say enough about these boots. Please trust me when I say you'd have to be crazy to buy another work boot. I will wear Timberland work boots for as long as I live!

I'm a Mechanic, and these endured 2½ years in what some consider a semi-harsh environment outstandingly. Bought another pair (8" upper) since the first faired so well.

These Timberland boots are made from top-quality blemish-free leather. Most of the larger pieces with high-stress seams have quad-stitching, others are double-stitched. The boots include a removeable urethane cushioned insole for long wearing comfort. The laces are high strength outer braided cordage similar to paracord. The lacing is fed through large brass eyelets which work well and hold with significant force. The soles are deep-lugged soft rubber and do not mark floors. All of the perimeter seam at the sole to upper junction has a rubber strip to prevent water penetration. The toe cup has a cloth covering to improve cushioning and protect your socks and toes from undo stress and wear. The size seems a little small so order at least a ½ size up to include room for thicker socks. The cuff around the top has nice foam cushioning. On first wearing the stiff leather pressed on my inner anklebone. I was only able to wear them for about 4 hours before it was so bothersome that I had to them off for the rest of the day. On the second wearing I didn’t experience the same issue. The only downside so far is that I have to loosen the laces almost all the way to the beginning of the tongue to get the boots on my feet.

Durability, comfort, and safety or the things I look for in work boots and these Timberland Pros do that with the added benefit of looking great. The steel toe is high quality and won't bend if something falls on it. The leather is ultra high quality and repels water very well. After a lot of use they even still smell like leather and not stinky foot smell. I found the boots to be very comfortable, which is tough for me since I have a bunion on my right food. The foot hole lip fabric makes it easy to put the boots on and the laces make for easy adjustment. At first I felt the shoelaces felt a bit cheap, but they appear to be holding up quite well. Based on my limited experience with these boots I feel they are made to last and looking forward to using them for a long time.

The first time I put these boots on I knew I was going to like them. My last boots were designed in such a way that they were hard to put on and take off. Not these boots. Someone that knew about boots designed these. I can easily pull the sides of the boot apart and the strings easily slide through the holes. My feet just slide into them without a struggle. When I take them off, I don’t have to struggle like I did with my last boots. I appreciated the test ratings included with the boots. The test rating is for slip hazard on various surfaces. These boots are not the best for every surface. My friend has pea gravel in his back yard. After walking on the gravel, I found pea gravel stuck between the treads on the sole of these boots. I had to check the soles every time I needed to go into the house after walking in the back yard. While at my friend’s house I needed to rinse something off at the faucet. The boots were close enough to get wet. That is when I was impressed with the waterproof construction of these boots. These are not walking boots, but for some reason I put them on before a walk in the neighborhood. A neighbor had a large geyser coming from his sprinkling system. While investigating the leak I walked through water. I didn’t think of taking a picture until later, but I did notice that my boots were dry after I left the neighbor’s house. I use custom orthotic inserts, so I take out the cushion insole. I can’t give an opinion on that part of the shoe. When I am not on my feet, sometimes my big toe flexes and I feel wrinkles in the lining inside the shoe. I never feel the wrinkles when I am on my feet.

Timberland Steel Toe Work Boot, Khaki : Sturdy. Good tread. Handsome boot - wearer commented "Almost too nice to wear in warehouse." Solid working man's footwear with quality expected from Timberland. Only complaint is that boot is sized a bit short. Recommend sizing up a half size or try on before purchase. Cannot comment as to comfort due to sizing issue.

I got these boots for my grandson, in his 30's, he has a hard time getting boots or shoes to fit him as he has a long and wide foot. He has always had a hard time finding any footwear that was comfortable and of good quality. He is a millwright and does construction so good boots are a must. He has worn them to work for a few days now and is completely impressed with how good his feet feel when he takes them off. He is very happy that I got them for him. He highly recommends them for anyone in the trades and on their feet a lot.

My husband could not be happier with these Timberland Pro Men’s work boots! These are his first pair and he’s amazed at how well made they are. The steel toe is like a rock. He normally wears a size 9 medium. These fit just right out of the box. We have a steep slope on our property with trees that need falling, and he can now safely climb up and down the slope with his chainsaw to cut the trees that need to go.

Was in the market for a new pair of work boots, so decided to pick up these Timberland Pro Men's Direct Attach Waterproof 6" Steel Toe Work Boots. Depending on shoe brand, I wear with a 10.5 or an 11, and these size 11 boots fit true to size. The width on these boots is marked as normal, but I feel that they ran a little narrow in the toe box...likely due to the steel toe. These boots provided great support and traction while out at a work site. After spending 8+ hours on my feet, I was very pleased to not suffer from any foot or ankle fatigue. The narrower toe box did produce some rubbing of my toes on the sides, but it was more annoying than painful. A change to a thicker pair of socks will hopefully remedy this. As for features, these boots boast steel safety toes, waterproof seams, electrical hazard protection, a slip resistant rubber outsole, antimicrobial odor control, anti-fatigue technology, and a 30-day comfort guarantee. While (thankfully) not having the opportunity to speak to the steel toe or the electrical hazard protection, I can confirm the other features to be accurate. Trampling around on a muddy construction site, I didn't lose my footing ever and my feet remained dry. Hosing the boots off at the end of the day, my feet also stayed dry. Overall, these are a good boot. The only loss of star is due to the toe rubbing on the outer edge of each boot. Hopefully a new pair of socks will fix this, and then I will consider these to be a great pair of work boots!

Best work boots I have found in a long time. They hold up no matter what you throw at them. Tread is really good and excellent for outdoor or indoor work. The steel toe and insulation provide safety at work and still provide comfort to wear all day. Easy to put on, laces long enough to tie and tuck in to stay safe and tied. I like they are also waterproof to wear in the snow.

These are nice boots that have one serious flaw: they run a size small. Size 12 is typically a bit too big for me, but these boots are definitely too small. I walked a mile in them, and they got very uncomfortable, I couldn't wait to get them off, and have not put them back on since. The steel toe is completely unforgiving if the boot is too small. Actually, as soon as I took them out of the box, I thought they looked small. I really was expecting them to be too big for me, I am shocked that they don't fit. Other than the sizing issue, they look like good boots. The tread is deep and grippy. The uppers are soft leather that won't give you a month of blisters before it breaks-in. In fact, I doubt these boots need any break-in at all, I think they would be very comfortable if they were the right size. They're not as heavy as they look. Two nitpicks: I wish the top two eyelets were hooks instead, and the puffy material around the cuff doesn't look like it will last as long as the rest of the boot. Also, I don't see any stitching between the upper and the sole, I guess they have a lot of faith in glue. Given the fact that you can't try them on in the store and the sizing problems, I can't really recommend them.

I’ve been wearing pairs of these boots (both steel toe and regular toe) for probably 10 years or so. This is my forth pair, and they seem to be made just like the rest of the pairs I’ve had. I do find that the steel toe version is just a little bit narrower than the regular toe. I use them for landscaping and construction work, and have never had a problem.

The Timberland quality one has come to expect from the brand. Attractive and functional work boot, some may choose to use it as an all occasion shoe. And they aren't just for men. Good cushion and thick soles offer excellent foot protection, waterproof and slip resistant. Thermolite insulation makes feet feel cozy inside. Meets ASTM standards. Beautiful scuff and oil resistant wheat colored leather. Great shoe for working on pipelines in the brutal winter. Ships promptly. They are guaranteed for 12 months, for defects in material or workmanship.

From the moment you try these boots on you can feel the comfort and quality these work boots can deliver. I usually wear a size 11 and these boots in 12 are a tight but comfortable fit. I'd recommend upsizing a size to ensure a good fit. The soles are a classic waffle pattern that ensures a good footing on most surfaces. The steel fits well without squeezing your toes. Very good boot.

These Timberland Pro men's direct attach waterproof work boots with steel toe are a great choice. I got them for my husband and he likes that they are slip and oil resistant. The steel toe is a great protection feature and the electrical hazard protection is also good since he does electrical work. They are also very comfortable and the fact that they are insulated is great in cold weather.

In full disclosure I received these in exchange for an honest review of the Timberland PRO Men's Direct Attach Waterproof 6'' Work Boots - Steel Toe - Wheat. Initial thoughts are the boots are truly waterproof, right out of the box, I tested that in my tub. They are comfortable and once they get broken in they appear to be a great fit. Since I almost never wear socks, even in winter I’m critical of comfort. They are well insulated so I have no doubt they should be warm but won’t know for sure for a couple months. I requested my normal boot size, they fit as expected so I say for me they are true to size. The leather is somewhat soft to the touch out of the box but once they are on you feel the typical new leather stiffness but not more than any other good leather product is at first. Now as we all know the real test is LONGEVITY I purchased my first Timberlands back in 1975-76. I was an avid backpacker and I gave them a major workout, practically wearing them every waking moment and through all 4 seasons. They finally broke down after 20-25 years, now that’s QUALITY. I have not had the same success subsequently with Timberland. I will say they did replace one pair, about 7 yrs. ago, that fell apart after a few months. My initial assessment is all positive, they will need to earn that 5th star in time. Time will tell if quality has come back to this once superior brand. If Home Depot allows me to, I will update this review, either up or down. Thanks Home Depot & Timberland for allowing me to do this.
