The Toro universal gutter cleaning kit with 11 foot reach for handheld leaf blowers is a good approach to the idea of utilizing existing tools to add new features. I like the fact that it is universally designed to work with any blower type. It is made of plastic, is light weight and well made to easily screw together at the joints and stays together well once assembled. What I had issue with and the reason for the 4 star rating is the universal connector. While it comes with a large and small nozzle for attaching to various brands and sizes of blowers, I tried on 2 different units, an electric and gas powered version. Both units had smaller nozzles than the smallest adapter, which allows some leaking of air as it went into the pipe. There could be some tweaking of that part in my opinion. The other shortcoming contributing to the lower rating is the tip design that goes into the gutter. The current design showers the operator with debris from the gutter. This is the case because to get the angle needed to get under heavier damp compacted leaves one must move the whole unit, which places the operator in line with the falling debris. This could easily be solved with an extension to angle left or right instead of it only doing basically a 180 turn at the end. In the end the leaves were expelled and I did not have to climb a latter, which was the aim.

I have a three-level single home so I have different roof levels and gutters. This Toro Universal kit fell a little short by about 36 inches to reach our highest gutters. So, I was a little disappointed but otherwise I was able to clean out the grit and debris from the rest of my gutters around my house and shed which also has a gutter system as I collect rain water to use in the garden during Spring, Summer, and Fall months. I have a brand of leaf blower that does not easily fit this Leaf blower kit but it comes with a handy rubber ratchet belt that still secured it enough to perform the job efficiently. My blower works very well having great air blowing for a battery-operated model. So, let me just say rather than me climbing a ladder to clean out the gutters this product is practical and safe. It also comes with a carry strap if you so choose to use it. And backed with a 2-year Full Warranty. After you are done you can easily take the 5 lengths apart and place them back in the box along with the other attachments for easy storage until its next use. And I will be using the kit again as our neighbors have many trees and leaves which will be clogging our gutters soon. If you have a Ranch type home, or single story or split level this Toro product would be an absolute must for everyone to have. In my case it has limitations. I will attempt to call the provided phone number and see if they could possibly send me out one or two would be even better sections to reach my higher gutter sections both front and back of my home.

This TORO brand universal blower extension kit for safely cleaning gutters from the ground is a great design. It can extend to 11 feet with the 20 inch extension pieces provided in the kit (see picture). The kit comes with three adapters that fit just about any leaf blower. I tried it out with an older corded TORO leaf blower, and the rectangular connector was a perfect fit. It latched in place for a tight fit. I also tried it with another brand’s newer battery powered blower, and the adapter worked great with the strap provided (see picture). The good thing about the strap provided was that it had a good locking latch so it will not come loose. TORO really took the time to do good design work on this product, so I highly recommend this universal blower kit no matter what blower you might have.

This gutter cleaning system has an 11 foot reach which directs the air flow from leaf blowers to hard to reach drain systems without getting on a ladder in some cases. It has attachments to fit on most blowers with a ratcheting strap to secure the tool to a verity of output sizes. The power of out put is based on the leaf blower you have. I connected it to my backpack blower and found it difficult to use as the length of my output from my blower made the reach too long to control the attachment. I would recommend it for a handheld blower as opposed to a backpack blower for that reason. It is well made and used correctly of the right blower keeps you safe when cleaning your gutters.

This gutter cleaning kit with an 11ft. reach attachs to your existing handheld leaf blower and does a very good job! I saw that it said it was universal and since I don't have a Toro blower I was wondering if it really would fit mine. After receiving the kit and reading the instructions, and looking over the universal adapters, I did Not see one that would adapt to my blower, since it has a rectangler opening at the end. But I put on my thinking cap(lol) and took the small adapter and slid it as far onto the end of my machine and used the adjustable ratcheting strap, hoping it would cover the nozzle enough so no air would escape. Wala! - it worked perfect! Then I finished attaching everything. The connecting tubes were a little difficult at first, until I lined the grooves up on one tube with the other and then twisted them together, that made it easier to connect them. They all seem to fit pretty tightly together too. The flex tube close to the handle makes it nice to adjust the angle you are standing and where to reach into the gutters. Since it is summer, there wasn't much leaves in the gutters. But after last fall and I was up on a ladder with a small shop vac attached to my ladder, I said I was getting to old to do that anymore! I do not get up on the roof At All! So this kit I believed was the solution!! Since you are blowing the debris out of the gutters, and standing on the ground, make sure you wear old clothes and safety glasses, because you can get dirty! (The blower does have good power).Overall I am pleased with this kit and plan on getting good use out of it...

I got this unsure if the universal adapter would even fit my backpack blower. Luckily I was good fit. There are 3 adapters , they each have ends with a little flex and I would imagine they will fit most blowers. The kit comes with a adjustable ratcheting strap to tighten and secure the adapter onto your blower- but that broke within seconds, it also had no instructions how to release that strap, great idea but piece of junk. So I ended up up using a extra large hose clamp that worked fine. Had to zip tie up my controls trigger since it was a backpack blower. The tubes just screw together- but they are difficult to get apart to store.. I think I may try to grease before assembly next time. Its a little awkward to get started with but once in position- the kit works good on leaves and debris in the gutter. Get out the safety glasses because its easy to get something blown into your eye. My 30 feet of gutter was cleaned within a minute maybe. its a great tool for one story homes. One thing it doesn't work on is acorns, although one will loosen here or there the acorns are to heavy n awkward. Also would imagine it doesn't work well on wet leaves but neither does a blower on the ground. So its great for maintenance and will keep gutters clean as long as you don't let it build up. Another consideration is if you have gutter guards, its pointless to climb a ladder to remove the guards.

This is a handy tool to avoid being on the roof while cleaning gutters. At the end of this review is an overview and demonstration video. With an 11 foot reach height, this works for single-story homes and attaches to most blowers althought attachment can be difficult. I like having this tool since I do not have to climb on the roof to clean my gutters. There is obviously a safety issue with being on the roof but walking on shingles can damage them. Using it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, you just need to keep the nozzle at an angle so it blows leaves and debris out of the gutter. The kit comes with 4 tubes that each provide 20.6" of length, the gutter attachment, a flexible tube and three attachments (small, large and Toro blowers) as well as a clamp strap and shoulder strap. The tubes all thread together and very tightly, it makes one sturdy long tube. For my gutters, I only need 2 - 3 tubes. The flexible tube attaches to the blower attachment that works for you. The flexible tube is durable but threads tightly onto the tube/attachment, making it difficult to remove. The shoulder strap is very handy as is give you a 'third hand' for holding the blower. The small attachment fit perfectly on my Ryobi 40 volt blower (RY40460) but it does not secure well. Despite seeming to be designed specifically for my blower, I cannot lock it on and as I clean the gutter, I have to apply some pressure to keep it on. This is not too hard but an inconvenience. I may just use some duct tape to hold it on in the future. The small attachment also fit my Ryobi backpack blower (RY38BP) by using the clamp strap. Overall, you will probably get this to fit your blower in some way, you just may need to improvise.

This Toro universal gutter cleaning kit is a good option if you want to stay off a ladder and using your hands to remove the crud that builds up in your gutters. Their are somethings you have to first take into account. Just as it is stated on the box, it fits most blowers, but that means not all. So check the type of blower you have and the size of opening on your blower body. The other thing is be prepared for a shower of leaves and debris coming down on you from time to time. The main item that fills my gutters is pine needles and the needles would get caught on the gutter braces every four feet. If it was just leaves, this would clear them from the gutters with no problem.

We liked it enough to purchase one as a gift for a friend. It was easily adapted to a Makita leaf blower. Assembles well for rigidity related to the length away from the user. It delivers enough air to clear loose debris but it would not be enough to clean out sludge that can build up in your gutters. There is blowback so be prepared to get dirty and wear eye protection.

I bought this gutter cleaner for use on a raised bungalow. It is manufactured by the maker of my blower so the fitting was perfect. It does come with universal connectors for other blowers. It cleared my gutters with ease. We have mature trees that fill the gutters and this tool makes it easy for me to clean multiple times throughout the year for a fraction of what it would cost me to have the gutter cleaners come out once. Don't forget to wear goggles. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit on my old Toro blower & just the right reach for my bungalow’s eavestroughs. Well designed tubing maintains powerful enough airflow to clear wet, builtup debris. Kept me off the ladder last Autumn!

Perfect fit with Toro leaf blower, effectively cleaned off gutter guards. Carrying strap dramatically improved ergonomics. Well built, easy to assemble, and had minimal unwanted flex at length.

Box arrived quickly, without damage. Once assembled, it was very cumbersome and unwieldy to use. It's especially unsafe to use on a ladder. Parts fit so tightly together that there is no easy way to redirect or reposition the air flow. Also, the strap has a tendency to slip off the handle. Overall, I don't recommend it.

I found it odd that the Toro product wouldn’t come with an attachment that fits an older Toro leaf blower. mine has an oval attachment port that is apparently larger than the newer models, so neither the oval Toro attachment nor the round “universal” attachments work.

This is definitely the best way to clean gutters. I was initially thinking to hire professional. Then decided to try this as we can keep hiring persons multiple times in an year. This doesn't take much time. Can be done in 10 mins and no need to climb the ladder.

Works well, lightweight and easy to use. Used the included strap to hold the pipes vertical, then rigged up a shoulder strap from an old soft book bag. Added a 45 degree elbow on the upper end to better blow material forward. Best to use when leaves are dry. Bit messy otherwise.

I have a 1 story house and let me tell you, this thing was a God send. Put the ladder away. Gutter guards have some sort of maintenance that WILL ONE DAY require you to clean them. This eliminates the costly and ineffectiveness of gutter guards. imo. This can be somewhat cumbersome but it is a non issue. This is my second season using this and I love it. Would definitely recommend.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Waste of money

The "universal" kit does not fit my Black & Decker blower. However, with some duct tape and imagination, I was able to make it work. Since I was on the ground, I'm not really sure how clean the gutters are, but it did blow out a lot of debris.

Keep in mind I am using this on a Toro Power Jet blower. Should be a seamless fit right? Well the collar slides right off after a few minutes use, leaving the blower in my hand and the tube on the ground. And I did tighten the band to the point I thought I might break it. I did manage to get enough duct tape wrapped around it to hold it. I might even be able to finish the gutters before needing to re-wrap the tape. The really sad thing is that the blower tube connects with a snap; the same type snap connector could be built into the collar. Another thing that should be made clear is that once the flexible tube is screwed onto the collar or extension, it is permanent. It is like glue and had to be cut off. I would probably give the product at least 4 stars if not for these design flaws.

Didn't remove the debris from the gutter screens as I had hoped. Perhaps it would have worked better for gutters that do not have screens.
