Make sure its Draining downward cuz it'll Leak out the side of the Unit. Or hook up a Pond Pump like i had to. This thing Condensates like you would not Believe.

The item came right out of the box with a dirty air filter. Home Depot must have re-packaged it. It's a 2 hr drive so I set the unit up anyway. It works. It's loud. The plastic window vent adaptor clips are cheesey plastic. It does blow cold air. Just check that yours is new. I washed the dust and hair off my "new" AC filter. Home Depot Billings: Do Better.

Just bought mine and Installed it Just curious does anybody else have this issue it’s only been running a couple hours and I have a 5 gallon bucket that’s green pretty close to halfway full seems like something is not right??

My main unit went out for our 2870 sq ft house, will be at least 4 days for the part to be delivered, bought two of these units I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging (Apple-like) and the thoughtful details and design, easy setup with everything needed supplied, very happy that the window adapters fit my two different sized windows, set up the Bluetooth/wireless app which is a nice plus Really impressed with the whole package and performance and for $429 ea plus tax at Home Depot

Blowing power and coolness is great. Also pretty quiet. Only problem is that I had to add a shield for it to blow directly on me. It doesn’t swing down far enough.

This unit is awesome! We have it in the living room in the camper we live in all year around as we travel! It cools awesome when it’s a 106 outside and keeps camper at 66 and lower inside, and winter it keeps in nice and warm at an average temp of 70 and above and never have trouble with pipes freezing at temps 20 and below and our camper is 52’ foot long with a bunk house in the back!

So far so good. Little noise but keeps me cool.

I love this air conditioner it works great The only problem is I'm venting it out a patio door so I need more clips to hold the sliders cuz it's 63 in vertical that's a long throw and those things are heavy. But I love it it's quiet it's efficient and pretty cool looking

This little unit saved our lives when our HVAC unit died during one of the hottest weeks in June, on a Saturday, of course. Couldn't reach our AC company (they were overloaded with service calls), so I found this unit at our local HD online, paid for it, and sent my husband to pick it up. I had it assembled and running in about 15 minutes; couldn't have been simpler! I tested it out in our kitchen first, where the windows are easily accessible, and then moved it to our living room. My husband and I and our 3 dogs camped out in the living room until Monday, when our AC company rescued us with two additional portable units. It was nearly two weeks before they were able to install our new HVAC unit, so this little unit kept us comfortable until the new household unit was installed. I'm grateful that I found this unit and that it worked so beautifully! Hopefully won't need it again any time soon, but you never know!

Needed a portable AC that was in stock at my local store. This is the first Toshiba brand AC I’ve owned as I typically purchase LG. The AC does a good job of cooling our small living room which was my main concern. It is noisier than I’m used to, but I can live with it as long as its keeping me cool.

When I first installed the air conditioner in my bedroom, I was impressed at how quickly it made the room comfortable and even more so when I experienced just how cold it could get the room. After using it for a while though, when the compressor and exhaust blower would start, there was a terrible, very loud whining sound. Once I was finally fed up with the noise, I opened the machine to see if I could figure out the problem, thinking it was possibly a poorly seated belt. Upon further investigation I found an empty parts bag in the exhaust blower, or rather, I turned the machine on with the rear shroud off and it spit it out at me. After that was removed, the whining noise has not returned and the machine is running quieter before the removal of the bag. Overall it is a good portable air conditioner that I would recommend, but keep in mind Toshiba's quality control may not be quite up to par.

Brought this brand and had to return the first one i had purchased because it was extremly loud and didnt sound right. Went in-store to exchange it now the second one is giving out a really bad smell , like sticky socks. I looked it up its called dirty socks syndrome which is caused by buildup of mold and bacteria on the evaporator coil but i just purchased it how is that ? Going back this weekend to purchase a different brand for sure.

Great little AC. Puts out nice cool/cold air. Easily can be moved around and tucked out of the way. Installs quick and easy. Only negative is that it doesn't come with a screen for the end of the hose that blows out of the window.

I bought this in August of 2020 and used it for roughly 2 1/2 months. I packed it up and stored it in my hall closet for the winter at the end of October 2020. I just unpacked it and set it up today for the coming warm weather. There are no lights and no power. After one season of use this thing is dead.

Bought 2 months ago. Stopped cooling. Cleaned all filters, turned back on, compressor runs for abt 10 secs, turns off. Took front and rear covers off, cleaned coils, turned back on, compressor still turns off. Noticed exhaust fan wasn’t running when compressor was on. I’m an electronics tech, so I went digging into it. Found burned connection at the main board. Shouldn’t have happened after only 2 months.

I bought this from Home Depot a few months ago and I don’t think there worth the money. The temp goes low as 62 and it don’t push a lot of cold out unless your face it up to it. It helps lil but had to get two more window ac’s and I live in a 1,177 foot apartment. But would be great for a club house size.

Unit makes a loud noise which prevents me from sleeping I use it to cool my bedroom because it’s so hot but I’m not able to sleep due to the noise when you compare the price I don’t believe it’s worth it it’s almost unacceptable how loud the unit is

Cools my apartment down nicely. The extensions provided were plenty enough for my horizontally sliding windows. It is a bit loud, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The unit is easy to wheel around. You may want to consider a white model if you prefer it not to contrast with the appearance of your window from outside. This unit does condensate when you use the dry (dehumidifier) function. It comes with a exit tube that you can place the opposite end into a collection receptacle i.e. small trash bucket or houseplant.

I got this from Home Depot yesterday since it was getting extremely hot. It takes a while to cool my small room which is less than 200sqft although 10000 BTU is supposed to work for rooms upto 300sqft. Though the room is cooler but still can’t sleep due to the very loud noise which I think is unacceptable. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price especially of the loud noise and not so effective even cooling smaller rooms. I am disappointed and will be on the lookout for better portable air conditioners.

I live in downtown and once I have my windows closed, I don’t need the excess noise from outside. I spent last weekend shopping for portable AC’s and I went to two different Home Depot to get this but I am very disappointed. I chose this because it said “best seller”. It’s very hot in my apartment building during the summer and I got this installed yesterday (08/13/2020) and would like to return it as it is extremely noisy. I could not sleep due to the noise till I turned it off. Room wasn’t even cold afterwards. I can’t even record for my YouTube channel with that much noise.

We purchased this unit in Late March/early April. It was always a very loud unit (cannot watch TV with it running) but now a screeching noise has started when the compressor kicks on. It starts as a rattle and within 10 minutes it is a full blown scream. Woke me up in the middle of the night. Heart pounding I couldn't get back to sleep it scared the life out of me. Filters are all clean. Noise does not happen with just the fan. Haven't even had it six months. No clue what to do.

This is the first portable air conditioner that has been able to cool down our living room and kitchen. Like most portable air conditioners it still creates a vacuum in our house since it takes air from the inside and pushes it outside. It still works because we have a window unit in a bedroom pulling air from the outside. It was missing a part that connects the unit to the hose but Home Depot gave us a replacement the same day.

Practical and quiet with the right accessories to install almost on any window. I have given it five stars because I had bought a Titan brand air but it was not working in my room so I had to return it and buy this new Toshiba brand air conditioner and it worked properly as expected

At first I was incredibly optimistic that the unit that I had was going to be different than many that are described in these reviews. For over a month the unit kept one room in our Florida based home nice and cool, and the unit didn't miss a beat. Then recently the unit started shutting down frequently and then start beeping and flashing 8.8. I could not find any information about this in the users manual. I am ranking it 3/5 because when it worked, it worked really well. I'm optimistic that Toshiba will support the unit as well. It seems as if they are very customer focussed. I did not recommend the unit at the moment because at this point it's not reliable for me. Maybe that can change.

It is surprisingly loud and doesn't seem to cool as much as our window unit. The worst part for me is when the tank is finally full of water, there is no easy way to empty it.

A/C in residence was out. Middle of Summer in OK. Temps approaching 100 daily. As usual, all Heat/Air companies backed up. Couldn't take it any longer. Wife saw these on-line. Went down and purchased this unit very same evening. After reading the user manuel, Had it up and running in a few minutes. Wow, is it great unit for individual room. Slept great!

It is doing a good job. I bought it for the garage and I am in Texas and it is cooling down the garage with 100’ outside!

It works as advertised.
