The Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 15 Kit coverage is expressed in "Board Feet", which is defined as 12" L x 12" W x 1" D (a three-dimensional coverage calculation), whereas a "Square Foot" coverage is a two-dimensional coverage calculation (which does not factor the depth/thickness of the application). Even small variations in the depth/thickness of applied foam can significantly impact the product's coverage rate. This product is specifically designed and marketed as a small project kit. It is designed to provide up to 15 board feet of foam (15 square feet of surface area at 1" depth of application). The products that you are comparing are not equal in terms of chemistry or performance. The foam dispensed from the Pro System 15 Kit is capable of filling wider/deeper cavities (not limited to bead application), it cures in minutes (not hours), provides both an air seal and a moisture vapor barrier, whereas the single component foam does not.
