About This Product
DAP Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone is an excellent quality, painters caulk for sealing a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces. Clear caulk contains silicone additives for greater flexibility and adhesion and less shrink for a durable, waterproof seal. Caulk applies white and dries clear. Perfect for use on trim, baseboards, windows, door frames, molding, vents and more. Alex Plus Clear Caulk is paintable after 7 days with latex or oil-based paints, saving time. It won't shine through or discolor the paint for superior paint finish results. It is easy to apply and tool, low in odor and cleans up easily with water. Cured caulk is mold and mildew resistant. Exceeds ASTM C834. Interior/exterior use.

I bought white by mistake not from home depot but I wanted clear now I am wondering if I can just mix in some acrylic paint to match my baseboard?

DAP does not recommend the addition of paint into the Alex Plus, however, once it has turned from white to clear (can take up to 7-14 days depending on joint size, temperature and humidity levels), it can then be painted with an acrylic paint. Can i use for the back of the mirror? Will not damage the mirror?
