The TOWSMART trailer tri-ball mount with hook is a heavy duty item. It appears well made and significantly able to do the job. This design with 3 common sized balls made in the device eliminates the need for tools to change a ball on a traditional single bar with removable balls. The bonus hook gives an additional feature for those needing to hook a cable or chain for specific applications. I like the design and it is easy to use.

I've been looking around for an all-in-one Class V Tri-Ball receiver hitch with Hook. I came across this TOWSMART Class V 14,000 pound, 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” receiver hitch. It adjusts easily by just rotating the hitch in the receiver 90-degrees to get the ball size or hook that you need for your towing application. No more needing the have four different receiver hitches in your inventory of hitches for the one you need. It is of very solid steel material and heavy weight and painted in black

The Tow Smart Tri-Ball Mount with Hook easily slips onto my 2”x2” Class III trailer hitch without any resistance for a perfect fit. It stores nicely in my truck’s storage compartment and now I will always have the right size when I need it. For convenience, each hitch ball is engraved with its diameter and maximum trailer weight limit: 1 7/8” and 2,000 lbs; 2” and 6,000 lbs; 2 5/16” and 10,000 lbs. The tow hook also is engraved with its 10,000 lb capacity. I was able to peel off the product label and affix it to the back of the included feature card for quick reference. The glossy protective black powder coat finish looks sharp and resists corrosion.

The product includes a single heavy paper glossy overview sheet within the package. The item has a sticker applied that has the weight capacities of all the balls and hook. This tow bar is at least as good as the other popular brands. In some cases, better. The tube is sealed by fully welded seems at both ends to limit water intrusion and rust out. The welds on the balls and hook look very well integrated with the tube stock. I did not see any gaps in the powder coat finish. I did have 1 small divot in the 2-5/16” ball but it should not severely affect the performance. I will caution that you should not open near food or areas that you will be serving food. The power blasting media used to clean the item prior to powder coating remains within the tube and will trickle out during handling. In my case there was about a teaspoon worth. The length dimensions are slightly different than the other popular brand but shouldn’t cause any problem in normal usage.

I wish I would have gotten this hitch a long time ago. I don't have to go through the truck tool box and find the correct hitch for the trailer I will be using any longer. I used to keep a 2 5/16 inch for our flat bed trailer at work in the box, a 2 inch for my  motorcycle trailer or a friends boat and a 1 7/8 inch for a small trailer. Now with the Tow Smart hitch I have all three ball sizes and a hook also. The hook is a good attach point for a tow rope or chain for recovering my truck if stuck or to pull someone else out all in one unit. It will fit all 2"x 2" class III receivers and handle up to 10000 LBS trailers.

Wow! This is a fantastic product. It is very heavy(almost fouteen pounds)and sturdy. It has three balls and a hook so it does not require a ball replacement. No tools are required. Simply rotate the ball hitch.I attached it to my truck in order to pull a flatbed trailer, and it was easy to use. Towsmart makes this trailer tri-ball mount in other price ranges as well. It has a one year warranty.

This has proven to be one of the most useful items in my bucket of tools. It has solved the old problem of having to carry around two or three different size ball mounts. All I need now is the one mount and with a quick flip, I have the right size ball for what ever I need to tow. The hook has also been a big help when towing items with out a hitch, such as logs or anything with out a hitch. Being able to have this many options with one tool is great.

The hitch has 4 functions. There is a 1 7/8 inch ball. There is a 2 inch ball. There is a 2 5/16 inch ball. There is a tow hook. The design has good features. It is very durable and solid made with great hardened steel balls. It takes the place of 4 different hitches. Each hitch can be used by just rotating the device. Takes a lot less storage area than many hitches.

This Towsmart class V is perfect for those who use different size hitches that don’t want to get out a wrench to change the ball. This item fits 1 7/8”, 2” and 2 1/2” trailer mounts. The best part is that it will handle loads up to 14,000 pounds. I will be using this on my Tesla CyberTruck once a take possession of it and I can use it to assist my father with his towing needs. The hook is a nice feature that I can use for pulling out various landscape shrubs that I need to pull out. This unit is powder coated for corrosion resistance. It uses a standard pin or lock to set it in place.

I recently received the TOWSMART UP TO 10,000 LB. 1-7/8 IN., 2 IN, AND 2-5/16 IN. BALL DIAMETERS ADJUSTABLE TRAILER TRI-BALL MOUNT WITH HOOK. This combination is very well built. I'm sure it is capable to pull heavier items then my truck can handle. My neighbor and I, use each others trailers, his is 1 7/8" and mine is 2" always trying not to use the wrong ball. With this armament I do not have that problem. I'm very glad that I got this.

I have several trailers with all three of the most common ball sizes. ThisTowsmart multi mount makes it so easy to not have to carry three different size ball mounts in my truck depending on which trailer I need to use. The decal that came with it describes weight limits and was easy enough to peel off the hitch and stick it inside the door of my tool box on my truck if I should ever need to reference the information. The hitch is heavy enough that I do not think it will have any issues towing the top rating of 10000 lbs on the largest ball. I have not had to use the recovery hook but I am sure it will come in handy at some point when I least expect it. If you need a ball mount for various trailer ball sizes I would recommend this Towsmart multi mount.

This tri-ball with hook assembly is exactly what I needed to replace my 3 aging ball hitches. The paint coating looks very shiny and high quality. The length is perfectly engineered to give us optimal turning capabilities. The 3 ball sizes are the most common sizes and the hook will come in handy someday to help get me or someone else out of a ditch or in case of any other emergency. Definitely recommend this to anyone who tows a variety of trailers or equipment.

What a compliment to my Jeep Wrangler. This TOWSMART UP TO 10,000 LB. 1-7/8 IN., 2 IN, AND 2-5/16 IN. BALL DIAMETERS ADJUSTABLE TRAILER TRI-BALL MOUNT WITH HOOK is the hitch that does it all. The hitch is very well constructed and the welds are precise. The 10,000 lb. capable hook at the receiver adds another pulling angle for off road enthusiasts. The hitch length is perfect to set a trailer on without sticking out too far and prevents dragging when 4 wheeling. The hitch is extremely heavy duty and the welded hitch balls provide a better peace of mind and added safety when towing verses bolt-on balls. I highly recommend this hitch for anyone wanting a lifetime product. WOW!

This review is for the Class V ball and hook mount, the class V fits a 2 1/2” receiver. Home Depot also carries the Class IV mount that fits a 2” receiver. The Class V is big and sturdy. In the past I always carried 2 or 3 separate mounts to cover any trailer I might tow. The TowSmart is now the only mount that I keep in my truck. Three ball sizes and a hook make it very versatile. I haven’t used the hook at this point but it’s a bonus to have. The balls and hook are all welded in place and not removable. Overall this is a quality mount that meets all of my towing needs.

Had to return it because it fit my brothers truck so I assumed it would fit mine as well, but it did not unfortunately.. seemed like a high quality tri-hitch though..

I mean it is a hitch... it pulls stuff.. hasnt broken so far...

The hitch is fair, however, the receiver is meant for a two inch receiver, it's smaller than 2 inches leaving a lot of room for gap and rattle. You either need to find a self-fix or an anti-raddle ratchet on it. Otherwise it will absolutely drive you crazy and creates a large amount of slack and bounce while towing.

It a item that was needed for my truck hitch, it fits well and very quality made, I and my son are very satisfied with the item and will recommend the item to anyone that needs a high for their vehicle I made a good choice.

I haven't had less than a couple of months and the paint is peeling and showing rust. I haven't even used it yet to tow anything. Thinking of taking it back as soon as I have a chance.
