Why rate this up to 14,000 lbs when the most you can tow using either the 2-5/16 ball or the hook is 10,000 lbs?

What are the specifications for this product? The description says the tongue rating is zero pounds. Nowhere in the description does it state what the ratings are for each of the balls or the hook.

What is the total capacity for the 2 inch ball?
The 2in ball has a capacity of up to 6,000lbs. This should be stamped on the top of the hitch ball.
Does this unit come with the metal cotter pin
The cotter pin is sold separately.
Can you reccomend a cotter pin?
The hitch has a piece of plastic where the pin should go to hold it in the receiver. What's the best way to remove this?
The pin should slide out if you push it through. If that does not want to work, we recommend using a hammer to lightly to tap it out. - TowSmart Team
