Also the hook is great for pulling different things. Shortly after getting this hitch I used the hook to pull my brother in-laws broken down truck back to town. Highly recommend this TowSmart hitch for all your towing needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a separate hitch for each size ball in the back of my truck, as i alternate trailers often. This hitch solves the problem of storage space, and not having to secure each of the other hitches so that they don't 'walk away'. I can just keep this one locked in place, and rotate as needed. Its heavy duty as well!

We have a camper do it hauls it perfectly. I will definitely recommend to a friend. I will definitely purchase another one inbb my the future if the need arises.

I haven't had a chance to use this hitch, but I can say that it is built well and is extremely sturdy. The black powder coat gives it a nice professional finish. It comes with 4 different size ball attachments and also a hook. I really like that it is a 4-in-one piece of equipment. We won't have to guess which one to bring when renting trailers. We have hitch attachments in both vehicles, a minivan and Jeep truck. This fits both hitches well.

PAY ATTENTION! TowSmart Tri-Ball Mount fits in 2-1/2 in. square receiver tubes. This is not a common mount size at least not at our house. My husband was thrilled when he unboxed this tri-ball mount with a hook. It is heavy, solid, well made and that hook would be as handy as pockets on a shirt. We have several vehicles with ball hitches and this ball mount won't fit any of them. It is the same size as the receiver tubes. So now we need to find an adapter so we can use it. Tow Smart is very proud of this product. From what I see, they have every reason to be. I learned to pay closer attention to sizes even on things one would just assume to be standardized.

Super cool piece of equipment. I got the TowSmart Class V Tri-Ball Mount with Hook, fit 2-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. Receivers because I recently helped my parents move and I needed a hitch for the trailer I rented. This tow hitch worked perfectly. I plan on using this new hitch for my future landscaping projects too. The hitch has a very nice hook attached and I plan on using that hook to help pull out the small bushes in my yard. I also plan on using this hitch to pull my boat and my camper. I think this hitch is going to be my favorite truck accessory. I love smart, practical products and this one meets the challenge. FYI, this hitch does not come with a pin.

This is one extremely versatile and heavy duty trailer hitch. The Tow Smart trailer hitch had three ball options and allows you to tow anywhere from 2,000 pounds up to 14,000 pounds depending on which of the tri ball mounts you select. It has a corrosion resistant black powder coat finish which I am seeing a few areas where I can see rust forming, hence the good rating on the quality. Even with that, I would definitely recommend this hitch just for it's versatility.

It's so convenient to have this mount and not worry about will it fit the next trailer, just rotate for size needed. It's powder coated for looks and durability in any weather.

After carrying around in the back seat of truck for years big bulky flip hitches this one is a welcome change. its built for a 2-1/2' receiver so I don't have to lug around a retro-fit sleeve. I pull all all size trailers on any given day with different ball diameters. The utility hook is a good idea however I generally just use the ball if I need to tie off to something. It's light weight and takes up a little amount of space under my seat in back of club cab.

Have been looking for a really good tow bar and found it at HOME DEPOT with this TOWSMART TRI-BALL MOUNT TOW MOUNT; very quick and easy hook-up and extremely good ball adjustments, going from 1 7/8" to 2" to 2 5/16"; this TOWSMART TRI-BALL TOW MOUNT can handle up to 14,000 pounds (maximum) trailer weight, which is perfect for any heavy loads you may have; also the black powder coating finish should last a long time; for my personal use, this TOWSMART TRI-BALL TOW MOUNT is perfect for pulling tree stumps (it might not have been designed for that, but I am definitely going to use it when I need to pull out an old tree stump); but, in my opinion, the best feature for this TOWSMART TRI-BALL MOUNT TOW BAR is the hook, which can be used for pulling a vehicle (of course, making sure all of your hook-up is good and secure) or anything you might have in mind; I am very pleased with my choice and plan on long years of use; highly recommend this TOWSMART TRI-BALL MOUNT TOW BAR

Love Love Love this hitch/mount. This thing is great. I love the fact that its an all-in-one setup in that you carry around one hitch/mount and you get all of this in one. I have to say the hook looks really nice and strong. I would imagine you could lift my whole car from it. I haven't towed anything with it just yet but based upon my previous hitch, this one will be much nicer and easer to use and again, no more switching out balls when I have to two something different, now I simply rotate it to whatever I need. So happy!

Provide multiple access points with one hitch with the TowSmart Tri-Ball Mount. This combination unit slides into a standard 2 inch by 2-inch receiver. By choosing the orientation of the mount, you have the choice of a 1-7/8 in., a 2 in., or 2-5/16 in. hitch ball size. You also can select a towing hook. All have capacity rated at 10,000 pounds of Class III towing. The balls and hook are permanently mounted to the unit. You will need a metal hitch pin to secure the mount to your receiving vehicle. The unit is made of heavy gauge steel with a black powder coat finish to withstand the elements. This mount is strong and the flexibility it provides to accommodate a variety of hitch sizes is great. Even if you only need one ball size, but frequently have to attach a tow strap, the time saved by having all functions in one device will be a benefit. Intended for use with a Class V, 2-1/2-inch receiver, three (3) balls (1-7/8 in., 2 in., and 2-5/16 inch) are provided along with a 10,000-pound rated hook. It is rated for trailer weights of; 2,000 lbs., 10,000 lbs. and 14,000 lbs. depending upon which ball is in use. The maximum tongue weight is rated at 1,400 lbs. The entire unit is powder-coated in a black finish. The balls are coated also but will likely shed their coating during the first use, as the one ball had already had its coating abraded off during shipping due to rubbing against the carboard container. All of the balls and the hook are welded directly to the carrier. While this does eliminate the need to occasionally check the tightness of a bolted connection, not knowing what welding standards are in place in the country of manufacture (Vietnam) and as no welding certification is provided it would be wise to, after every use, just eyeball the joint in use to insure there is no incipient failure visible. The items do appear to be well made, but the weld quality could be a concern.

This type of ball/hook mount is very convenient if you occasionally tow trailers with differing ball requirements. I have mostly used the two (2") inch ball for my standard every day utility trailer. I have used the tow hook a couple times with straps. The 10,000 pound rating of the hook exceeds the maximum rating of my half-ton pick-up and the curve of the hook is helpful for keeping a tow strap from slipping off.

The Towsmart tri-ball hitch mount with hook is a great thing to have if you’re like me and two different trailer ball hitch sizes for your trailers. I have one landscaping trailer with a 1 7/8’s ball and the other trailer is a boat trailer with 2 1/16 ball size. I used to carry around a pipe wrench and change the balls out as needed until I got this hitch and have it all in one! The hook is a nice addition that I may not particularly use, but am glad I have! I dont think I could have asked for a better (4) way hitch setup! Very happy with the hitch.

I needed hitch mount in order to get my riding mower to the repair shop, I did not know what size of ball I would need for the trailer..luckily this comes with several sizes so that eliminated the problem. Installation is pretty straight forward. Just shove it in and secure it to hitch. This is made of some pretty heavy steel and appears to be pretty strong..

I needed an upgraded set up after getting a Ford SuperDuty F250 that had a 2.5 inch receiver. I was tired of using a sleeve/reducer to use my old 2 inch set up. It was a pain to line up and there was always some slop in the set up. No more problems now with this 2.5 inch shank set up. Solidly built, comes with multiple balls on the shank that you can utilize easily by rotating the shank. Black powder coat looks clean. Simple and functional design, highly recommend!

I used this trailer hitch with the two inch ball to tow my utility trailer. The hitch is a little longer than traditional hitches and was easy to see as I was backing up to the trailer. I like the fact that I do not have to change the trailer balls between different trailers and the hook is a great addition since I can use it to pull large branches and other things with it.

It has the small ball for things like jet ski trailers or the two inch ball that will fit most things you will find and then there is the 2 5/16 inch ball for any heavy duty loads you come across. I used the hook to tow a car using the tow strap method and it was quick and simple, Just pull the assembly out of the receiver and rotate to what ever you need to couple to. You always have what you need with you !

With this you can haul up to 14,000 pounds with the option of using a 1 7/8", 2", or a 2 5/16" ball. And the large hook will also come in handy for those special occasions. The welds are flawless. I feel confident about pulling my trailer with this receiver.

His trailer hitch mount has three sizes of balls, and a hawk. This is extremely sturdy and well-built. It probably weighs 30 pounds by itself. The only thing it didn’t come with is the pin for Attachment to your truck. However those are probably only a few dollars. The three ball sizes will accommodate virtually any size trailer. This is for a 2 1/2 inch size receiver, baron mind that most consumer line trucks and SUVs have a 2 inch receiver.

Definitely would recommend this product, it has a very nice design. Makes things more simpler to change out the ball size for the hitch. When you have multiple trailers to do various projects this is your number one tool. Slid out the pin and switch to the ball size you need. This take place of having several receivers. Keep in mind on you purchase, the pin is sold separately.

If you are like me, you are looking for a hitch of the correct size every time you tow something with a different ball size. This particular hitch has three different sizes plus a hook for when you need a strap. I bought my truck a couple years ago and it came with the 2-1/2" receiver. I have been using the spacer with 2" hitches and found it to have excessive slack so wanted to try this, it certainly has a lot less slack. It is built on a hollow tube with the 2-5/16" ball rated at 14,000 pounds which should cover most people's needs. Each ball has it's rating stamped in them. Nice to be able to keep with truck and have one hitch to cover all my trailers.

Amazing quality on this hitch!! Black powder coat finish that is corrosion resistant too! Rated for up to 10,000 lbs this could be used in commercial settings for the larger ball and tow hook. Three sizes of hitches 1 7/8", 2 inches and 2 5/16" balls plus the tow hook makes this very handy for many applications. Guessing this will last a lifetime for my farming chores.

PROS This tri-ball mount with hook is an awesome addition for anyone who uses their vehicle to tow anything. The hook is heavy duty and with the three different sized balls should easily handle almost any trailer. Whether you are recovering (or being recovered), the hook would make this a simple affair. CONS Would rather this be made in the USA.

This four way hitch is going to save me a lot of hassle. Normally I have to keep changing the hitch ball to fit the job. I have a two horse trailer that uses a 2 " ball. I also have a 20 foot heavy duty trailer that has a 2 5/16" ball. Most of the time however, I use the truck to skid trees out of the forest for firewood. When I am skidding trees I change to a tow ring that I can connect to my logging cables or chains. With this ball mount I can do all three jobs without having to change the mount. This ball carrier is a Class 5 mount rated at 10,000 pounds so it is more than adequate for anything I am doing.

What a handy design for a trailer hitch. The TowSmart Tri-Ball mount and hook are perfect for my mountain property where I have 2 different trailer ball sizes, 2 inch (ATV) and 2 5/16 inch (large dump trailer) and I also often need a tow hook for towing blown down trees out of way on my road. The 3rd ball size is 1-7/8 inch in size. The 2-inch square steel shank fits into my truck hitch perfectly. I think the powder coating will work great at protecting the hitch from rust. The rating on the hitch is Class III and can handle up to 10,000 lbs. I definitely would recommend this hitch to a friend or neighbor.

This is a very versatile 2 inch ball mount that has 1 7/8 inch, 2 inch, 2 5/16 inch a tow hook all welded in place and to be used with Class 3 and Class 4 receiver hitches. The ball mount is nicely made with clean, smooth welds, and a rust resistant black powder coated finish. You simply rotate the ball mount to the desired ball diameter or tow hook. A hitch pin is not included with the ball mount so make sure you have one or use a locking hitch pin to keep your ball mount secure. The only down side to this ball mount is it's at a fixed height, so depending on the height of the hitch reciever on your vehicle may or may not be level, which can be important when carrying heavier loads or on multiple axel trailers.
