I absolutely love my floor! The picture does not do it any justice of nice it really looks. I just wish the edges would have been a little bit bigger to make them go together alittle easier. Over all you can't go wrong with the price.

Easy to install, looks great ! Make a tapping block from 6 inch piece of flooring, screw a piece of one by to flat side of flooring to keep edge from getting battered. I recently installed this flooring in a rental property so this will be the ultimate test.

Relatively simple to install once we got into a rhythm. The locking edges are a bit more fragile than I would have liked but it did make a beautiful floor in a short time.

I installed about 1000 square feet of this product in our dining-, family- and living rooms. Did the dining room in two nights and the living room in one saturday morning. Family room is bigger so that took 3 nights and half a saturday to get done. All in all, took us less than 2 weeks from start to finish to do 3 rooms on a part time basis.
Whilst the first couple of rows were challenging to install, we were able to get the rest in quite easily once we got the hang of it.
It was delivered to us on a palette so I did not have any issues with broken corners or sides like some of the other reviewers.
The only thing to watch out for are the very sharp sides - I cut the palms of both my hands doing the first room until I wisened up and started using gloves.

We ordered this flooring online and had it delivered. It arrived on time, but about 75% of the edges were broken. We only discovered this after we openned the shipping boxes and found the raw broken edges. Fortunately we were able to salvage throught creative cutting and planning the entire project. The color is great, the flooring itself is quite durable and easy to install and clean.

Very easy to cut, I used a jigsaw, but a miter saw would have been much faster. It's a little tricky to get it to snap into place, but eventually gets there....I did the entire floor myself and I'm very impressed with the results for the money spent. Great value!

Nice budget flooring
Very nice looking flooring, it is made from cheaper wood(bottom line quality) but for someone on a budget its nice and perfect but it is solid, I dropped my new ceiling fan off the ceiling onto it and it didnt even hurt the floor but bent the mount bar on the fan so im happy either way. You do have to trim the ends to knock them together because unless you have 2 people you cant lift the entire row and snap it in without one end popping out on ya. I installed this by myself in 2 days but could of got it done in one day. Piece of cake, I love it!

We installed this in our spare room about a month ago. It looks good and I think it will wear very well. It's pretty sturdy, and while a few corners were damaged when we installed it, they don't stand out. I doubt anyone will notice it unless they're down on the floor looking for it (see photo).
We'd never installed laminate before. One thing we'd do differently is purchase laminate that had the underlayment attached. Laying down the underlayment isn't hard, but it would have been faster and easier if we could skip that step. We also removed our baseboards, which made it infinitely easier than if we'd left them in place. We repainted and reinstalled them, and they look great.
Be sure to pick up one of the laminate installation kits home depot has for less than $20. We started off with just the spacers, which cost less, but realized we needed the tool in the kit. It would've been cheaper to just buy the kit in the first place.
If you're installing it yourself for the first time, watch some youtube videos first. You'll need to make sure your floor is fairly level (read the laminate package insert), and don't try to click the panels into place one at a time (that's how our corners got damaged). Click together a whole row end-to-end, and then click the whole row into place. As you're making your cuts, be sure the cut end will be against a wall. A cut piece can go only in certain places because one of the "clickable" edges has been removed. This means you may need more laminate than you thought. We had to buy two extra packages for our project.
You'll also need a good saw. We used a table saw.
Our installation was over some old tile that had broken off in places. A Home Depot flooring specialist suggest we use some super-strong construction adhesive that comes in a tub like spackle to level out those spots. It worked great!
We'd probably choose a product that wasn't obviously laminate for a room we use often, like a den or living room. But overall we're happy with how things turned out and with the quality of the product, and can recommend it.

Hard (almost impossible) to install, falls apart.
Do not buy this product. Spend the extra $0.11 a square foot and buy the Lake Shore Pecan. The Pecan has an entirely different install procedure. I previously installed 1200 sq ft of the pecan in about 6 hours with one person cutting the other setting. I purchased this for a room we needed flooring in wanted to go as cheap as possible thinking it was the same install procedure. With the pecan you click the long edge in, line up your end and give it a couple taps with the rubber mallet and its in. As long as you keep your edges straight you can put it in faster than they can hand you boards. This Gladstone oak makes you lock in the ends first which causes you to try to lock in a whole row at once (nearly impossible), trying to tap it in only results in it disintegrating. It took me 3 hours to do about 4 rows. I ripped it all back up, returned it and bought the Lake Shore Pecan. I had it all 850 sq ft installed in 5 hours. Trust me on this if you want an inexpensive laminate by the Lake Shore Pecan. The best use for Gladstone Oak is the fire pit. Word of caution, make sure you get all the cases off the same pallet otherwise there can be some extreme color variations.

I swear by Traffic Master
I bought A Traffic Master product 9 years ago to replace the carpeting in our basement family room which was formerly my wife's daycare center. Needless to say between that , two dogs and a cat we did not want another carpet. The laminate is still in beautiful condition except where my daughter and her friends decided to hang a piñata and in smashing it they kicked a de- humidifier which splashed a considerable amount of water on the floor. Once I wet-vacced it up and ran the de-humidifier the flooring actually returned to a decent condition. 6 years ago I installed it in my daughters bed room she is rough on flooring, totally wore out a huge circle in the old carpeting from spin dancing. The laminate still looks like the day I installed it. I just bought the Gladstone yesterday, and agree with another reviewer here the web picture does not resemble the color at all, its actually a reddish oak color, the install was easy, although instructions say don't tap the product to install. It is necessary as we have convectors for heat and to get planks under them I used scrap boards with a rubber mallet with no issues. I gave this review a good only because the Gladstone is a couple MM's thinner than the other products I installed and am hoping it will hold up as well as they did.

Difficult to install because of end and edge interlocking design
I have installed many laminate floors. This design was very difficult to install. At first I laughed at the other "difficult to install" reviews but having completed my first room with this product, I'm fully on board with the reviewers. The design requires first interlocking plank ends and then persuading the long edge to interlock with the previously installed row. Doing so requires a lot of board wrestling and requires moving neighboring planks from the previous fully installed location. Installing this flooring will likely take 3 times longer than other laminates with the "align the long edge, lower and simply pop the end" design. You WILL have to use a tapping block to install this, be careful not to ruin edges. Because of the design, working around door molding under-cuts, etc. is extremely difficult. Looks great when done.

excellent look but hard to install
I really hard time to figure out how to snap planks both sideways and longways simultaneously. It requires a major force and yanking to make it work. After finishing it though, it looks excellent, feels great to walk on. It's a great value.

Easy install for beginners
This was relatively easy to install. Completed 3 rooms in two days (12x15). Planks fit as design. Looks great once installed. Resistant to staining and small spills. Although the interlocking edges are very fragile, you are able to trim crushed edges and still get a level and interlocking fit. Easy to cut& trim with basic tools. Always check fit before hammering, force guarantees damage. Would purchase again for low-end, quick, Do-it-yourself installs.
