This is the best shovel I have ever used and I grew up in the snow belt in upstate NY. The design and weight of this shovel is fantastic, no back aches after shoveling. Love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to use and not too heavy. It's a snow shovel - what else can you ask for?

It worked as advertised in the pervious two snow storms. It met my expectations.

I would prefer a shovel with a metal strip at the end for better shoveling results, but this is the only one Home Depot had in stock

There's not much to say. It's a shovel, and it works as expected. The curved handle provides some benefit when shoveling. You don't have to bend as much.

This snow shovel works really well. Ergonomic handle for easy use, poly strip instead of metal on the edge so it doesn’t bend. I’m very happy with this snow shovel!

The shovel itself is heavier than others which adds to the weight of heavy, wet snow. The curve in the handle does not allow you to grip lower when lifting a heavy shovel full so I’ve relegated it for use only with light and fluffy snowfalls. It is well made though and should last a long time.

This shovel truly is easier to use than a standard straight shovel. I was able to shovel 3-4" of wet heavy snow without a problem.

Had to look thru about 24 shovels to find the one that had the straightest end as all of them are curved on the end either from the riveting of the blade onto the shovel pan or the pan itself being warped/curved, but i did use the shovel and it worked fine scrapping the snow the entire length of the blade, also enjoyed the ergonomic handle and the less effort on my back when lifting the snow. overall i am satisfiied with the purchase.

Seems the “blade’ is bowed in the middle thus leaving snow on the edges. Might be good for throwing snow, but not for scraping the driveway surface

Like the curved handle shape, it allows for less movement of my back to move the snow. It is comfortable to use. Only drawback is that it does not have the rigidity to break up the ice. However, the light weight and ability/ease with which the snow moves make it an excellent purchase.

I am convinced that this shovel with an added handle (from amaz0n) half way down the shaft, is the perfect snow shovel. Took me 2.5 hours to clear our large driveway of about 4-5 inches of heavy snow and not once did my back bother me. Tell your friends.

bought 2 - on the first one - on the first use the handle fell off. second one - scooping edge is curvy and doesn’t scrape clean against the pavement. disappointing because the ratings were so high. i’m replacing the first with identical product but we’ll see.

As others reported, the blade of the shovel was bowed. Part of my reason for purchasing this shovel was to replace a shovel by another manufacturer which also has a bowed blade. Though this shovel was well reviewed by Wire Cutter, it appears many of these shovels suffer from the issue. I returned this shovel and purchased a similar shovel (with a nearly straight blade) by a different manufacturer.
