It’s a nice handle but only comes with a wooden wedge. The manufacturer should include a steel wedge. My Home Depot doesn’t stock the steel wedge so I had to order online to complete the repair.

Good replacement axe handle when you need one.

Real hickory. Been chopping all week with this, does the job.

Axe would not fit. I only got about half of the Axe wedge onto this handle. It looks like I need to carve away 1.5 inches of wood for this to fit.

Great handle but make sure your axe head is the correct size

My previous handle broke from heavy use. This one replaced it just fine.

I had to search for a handle with good grain structure. This one was the best of what was on the shelf. Not liking the varnish/coating at all but it did scrape off fairly easily. Most of the selection had really thick profiles so i also picked the thinnest one. I guess if you have XXL hands thats fine. OK for something off the shelf.

Great for the price. Quicker than making my own

Broke axe handle chopping wood. Store had 2 handles in stock. Fit with a little shaving down of the end. Worked great and got back to work.

This axe handle worked great for re-hanging my axe. It was my first time doing it and it went pretty smooth. I highly recommend this if your looking for a good axe handle.

The wedge was not included with the ax handle. Why? We had to make our own

Excellent quality and price

I ordered a pick handle. Received an axe handle. Don’t understand how anyone could not understand the difference! Tried to return it. Was told to find a number then try again. Will NOT order that way again. Ordered it as a Christmas gift, so sad. Was not what I ordered. Someone didn’t know the difference. Need to educate them.
