If you watch the instruction video it's not too hard to assemble. Giving it 3 stars because of the quality out of the box. I had this door shipped to HD and had to wait for a truck to get some help picking it up. Right when I took it out of the box there was one small hole in the screen part and another tear at the bottom of the door where the screen meets the frame. Since it was a pain to get a truck and get to HD I wasn't about to take it back and wait for another so I just accepted it flaws and all. I definitely suggest checking it for flaws when you open it and if you can return it easily, go for it. Other than that, I'm happy with the breeze I now get from leaving my front door open.

This door is inexpensive when compared to other options. There is also a great deal of information for the novice to install.

The door arrived in a timely manner, was not damaged, and was installed in accordance with the manufacturer's U-tube video and written instructions. Very pleased with appearance and outcome.

Costs a little more than some other basic-styled security doors in stock, but an attractive front entrance is fully worth it. Love the Look!

This is a petty design and offers the security I wanted. The no glass design makes it perfect for letting cool breezes flow into the house. Also, the security screen makes it's perfect if a stranger comes to the door...you can keep the door closed and deadbolt locked while you figure out if you want to let the "visitor" in. Awesome!

Bought the door for my daughter's condo. She loves the design and the security. Superior quality in materials and construction. Simple to install...got it done by myself in about an hour and I have very limited skills. I rented the Home Depot pickup to bring it home. Great all around experience!

Best looking security door i have seen. Would recommend it o anyone needing a beautiful front or back door. GIVES PRIVACY AS WELL AS GOOD LOOKS.

Found some of the mounting holes off centered on the locking mount rail. Was screwing in the one way bolts and they was going in at an angle. They do not sell the one way removal tool. Had to use channel locks . Took about 3.5 hours. Good door

Good quality and very easy to install. It was worth every penny. We run a doggie daycare out of the house and it can handle all of the abuse.

Love my door. I forget it's a "security" door because it looks so good and is so practical. I just bought a second door just like this one to replace another flimsy old screen door.

No problems with the door. ... but this door ~as many of the same kind of screen are so noisy! SLAMMMMMM

I looked everywhere for a 30" wide security door, and found this. Living in a wildlife area, I can now enjoy the breeze without inviting the animals!

I was afraid the door would look too "prison-like", but it doesn't at all. Just looks like a nice screen door. And the Navajo white color is subtle, not stark like white would be.

Love the look and how durable the screen is! But I realized it did not come with glass panels so rain comes in between the isecurity door and the wood door. Are glass panels Availabke for this particular door? Pls. Let me know! Thank you!!!

Security Screen Doors are heavy and the instruction details were not complete so I had several attempts to complete the job. It is now hung to mt satisfaction and we are very happy with it.

The door is very good overall. We have much more piece of mind answering the doorbell now knowing that we are able to look through the security door before determining whether to allow entry. Also, it is much more resistant to break-in than the regular door, when we're away. However, to really keep insects out well, the optional door seal kit is needed. I'm glad I made that choice. I recommend that do it yourselfers look at the installation videos available, as well as the instructions sheet end to end before starting the installation. I also found that the security screws couldn't be driven all the way into our very dry, hardwood doorframe.. The required torque got so much that the heads would strip. I had to drill the pilot holes of 9/64 inch rather than the 1/4 inch recommended, then lubricate the hole and the bolt with a little WD-40. The bolts then went in still very tightly, so that they can't be loosened once all the way in.

I love it! You pay for quality and look. The screen holes are smaller. I was thinking since it says cottage rose, it will be a little pinkish color but it is white which I really want.

Bought 2 and one was bent. Didn't bother taking it back to the store for replacement because of the hassle. After installation it rained for an hour and rust colored water was dripping.The mesh is a lot thicker and stronger on these doors compared to the $89 door, which I also bought 2. I gave it 3 stars only because of the color option which was only available for my size door from UHD.

The installer was so great in installing the door and it is so beautiful and professional looking.

The installation instructions that came with the door are for a different type of door and I didn't notice until I had already mounted the frame with the locking lag bolts. This caused the door to gap by a half inch, so I had add several spacers to the striker plate in order for the striker to engage. The door is also slightly warped, so it doesn't close flush against the frame. This door is too expensive for the quality of the product and poor instructions.

Product was returned as it turned out to be the wrong size for our needs.

Easy install. Secure and solid construction. I like the stiffer screen because it would be harder to cut through than some of the other smaller mesh screens. I like the way the bars are situated so that it would be difficult to crawl through them even if the screen were gone. The only con is that small bugs can get through. I wish that the brown color (copper) wasn't so expensive. I would have preferred that color. Winter will tell if it rusts easily.
