I just received this carpet to use under my computer desk and area around it. It has a semi long shag type of appearance and looks like it will hold up to some serious abuse. I have not had a chance to try to vacuum it yet so that is why the color looks so patchy and uneven, But it really is a fine looking rug. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for appearances. Overall a nice addition to the area.

The reason I ordered this area rug was because of how thick and plush it is in pictures. When I unrolled it was nearly see through. There's no thickness to it. Its terrible. They show great pics and then sent garbage. No compensation for the terrible ordeal. Not one thing about this order was satisfying.

This area rug is absolutely beautiful. It goes with every decor. Makes any room pop when installed. Elegant looking.Davos Shag. Very high quality material. 12 Ft X 15 Ft. Even the backing of the rug is beautifully made. I do recommend this rug in your home. Make sure you have someone to help put it down. Nice weight to it. Shag rugs are in again.

The new Davos shag dusty rose rug is very comfortable, it may take a few days for it to flatten out but it’s very comfortable on my feet. It’s also a good cushion on the floor when I’m playing with my daughter who is two years old. This is a loom rug which is a lot different thanA weaved rug it makes it more unique and easy to clean.The color is a little different than the picture on the website, but I like it better since it won’t show any spills or anything.

I am fixing up a craft room for my wife, kind of gradually, and saw this rug, and knew it would be a perfect fit for it, and I was right. It is the perfect size, and brightens up the floor with the gorgeous pink shag. The feel of it is very soft and cozy. After putting the carpet down, I had to lay down on it just to try out. It is made of quality materials.

Beautiful rug, however the dusty rose is very purple, not pink like the photo. Not what I was looking for so had to return.

I orderedd this rug in “linen” it looked off white in the color choices. It arrived quickly and has a nice feel. The rug is beige. The sticker on the outside reads color: beige, Finish: Linen. This is a shag rug. What is linen finish? I realize color varies with monitors, but not this much. Very disappointed. Will return.

I bought this to go under my office desk, not as wide as I wanted but definitely fits the space & is actually really plush once you vacuum once. The blush color is actually really pretty in person!

This was the first time I have ever ordered a rug online and I am very happy I did! When I got the rug I rolled it out and it flattened within within minutes. i fluffed it up and it was ready to go. I would recommend a pad for underneath it, as it is a little thin, but the color is spot on and very soft. Great addition to my living room:)

I like the softness when walking barefoot, size is perfect and it flattened out very well!

I returned two area rugs these are the poorest quality ever! Look at my picture I took the rugs are bald!

This has got to be the worst product ever! We ordered two area rugs they arrived and looked like a bald head with a few fibers and bald areas not full at all. Terrible! Home Depot should re evaluate carting this cheap junk as it will give Home Depot a bad reputation for selling extremely poor quality. How can they even call this a rug? It’s beyond pathetic!

What a fun throwback to the more carefree days of the 70's. Only it's probably a much higher quality than the average rug of that time. The crisp yellow tone is a spot on match with the photo. What gets me so happy about it is its thickness and softness. After a long day at work, I prefer to go barefoot at home. It feels great beneath the feet. Also, I wanted to point out the great shipping of the product. I've been ordering a lot of rugs in recent years, and thought this one was especially well-packaged, including extra cardboard on the ends of the rolls.

This is a cute little area rug that my wife selected to use at the foot of her bed. It is pretty well made and is of decent quality. The color is absolutely beautiful and shag reminds me of the rugs and carpets of years ago. It’s quite comfortable to stand on and rakes out and maintain its like new appearance quite nicely. If your color schemes match up you could use this rug just about anywhere.

This is nice Shag rug. I've added this to my navy blue formal sitting area to add more style to my room. The yellow/gold color is vibrant and happy. It makes the room feel sunny and bright. The feel under my feet is soft and fun. It is thin so I put foam underneath for a nicer padded feeling. I don't recommend using it in high traffic area because of it's light color.

This is a neat, bright white, shaggy area rug. The long polypropylene shag fibers are very soft and almost furry. My daughter is remodeling her bedroom and this rug was a great addition to her teal and white themed room design. The rug backing is a relatively flexible mesh and the shag fibers are spaced out on the mesh enough to allow the shag move around. The backing does not have a non-slip coating or layer, but the rug doesn't seem to slide or move on the vinyl plank flooring. The size is perfect for a small / medium bedroom. The rug is a bright white, so it does make dark lint or hair visible, but the crisp white color looks great.

I wanted this rug for two reasons – to put something on the bathroom floor that wasn’t so typically “bathroom”, and to also add some color into a rather boring space. It took care of the first objective, but that added color was just too much. I realize the pictures make it seem a little muted, but this color blue was just too intense and overwhelmed the space; I think it may have been on the floor for about 10 seconds before I realized it had to go. After that, we put it in one of our guest rooms; the combination of furniture, hardwood floors, textiles, etc., help temper the intensity of the blue and make the rug much more palatable. Aside from that, the rug seems to be relatively well-made. There’s no non-skid backing, so you’ll want something like that if it’s going to be on a hard floor, and although the fibers are soft to the touch, this is not a soft (i.e., thick) rug. 

This dusty blush pink colored rug is the perfect size for putting at the foot of a toddler bed. The rug is shaggy and long enough to run your fingers and toes through. It is not as soft as I'd hoped it would be, but that's okay. It is not super fluffy, so it would probably be appropriate for use in a bathroom or sink area too. I got this for my daughter's room (who loves pink) and it goes nicely with her pink and gray decor in the room. It is more of a dull, blush pink so it goes quite nicely with most decor (rather than being that bright, neon pink that most toddler products seem to be!).

I've ended up thinking this rug is kind of charming, and that I like it okay, but that's not where I started out. After rolling this rug out, and re-rolling it the opposite direction to flatten it, first impression is the shag is long (1 1/2”) and has a little bit of a “ratty”, sparse look to it. I thought a nice vacuuming would be a good thing. Tried to vacuum it using my cordless vac on the low area rug setting, and it immediately started grabbing the rug and pulling it up (see pic). That setting on my vac is specifically designed to work on small area rugs, so not sure what the heck a person would do with a regular vacuum! (and vacuuming does seem the logical choice for this rug...it's not too heavy, so that's not the issue, but it is pretty big, and the backing has some stiffness to it, doesn't seem like it would be the easiest rug to try to shake out). I finally figured out you can set something on the far end of the rug to hold it in place, then you can vacuum it somewhat. Looks pretty fluffy once the pile is up, however, it does flatten down and show every footprint, so I'll have to use it awhile to see how good it ends up looking. Doesn't look too bad right now, kind of cushy looking. The color is nice. The backing, while not rubberized and soft, is not as hard and scratchy as most rugs, kind of a hard, braided-cotton type material (jute). Note: Be sure of your measurements, they call this a 3 x 5, but it's actually three inches bigger than that all around.

The color is lovely, the material is soft but everything else went wrong. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough material to make a nice rug. It's so flat, there's no cushion of any kind, the weave is loose and the nap shows throughout the rug. It looks and feels cheap. My bathroom rugs are at least three times thicker than this one. A rug pad will be required to keep in place. It could have been nice if there was just more rug fabric. This more like a mat.

Remember shag well this is the new improved shag. It`s easy care and ffeels great on your toes. It can look contemporary or traditional. The sterling grey color is very neutral and mixes well with most decorating options in your home. Vacuums easily and does well with a good shake. Cleaning is simple with a towel and clean water for most soils. I`m sure we will enjoy this rug for many years to come.

I recently did my bedroom over. Got myself a new Cream colored shag rug and when I saw this was available on the seeds program I decided that I would chose this area rug. I put it at the side of my bed so my new rug would stay new looking longer. It's almost a perfect match color wise. The pile on this rug is about an inch thick and after a shake out it fluffs up nicely. It's soft under your bare feet and when the winter comes it'll be cozy. I really like it. Thank You Home Depot

I had intended for this Green Shag Area Rug to go at the entrance of my living room. I had changed my mind and decided on putting it in a spare bedroom instead. The room I put it in has carpet tiles on the floor, this rug gives it a much homier and inviting look. The color in my opinion looks sorta like a dark grass green, not really a sage green. The pile of the rug is about and inch thick, and after a good fluffing it looks much better. If you're going to put it on a bare floor you will definitely need a rubber backing to prevent it from moving. Thank You Home Depot

What I like most about this Davos shag rug is the softness. Forget about those old school shag rugs, this one is buttery soft and dreamy. Unrolling it was easy as usual and there were minimal creases that easily worked itself out in no time. There is some off gassing with a strong chemical smell, so I personally would unroll and air out for a couple days before adding in the home. What I did not like is the overall color Because it says it is a poppy red, and I guess red to me is red not like a burgundy color. Overall I plan to keep it, it looks great in my kitchen.

I was rather disappointed in this 3X5 ft throw carpet (gray). The pile is rather thin and wimpy. I would say that the backing is more durable than the actual carpet pile itself. The gray color is nice. Yes, it is shag, but I have seen shag carpets with a thicker pile than this one. I got this to use in either my workshop or perhaps the garage. I thought that the shag would be absorbent enough to catch water and snow etc before coming into the house. I think its probably a good carpet to park wet boots or muddy shoes on (in someplace like a utility or mud room). My wife does not want to use it in the front foyer. The cost ($54) to quality ratio is kind of high.

A beautiful shag rug, like the good old days! They say things come back in style and I have to say I love this one! It looks great, has a jute backing, and the shag seems plush enough to be fashionable, but not so much you cannot get it clean (as was the case with the old days). When it was rolled, the one end was crushed down pretty hard, will take some time and probably steaming to get it to finish unrolling unfortunately. I would have given this 5 stars except for one thing. As I was unrolling it, the light from the front door was shining through the many holes that are apparent only when you hold light up against the back. I've not had a rug that did that, that I can recall, but this may be normal behavior for a shag rug. But again, it looks great, is plush enough to give off the shag vibe, and easy to vacuum. The color isn't quite a mint green, but it isn't dark green either. It is a very nice shade in between the two, I think sage is a good color description as is in the title of the product info. I'd say it is a good value and frankly I'm ready to get out the lava lamp!

This is a positively gorgeous rug. It is so soft, the color is perfect and completely uniform. The construction is excellent and it is simply a lovely rug. Right now it's in the kitchen, but it is so soft and inviting, maybe it should go in the bedroom? This color is so versatile that it could be used in any room. I highly recommend this lovely area rug.

The Unique Loom Davos Shag Rug was securely packaged in very thick plastic with cardboard cuffs on both ends so it was very clean upon arrival. The rug I received is white, not ivory, but dye lots differ so that is not a problem. The problem I do have with this rug is that it is very thin and is poor quality. You can easily feel the backing while pressing a finger into the pile. I have bath mats with more dense pile than this rug. I plan to use it as a bath mat since I would want a nicer rug elsewhere in my house. On the plus side the rug is supposed to be stain and fade resistant and easy to clean.Also, the rug is very inexpensive but if you are wanting a high quality rug then this one will not meet your needs.
