Worked great. Maybe the bad reviewers didn’t read the directions? Score the material a bunch, then align your scored material on the edge of a table and snap. easy peasy.

No working with plastic at all...

Seriously, ignore the negative reviews. If you bought this $5 cutting tool expecting to instantly cut through plexiglass/acrylic, then you're a fool. This works perfectly for what it's intended for. I used this to cut sheets of .98 acrylic when making one of my display cases. Simply clamp it,clamp a straight edge and carefully make your first score. Rinse and repeat, after a few scores, you can go faster and put more pressure. Then half way through, just snap your piece off. Simple, Cheap, Easy.

This tool is meant to be used much like Glass cutters. It scores a line and you break the sheet along the scored line. Like snapping glass it take some practice to get good at it. When teaching plastics many years ago in school we used carbide tipped tools. This tool will dull if you press down hard enough. Several light passes are better. That and a good sharp edge to break it over.

It went dull after about 10 mins.

After ten passes with the knife , still could not snap plastic sheet .

Just use a razor blade cutter. This is too dull for cutting/scoring.

Great tool very easy to use and practical.

Awful. Didn’t score deep enough to result in a straight edge. A razor blade worked much better than this item.

This was easy to use, following the instructions, but the result was not very good. In the past, Home Depot has cut the plastic sheet for me. This time, they said they don't do that any longer, but I could purchase the tool and follow the easy instructions. I scored the sheet as recommended (and even went over it a few extra times to ensure the score was deep enough). When breaking the sheet, it did not break evenly and ruined at least the first two pieces of the project. I will now try to find another store that does cut plastic sheets for when I decide to continue with this project.

This cutting tool was advised by Home Depot for cutting the ceiling panels. It does not do the job and is a waste of money. I would never buy again and do not recommend it.

Horrible!! Don’t work at all!! Save your money!! A butter knife would work better!

Didn’t cut the plastic sheet

The cutting edge was a bit roughly ground. Corrected that with a few strokes of a whetstone. Quite easy to use but watch out for the cuttings getting between the straight edge and the blade side on long cuts; clear the cuttings frequently and don’t use too much pressure.

It didn’t work at all
