Easy to use, color is beautiful. A little goes a long way. We are very happy with this product.

Perfect gray color for this rustic table I built.

Color came out perfect and quick clean up.

If you are looking for a quick drying oil based stain this is it for you. I bought it to make my own custom colored stain and it worked amazingly. I purchased from an art supply store oil paint to use as my pigment and it mixed perfectly. I now have a perfect purple colored oil based stained.

Dries almost as fast as they say!

Worked as advertised. Gave the wood a nice, rustic look and a cool tone. Picture used is of a light, pine wood.

Was darker and more purple then I had expected. But with a second wipe it came out good.

The stain covered well with one coat and dried even quicker than advertised. I wiped stain with a rag immediately after applying to give my project more of a weathered look and it was perfect!

Never used any type of wood stain, wanted to go for a more modern look. Stained a Home Depot Birchwood “74” countertop. Applied Varathane Premium Wood Stain in BRIARSMOKE. Pictures doesn’t show the finish coat (polyurethane)

This does exactly what it says and looks very good. I stained my entire office desk inside with cross ventilation from open windows and ceiling fan directly above it and the smell never bothered me. It would have dried faster if it wasn't humid, but it was cool like needed. It's a little bit darker than I expected, but dried too fast to thin it out in time and didn't mix it with anything. This small can has a lot more than I expected too.

VERY NICE ONCE DRIED IT DOES APPEAR AS THE ADVERTISED ,BUT THE LOW ODER NOT SO LOW BUT NOT TERRIBLE EITHER IT TO ME SMELLS LIKE SHARPY MARKERS ,LOTS AN LOTS OF SHARPYS A DESENT CEILING FAN ON LOW WILL TAKE CARE OF THE SMELL IM GOING TO DO THE REST OF MY AV CABNET WITH THIS STAIN USING MY AIR COMPRESSER AN MY 1-1/2 GALLON GRAVITY FEED TEXTURE AIR SPRAY GUN AS OF NOW IV GOT ONE COAT ,IVE GOT TO PUT JUST ONE MORE AN I THINK THAT WILL BE ENOUGH

Worked out well and looks beautifully. Make sure to follow the preparation instructions for the piece your staining and this will work great.

The color is so nice. Application was easy, one coat. Smooth. Will be using again!!

Easy to use. I tried a brush first but after reading the reviews went out and purchased a sponge. What a difference. The sponge cut my paint time in half and made the paint less drippy. I used Antique White first, then the Vintage Aqua on top of that. After sanding the edges to give it an "old, worn look" I finished with Varathane Wax.

The varathane interior wood stain was easy to apply, the color Ebony was the perfect choice to use, and fast dry.

Perfect for our project. Our tv console wasn't wide enough to hold our new 65" TV, so my fabulous brother got two boards Varathane Ebony Premium Fast Dry Interior Wood Stain stain. He extended the top of the cabinet to hold the new TV, looks pretty good if I say so myself.

Great coverage and beautiful color

I bought it for the "fast dry" characteristic on the label. "1-hour dry time." I was using in in an unconventional way. I make jigsaw puzzles for our grand and great-grand kids. I made a cow and decided to decorate it with dabs of black. I thought the stain would be a better look than paint and probably be easier to apply. I used a dauber and the look wasn't bad. I was surprised, however, when I was picking up the pieces to find they were sticking to my hand. I set them aside for a second day and they were a little better. On the third day, I was able to wipe some of the still sticky areas a little more before I finished all the pieces, as I normally do, with a dip in a plastic bag of Danish Oil.The dauber probably let a thicker film than a brush would have, but it wasn't thick enough to be noticeable. I had shaken the can for a couple of minutes and then stirred it after opening. I definitely won't do that again.

Loved this stain. I used it to restrain my dark brown sleigh bed. It had great coverage and dry time. It brought new life to a large piece of furniture I had grown tired of.
